I recently went on Amazon and I saw the windone rm7 listed for $299 cad I wanted to know if this bike will actually arrive or will they cancel my order it’s been 2 days and not shipped yet. And I noticed the price always changes from $1999 to $300 so sometimes it’s 2k sometimes $300 someone please let me know if this is a scam or not.

What’s the best sub $3000 emtb value? I can get a new Ride1up Trailrush for $1900 or a Aventon Ramblas ADV for $2900 (but on dealership said they could take a couple hundred off the price) just wondering what are people’s thoughts on which one I should get. Looking for something to ride some single track and road use. I want an EMTB that feels natural to pedal and something where I can get some exercise but also keep up with my kids who have class 3 ebikes. Seems like the Trailrush has better/more reliable components but the Ramblas has better frame fit and finish, UL ratings, larger battery, better charger. I don’t think I’ll need the range of the Ramblas but if I do I can buy an extra battery. Anyone out there ride both bikes or have any thoughts on the two. Is the Ramblas worth $800-$1000 more?

I'm moving to Georgia from Illinois soon and I was wondering if there is a cost-effective way to ship my $600 Concord commuter ebike, or if I should just sell it and get a new one once I'm there. I don't drive (hence the commuter bike), so taking it to Georgia myself is not an option. Bikeflights says the dimensions are too big for them to ship (roughly 72 x 9 x 43in). What would be the best and cheapest way to get the bike to Georgia?

TLDR: should I get a cargo e bike that I could conceivably carry an adult or just one for me?

The details: My E Bike was stolen last summer and I’m finally in a place to replace it. I had a used Lectric XPS folding one. What I liked: - erased hills - speed - pedaling for a lil exercise but not turning me into a sweat machine when meeting friends - Rack for basket for groceries What I didn’t like: - range was 12 miles at best - Couldn’t use it with my husband because he has a normal bike

Current considerations: - No car - We have massive hills where I live - We are frequently in the situation where one of us needs get to a bus stop or get picked up there (bike locker is present so we could leave it there) - We are both 5’4” and 130,150 lbs respectively

I’ve looked at - Tern (very cool but too much $$$) - Lectric Xpedition 2 - unsure how this would handle if I wanted to just casually bike around - Ponto Go - seems like the most relaxing ride but no easy set up for a significant grocery haul

I was plannig on buying a conversion kit and while i was looking to order a battery i noticed 72 V battery have only 20 ah and to me thats pretty low i was hoping to see 25-35 ah nad on 52 V batteries there are options for 25-35 ah batteries. Will range actually be enough.

I have about 1300 usd and I was looking at the macfox x1s and Heybike Saturn are there any other options for about that price point preferably legal and is the macfox x1s top speed really only 20 mph? Lmk

I have been looking at this bike for some time, and according to my research, it’s a pretty good bike. Mostly positive overall reviews. Costumer support has mixed reviews but also mostly positive.

Has anyone owned one from this brand? If so, how has it been? How has costumer support been? And finally do you recommend buying it ?

Epic ground score on the ride into work this morning. JBL Charge 5. Still works despite being left out in the rain last night 🤘. Swapped out the two smaller zip ties for some more hefty ones earlier.

I have a Linus Dutchi 7i that I would like to convert to electric. I am thinking of a Bafang mid-drive motor BBS02B 750W; I am looking for a rear 48v 17.5Ah battery that I can have on the rear rack. I have a lot of big hills, so I feel like this would be the best setup. I would love some input from the community. I was interested in the Chamrider rear model C but can't seem to find it on their website anymore. Would it work to put a Hailong battery on a rear rack? There seem to be more options this way. I would love any photos of Linuses that have been converted!

I just had a bike mechanic look at my brand new bike. I thought there was something seriously wrong with the motor. he told me there was nothing wrong with the motor. but the motor is not what they say. he said that it was no way possible that was an 1800 Watt 110 nanometer motor. and went over several reasons why.

so basically act best is selling bikes on the pretense saying an advertisements 1800 Watt 110 nanometer motor for climbing hills. when in fact it's a 750 watt 50 NM motor..

how can companies get away with this? I understand it's a Chinese based company. but they sell here in the United States.

I've since asked Actbest I want to return the bike because it's not what it's supposed to be.

thinking there was something wrong with the motor. they even sent me a replacement smaller than the one that was on the bike. shady.

so be careful, they might look like other brands but clearly the motors are way off... so much so that I'm saying false advertisement.

Getting one for school have to go around 4 miles

Hi, I’m shopping for my first e-bike and there is a big price difference between legacy bike brands like Trek, Specialized, Gazelle, etc compared to Aventon, Velotric and such. I was looking at one Trek bike and the Bosch replacement battery is $1000. Is the extra expense up front worth it or is it better to buy a new, cheaper e-bike once the motor or battery craps out? I’d be willing to pay more for a bike that lasts, but am unsure of the longevity of e-bikes.

Also, one of the biggest regrets that I see from e-bike owners is that they wish they bought something lighter. Most light bikes that I see in this category have hub motors and I’d really like a mid-drive due to living in a hilly area. Is a lightweight hub the better option or a mid drive that weighs a bit more? I’ve ridden a bike that was almost 60 lbs and I found it to be a bit too cumbersome. My ideal would be a bike from an established brand with a Bosch mid-drive that weighs around 50 lbs or less (including battery weight). Does this exist?
