I am a casual fan. I watched DB years ago with friends who are no longer in my life and am re-watching for the feels.

I just finished Kai (on Disney+). I noticed all the new animation, didn't mind it much, even though the difference is wild.

At the end of Kai, Goku leaves with Uub to train him at his village.

So I take a few minutes to digest what I watched and decided to jump into Super.

Super starts with Goku on a tractor and everyone else seems much younger than they were at the end of Kai.

That bring me to the question .

What happened and I viewing the show wrong?
