You can do this in a private world solo. It's 3 infestations deleted. No ammo wasted.

You didn't want me to be able to solo an infestation, congrats, I can't now. I'm no longer going to do them at all, just isn't worth the bullet or time sink. You ruined an otherwise enjoyable part of the game.

Friend gave me the best idea. We all tagged the boss and died, then we spawned on each other and got the loot haha.

Not a day goes by that I don’t spend at least a few moments in my minds eye running through fields and forests and fire on my favorite loot routes in Appalachia playing Nuclear Winter. Maybe once a week I still google “bring back nuclear winter” hoping something has changed. I always die a little inside when the first comment I read from some Todd Howard Stan is how it’s never coming back because “ the community” doesn’t want it. Strange how some decide they speak for all of us. So instead they focused on funny flags and servers where there’s no limits on your best little camp. I basically checked out after the removal just out of anger. It was the first time I’d had a game taken from me forever, I can still play FF 6 on Super Nintendo whenever I want… but nuclear winter is just gone … forever. Fortnite is great… but it’s just not the same.
Anyways. This is my first Reddit post and I just hope a few people who miss the game and everyone they played it with see’s this and knows they’re not the only one. I miss you guys. I miss Nuclear Winter. I miss doing it together every night. I miss hating you when you win or use glitch exploits to cheat. I hope you’re doing well. And I hope that we meet again one day in the Valhalla that was Nuclear Winter.

Few days ago i had posted in another thread i was having trouble launching nukes. After a few people helped me out I was able to do it and when i did the Calvary showed up for the scorched earth public event. Might have been the most stressful mission I’ve done ever.

the boss is unkillable, a whole team of 7 is not even enough, people just rage quit against it, and there is not a change for a solo player using melee weapons to take down this boss, this is just going to make people rely on busted builds just to have a chance to kill him, infestations are not worth doing anymore

They were the EMT driving the ambulance that brought my Mom to her radiation (lung cancer) treatment in a building about a block from the hospital she is currently admitted at.

I noticed they had a VaultTec patch on her EMT uniform and so I said, "You're into Fallout?" Then we talked about it during the transport when they weren't busy communicating with the team of EMTs.

Got to learn a lot about the early days of FO76 and how they and the other streamers saved 76 from its awful release, and the Wasteland Estates HOA.

Infestation now sitting at 29 mins with a quarter health bar down. 5 or 6 there and hitting with Endangerol Stringer but not moving a great deal. Some higher level players too but it's expensive for my Ultracite bullets lol. Had enough

I’ve scrapped so many 4 star items from Bigfoot and infestations and have had maybe ONE mod box drop and I have learned none of the recipes to craft them. Is the RNG just terrible for them? What am I missing?

I understand the complaints of the content was being smashed too easily by endgame builds/players but man this update makes infestations almost seem unbelievable to even “want” to do. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Well... Title.

The update is called INFESTATION.

But since its first iteration it was far from that. A not-so-powerful boss with a few slightly-above-average minions.

Thet were not numerous and surely not enough for you to call it an infestation.

And now, after the update, instead of rework and fine tune some of the mechanics, they just cranked up all the health bar to 255. That's the "fix". An infestation of a one uberpowered enemy.

I dunno if the old engine cant handle a literal hundred of mobs at once, but in this case quantity would be more fun than "quality". We have Bounties for that.

Radiation Rumble is more "infestation" than this.

I know WE asked for buffed bosses. But please, Bethesda, balance this thing. This update sounds like a tantrum like "Oh, you asked for godly enemies, eh?? Here you are!".

Whoever is dropping a nuke on a line midway between Watoga Station and Overgrown Sundew Grove, you are my personal hero. I missed out on the enemies tonight, so I didn't get much HRF, but I just came away with 125 raw crimson flux. Yesterday, I hit the sweet spot and got enough HRF and HM to make 70 crimson. You rock. May your water purifier always be full and may treasure hunters and Cultist Elders spawn in your camp and die like flies in a chicken barn.

I've noticed my male character is doing a lot more female grunting since the update, especially when taking radiation damage, but even when fast traveling to my camp it happens.

At first I wasn't sure if someone else was around me, because it was supposed to not happen with this fix. Though, they did shoo us off that server early last night, so maybe they did another update.

So I liked to run infestations on a private server with the hubby in our down time. And it was fun. Today, each one we ran, less loot, bullet sponge Ala bigfoot bosses and the regular infestations enemies were tougher too. I get why public servers needed the event to last longer but now it's just an ammo dump with a bullet sponge health bar monster without much payoff now and doesn't feel fun if you do that with private server and 2 people. Not sure how that improves them,?? Couldn't it be scaled ot something for private servers and or the boss not appear till rest cleared to make it last longer for public servers? I don't know. Sort of disappointed. And my guns still get changed out on me on a regular basis. But anyways, the new dance emote is a good time. But alas for less loot, ammo sponges and huge investment to clear bosses now won't be doing infestations anymore and am sad because they WERE fun and productive.

Just thought it was kind of funny. I have never seen the inside of these tubes before. Fast traveled away and back and it was fixed.
