Epic ground score on the ride into work this morning. JBL Charge 5. Still works despite being left out in the rain last night 🤘. Swapped out the two smaller zip ties for some more hefty ones earlier.

So per the new law i got my e-bike registration done on Monday (July 20th) and rode my bike to work tuesday (July 21st) and after just one day one of my stickers already has a small tear in it, im assuming from the intense storm we had in the state (tornado warning weather) yesterday. Not to mention the stickers themselves are flimsy and anyone can just rip them off with little effort. Sure the damage to the sticker is minimal, but the fact it happened after one day doesn't leave me much hope that it'll survive long enough. Again can't say i'm surprised, at least registering the bike was free.

Help! I’m overthinking it!!

TLDR: should I get a cargo e bike that I could conceivably carry an adult or just one for me?

The details: My E Bike was stolen last summer and I’m finally in a place to replace it. I had a used Lectric XPS folding one. What I liked: - erased hills - speed - pedaling for a lil exercise but not turning me into a sweat machine when meeting friends - Rack for basket for groceries What I didn’t like: - range was 12 miles at best - Couldn’t use it with my husband because he has a normal bike

Current considerations: - No car - We have massive hills where I live - We are frequently in the situation where one of us needs get to a bus stop or get picked up there (bike locker is present so we could leave it there) - We are both 5’4” and 130,150 lbs respectively

I’ve looked at - Tern (very cool but too much $$$) - Lectric Xpedition 2 - unsure how this would handle if I wanted to just casually bike around - Ponto Go - seems like the most relaxing ride but no easy set up for a significant grocery haul

Hey guys, I have a C100 Collective bike with 29' wheels and a 135mm dropout. Im looking for a 1500W 52V Rear hub motor/ conversion kit as I don't mind buying the battery seperately. I was thinking of ordering one from Sailimotor but it wont come it time for the rest of summer. Im in the UK does anyone have any reccomendations for reliable brands. Budget is around £500-£600

Already ordered a disk lock and a U Lock, also plan to bring the battery w me wherever I go if i can

Police don't understand pedalling:

I've always thought this is the best test of whether you truly like a bike. If your current e-bike vanished tomorrow, would you buy the exact same model again? If not, what would you choose differently, and why?

We're out in the suburbs and my daughter's school is only a 5 min drive, which in hindsight is such a short distance to be starting the car for every single day, twice a day, plus whatever grocery runs got squeezed in between. never really thought about it until i started tracking how often i was driving for stuff under 10 minutes.

I actually went to a nearby e-bike store to try a few like rode both the segway muxi and the velotric gomad, which honestly look pretty similar. two things sold me on the segway muxi: i got it for 1600, cheaper than the gomad, and it just felt more nimble and lighter, and the size fit me better. the gomad felt bigger and heavier to me.

For school, I put the passenger kit on the back so my daughter (she's in 3rd grade) can ride with me now. she's under the weight limit for the seat no problem, and ngl she looks forward to it more than the car now, which kind of melts my heart a little. On the bike. It kinda stopped feeling like a chore and started being the good part of the day.

Groceries were the thing i was most skeptical about. I've got the front basket plus the middle basket and somehow a full week of groceries just fits. i genuinely thought i'd still need the car for that part, but I was wrong.

The one thing that stressed me out at first was parking it. We've got a bike shed downstairs but it's not exactly hidden or locked up tight; anyone walking by could mess with it. My husband actually had a bike stolen a while back, so leaving anything in that shed made me nervous. But the app sends a notification to my phone if it gets bumped or moved, and I can see where it is anytime. That alone made me way less anxious leaving it down there. So far so good

Now I genuinely don't wanna get back in the car for this stuff. Yeah. That's it

Happyrun G100 pro- I need to remove this freewheel/ sprocket to move to new hub motor- any suggestions on the specific tools need to do this? I can’t find anything certain online

I recently went on Amazon and I saw the windone rm7 listed for $299 cad I wanted to know if this bike will actually arrive or will they cancel my order it’s been 2 days and not shipped yet. And I noticed the price always changes from $1999 to $300 so sometimes it’s 2k sometimes $300 someone please let me know if this is a scam or not.

What’s the best sub $3000 emtb value? I can get a new Ride1up Trailrush for $1900 or a Aventon Ramblas ADV for $2900 (but on dealership said they could take a couple hundred off the price) just wondering what are people’s thoughts on which one I should get. Looking for something to ride some single track and road use. I want an EMTB that feels natural to pedal and something where I can get some exercise but also keep up with my kids who have class 3 ebikes. Seems like the Trailrush has better/more reliable components but the Ramblas has better frame fit and finish, UL ratings, larger battery, better charger. I don’t think I’ll need the range of the Ramblas but if I do I can buy an extra battery. Anyone out there ride both bikes or have any thoughts on the two. Is the Ramblas worth $800-$1000 more?

Thought of turning my bike electric, looking at a 48V 1500w hub motor kit with a 40A KT controller

I just had a bike mechanic look at my brand new bike. I thought there was something seriously wrong with the motor. he told me there was nothing wrong with the motor. but the motor is not what they say. he said that it was no way possible that was an 1800 Watt 110 nanometer motor. and went over several reasons why.

so basically act best is selling bikes on the pretense saying an advertisements 1800 Watt 110 nanometer motor for climbing hills. when in fact it's a 750 watt 50 NM motor..

how can companies get away with this? I understand it's a Chinese based company. but they sell here in the United States.

I've since asked Actbest I want to return the bike because it's not what it's supposed to be.

thinking there was something wrong with the motor. they even sent me a replacement smaller than the one that was on the bike. shady.

so be careful, they might look like other brands but clearly the motors are way off... so much so that I'm saying false advertisement.
