Looked to be in van Heek park

A friend and me are planning a visit to Enschede's friday nightlife by bus and our bus back home leaves saturday morning from the Main Station at 6:40 am. Every bar/club closes by 4 am right? Are there any good opportunities to spend those 2 and a half hours of waiting time somewhere safe and maybe even warm? We would choose a 24/7 McDonald's but I could not find that either.

Any good ideas (no hookups) welcome! Thanks in advance

Hallo / Hello! I am an American trying to come to Enschede for higher studies (at Universiteit Twente). I love turning to poetry as an escape from work and my "serious" academic life: reading poetry, writing poetry, and meeting other local poets in gatherings has been the highlight of my evenings and weekends. I'm wondering if there are any local poets, poetry groups or "open mic" type of sessions that meet in the Twente/Enschede area? Couldn't find much on google, but maybe these fly under the radar! Would love to get connected, and join if I'm able to move to Enschede.
