[OC] Got it in 2018 with 8k miles, now it has 24k
Seems to be a solid replacement for my old hardbody. Between that and my 720, they had a million miles put together.

I bought a brand new Nissan Sentra back in 2024. For a while it was fine but then it started to decelerate by itself and eventually started to turn off on its own. Recently found out there was a recall on my car that went out on the exact same day I bought it. The dealership keeps telling me the recall does not apply to my car. Can someone give me advice or steer me in the right direction about next steps?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Carplay gets cropped when used- happens way too often.

Hey all, looking to purchase this truck. Found a great deal near me, but I wanted to confirm the engine quality is the same as the models that follow it and there are no differences between the XD and standard. I know the Cummins went away in 2019, so just want to be certain the 5.6 in the 2021 XD is solid.
I used to drive a power stroke 7.3, so I’m prepared for the size and the fuel bill to follow.

I had a blast reviewing this, although there are a ton of compromises on this trim. But outside of that the drive was quite nice and got me passed my CVT biases ( although longevity we still need time to see with their “improved” transmission. Rides great! Love the looks! Hope you guys like my skit in the intro haha. Please please share any thoughts or critiques or feedback. My channel is small and I don’t care about views I genuinely just love sharing my car content to the fans and owners of the brand!
Thank you so much for being such a dope community.

For reference I have a Nissan Sentra 2019. About a week or so ago I had issues with my car starting everything turn on (dash, radio, ac) but no engine, it won’t even crank. It was seen by pepboys. They checked the battery, starter and both are fine.
They opened the fuse box looked around, put it but on and suddenly it started working again. Fast forward to today. Same issues again.

I'm considering buying a 2019 Nissan X-Trail (Rogue) with the 1.7 dCi diesel engine and AWD. It has about 230,000 km (143,000 miles).
The car was bought new from the local Nissan dealer, serviced exclusively at that same Nissan dealership, and the previous owner recently traded it in there for a newer X-Trail. It has a complete dealer service history and appears to have been well looked after.
My biggest concern is the CVT. I know Nissan CVTs have a mixed reputation, although I've read that the later units are more reliable than the earlier ones. What I'm struggling with is whether a transmission that's already reached 230,000 km should be considered a good bet or whether I should assume it's living on borrowed time.
The car is the top trim and it is priced at 12000€.

5N1DR2MM5KC596896 is the vin
2019 Pathfinder
I'm not present to check on the car.
so is there a way to tell what trim my car is? And if it's all wheel or forward wheel from my VIN only?

Hey Nissan community, In may my boyfriend got into an accident and our beautiful Nissan Sentra 2025 SR was totaled, thankfully we had full coverage, but ultimately we decided to replace it with an Sentra SV 2025 instead of another SR, I thought it was mostly cosmetic and a few small things overall I wouldn’t notice, well the car came Sunday and I was super excited but upon driving around in it, it is NOT the same, we had the all weather package in the SR with the dual zone AC for passenger and driver, along with the heated seats, and cup holders that pulled out in the back, and as snobby and stupid as it sounds, I miss the red stitching, ULTIMATELY the small cosmetic things I miss can be replaced with custom seat covers and stuff along those lines, but I am really mostly missing the all weather package that came with our SR, we got the car through carvana and it heavily considering spending the extra cash and returning it for an SR, my boyfriend seems adamant that this car is better and there’s less stuff to go wrong, and cheaper to fix, I’m wondering if you guys think overall the SV is a better car to keep instead of the SR, am I being silly and just grieving our old car? I’m greateful for any advice on long term of both cars and such please and thank you 💕

I will try and keep this short because I know dozens of other users in this sub have posted about the same exact issue. So- I have a 2018 Kicks SR. When my car started having issues, I boiled it down to needing to replace the MAF sensor. I have replaced it three times now (and cleaned it in-between that) and the same issues are still happening. It's not all the time, but I can still feel something is wrong when I'm driving.
So for the people that have had this issue and replaced the MAF sensor- does buying the Nissan branded sensor help/work better than a 3rd party one? I swear I read on here once that Nissans don't really "like" having off brand parts in the cars themselves. I really don't want to have to buy a new car, but this car has given me nothing but trouble starting 4 years after I got it. (Brand new, too!) I don't know what to do anymore. I'm genuinely at my wits end. I don't want to keep buying replacement sensors, but I'll buy the Nissan one if it's worth it.
I hope that made sense. Sorry for the formatting, I am on mobile.

I’m planning to go with this one. It’s my first time buying a new car from a dealership. I’m not that expert in negotiations and i’m gonna deal with people who do that for a living. Any tips, questions i should ask, how to get the best deal, what should i be worried and paying attention to? I just don’t wanna get screwed. I have $5k to put as a down payment, i know Nissan has 0% for 60 months. And overall, is it really a reliable vehicle?

Bought a 2023 Nissan Qashqai
1.3 DiG-T MH 158 Acenta Premium 5dr Xtronic
Due to be delivered next week, we were under the impression it was automatic, but when sorting insurance quote was told it’s a semi automatic (now confirmed). It’s not a major issue but my wife hasn’t liked an old car that was semiautomatic because it wasn’t smooth in the slightest. Does anyone have any experience with this gearbox does it drive smooth/well. It’s the first time I’ve bought a car and so I’m very anxious about it all.

I've been looking for about 4 months for a valve cover replacement. I took mine off because I thought the engine was seized up, it ended up being a new starter I bought from rock auto that had went bad. Silly me. The seals around the coil pack tubes were dry rotted and crumbled. Nobody makes the valve cover for the 1.8 L any longer that I can find. Does anybody know anywhere I can buy one? At this point I'm desperate enough to pay stupid money. Can anyone point me in the correct direction for a valve cover replacement? I don't care if it's used as long as it has the tube seals, it's for the 1.8 L.

Hi all - I’m shopping for a new car and wasn’t even considering Nissan really due to the CVT. I randomly stopped by a dealership and he had 9 brand new, unsold Nissan Altima’s on his lot of various trims. Told me I can take $7k off msrp for any one I want and buy it. I would get the trim with leather seats which is $34k msrp for $27k. Is this a good deal? I was looking at a Kia K5 or a Honda accord originally (but the head gasket issues on the accord are scaring me). Anyway, is $7k off msrp a great deal? Are the CVT issues behind it?

2015 Juke Nismo I need a wheel well liner replacement for the passenger side front. I have tried 2 after market parts that do not fit. Multiple junk yards near me do not have the any. Can someone suggest where I can find this?

I lost the keys to my car. I have a spare I can temporarily use but when I tried pressing the button with no key at all it says "key id incorrect" and not "no key detected". Does that mean it's possible that my lost keys are still in the car but too far to reach or low battery? Or is the key id incorrect just standard now for it not detecting any key at all?

Using my third rogue so far for work and prob my favorite one so far, but the Bluetooth and CarPlay on this one is a real stinker. Seems to really aggressively want me to use Google Maps, throws a tantrum when I wanna play music via Bluetooth without CarPlay, Apple Maps seems to be gone. I miss my Frontier’s Bluetooth system. Simple, doesn’t mess with my apps, lets me cheat out background play on YouTube etc.
