I have an automatic Chuck quote generator that pops up a new quote from Chuck at random each day - so far I have almost 700 quotes in the file. I thought it would be fun to share the quote each day on this sub just for sh*ts and giggles - but also to keep this sub active and maybe, just maybe, help convince whoever ends up owning the show's rights to make a movie or put it back on TV or streaming somewhere.
I contacted the mods a week or 2 ago about pinning this thread - but they must not be very active since they haven't gotten back to me yet. Thanks, mods (CIB) for pinning this.
If you want me to continue posting a random quote each day just give it an upvote. Thanks

This is not about me, it is about my spouse.
I kept the last few episodes a carefully guarded secret from my wife so she wouldn’t refuse to watch the show(big happy ending girl). Needless to say it was ridiculously funny to watch someone experience Sarah’s memory loss for the first time, and then realize that the show ends without her explicitly getting it back. I know some people think it’s cool how it ended, but I for one certainly do not, and my wife shared my sentiment.
About time for a movie!

Maybe it's because I'm new to this subreddit, but I notice no one ever mentions Carina. So here is a Mini Anden/Carina appreciation post. One of the most beautiful women of all time, at least in my opinion. And every character that I've seen her portray has been very quick and sharp-tongued which means it comes from the actress. Smart and beautiful, what a combination!

I don't think this team gets enough love, so here's this little video, which in my humble opinion is the best Chuck fan video out there in terms of editing and music! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Just saw this about the new Scrubs reboot https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a73229059/scrubs-reboot-season-2-cast-update/
Come on, lets get one for Chuck!!!

I recently finished the show and I am personally not the biggest fan of open to interpretation endings. I know that sarah will fall in love with chuck again after the kiss. But for me the sad thing was the entirety of 5 seasons of character development on sarah going into vain. It felt like the ending just was not giving. Most of the characters got ending and closure except for chuck and sarah. The show revolved around those two and season 5 felt like it tried to forcefully break them. Constantly it tried to do that. And in ep 11-13 chuck had a few chances to get her memory back but he just couldn't. I really felt those episodes created tension but the show really didn't require a bittersweet ending. Show had a good journey with character growth. And by removing Sarah's journey in the end it just pinches in the heart. It was heartbreaking. Wish there would have been a definite closure rather than an open ending.

There was incredible chemistry between Casey and Morgan!

I apologize in advance if this topic isn't allowed here.
This is a question mainly for the Chuckettes of this sub (but Chuckers are welcome to chime in too): does anyone know of a Sarah Walker makeup tutorial + what products she would use?
I have recently finished one of the best shows of my life, and feel unsatisfied at the ending of Chuck. Mostly because I don't want the series to end, but also because they are just such awesome cast. So I am asking you guys, what do you think it would look like if Chuck had a sixth season and what do you think would happen.
Personally I was thinking to get the sixth season started, a criminal could’ve kidnapped Chuck and Sarah’s child as revenge towards Chuck for killing one of his past enemies. Then that will get Chuck and Sarah back into the spy business. And of course sometime within there it be revealed to us if Sarah has gained her memory back or not.
Edit: Guys I know all good things must come to an end but I’m just wondering what it would look like.

ENG:
For fans who watched it back when it originally aired: I'd love to hear details about how the audience reacted to the hook left by season 2.
What were the theories at the time about the show's future, statements from the writers, what was the audience's reaction, how long did it take for season 3 to arrive?
BR:

“Although, come to think of it, you might wanna bring a sweater with you… because it can get a little nippy out on the water.”
There should be a new series based on Jeff and Lester being professional spy’s and successfully managing to gain Chuck’s trust. All for one huge mission given by Bryce Larkin’s cousin to seek revenge on Chuck for doing something idk what.

ENG:
At this point I'm on the last episode of the second season, which has an incredible pace, by the way, but as a screenwriter I always keep thinking about spinoffs or continuations. Just to be clear, these ideas are purely a flight of imagination and some fun from a fan of the series.
Here are a few of them:
Colonel Casey
This series idea is entirely focused on the most patriotic of spies, Agent Casey. From his early years, his training with Bennett, as well as his relationship with Ilsa Trinchina.
Jenny and Jack
Jenny Burton is one of Sarah Walker's identities. Daughter of con artist Jack Burton, she moves from place to place while running cons with her father, until he's arrested and she's recruited by the CIA.
The series would have a school setting as backdrop, with the central conflict being this teenage girl trying to form bonds while juggling her father's cons and their dysfunctional family.
Maybe a somewhat procedural structure where a new con comes up every week, tied to typical teenage problems.
That would change drastically after her father's arrest, when the show would shift focus to her training and her growth into the Sarah we know.
Codename ORION
What was Chuck's father like before he had to disappear? What were his heroic deeds that, in Chuck, are only mentioned?
"Orion," as we know, is Stephen J. Bartowski, Chuck's father and creator of the Intersect, but before that he was a brilliant college student whose rival, Ted Roark, gets in the way of his plans.
The series would focus on the Ted vs. Stephen dynamic, but with him being just a "regular guy," same as his son — his recruitment by the CIA, his wife (as well as the circumstances surrounding her disappearance), and the path toward becoming Orion.
Buy More
No espionage here :(
The series follows a branch of the Buy More store. In the style of "The Office," we'd follow the day-to-day of the "Nerd Herd" and its crazy employees.
Sales quotas, bizarre dynamics, a weird boss, the threat of giants like Amazon, or internal competition, like the Beverly Hills branch. The protagonist? Big Mike. Here we explore not only his journey to becoming team leader, but also the whole crazy team through the magnifying lens the "workplace comedy" genre can offer.
"When you buy more, you save more. And when you save more, you can buy more. And when you buy more, you save more. It all starts when you BUY MORE."
Jeffster
Ok... this one's about the most problematic and cancelable characters these days. Jeff & Lester. But forget all the weird stuff.
Here's an exercise in imagination.
We have kid versions of Jeff Barnes and Lester Patel, just boys getting into trouble at school, with a bit of a "Home Alone" vibe where kids face problems bigger than themselves, or "Pinky and the Brain" and the foolproof schemes the two of them would cook up together.
Here we'd get a fun, softened-for-today's-times story about how the two of them met, how they formed the band "Jeffster!," became friends, started working together, in a dynamic where Jeff, being older, would befriend Lester after some absurd situation.
I'm also thinking about Jeff and his dysfunctional family context, his mom in prison, his pet ferret... as well as Lester and his Indian heritage, which could be explored.
Making it clear that I know this idea doesn't follow the show's established canon, it would just be cool to see the two of them together, but maybe without crossing certain moral lines...
Hibachi
Ok, I know this will be explored in season three, but so far we know Morgan quit the store to chase his dream of learning the hibachi technique and becoming a Benihana chef in Hawaii. A miniseries, maybe?
That's it!
The heat is on for Morgan. He's in an unfamiliar place, chasing an absurd dream — that's all I need. We'd obviously get a saga about adapting, about the hostility of a kitchen, and the hard road to becoming a Benihana chef, from zero. Better yet, a series to answer the question: Who is Morgan without his friend Chuck?
Spy Test
This one's meant to keep the main show's tone, but expand the universe more broadly — the espionage, the beginning of the antagonism with the "Fulcrum" agency — and bring back secondary characters from Chuck.
This series would focus on a brand-new group. Promising recruits going through CIA/NSA training and assigned to deal with and fight the clandestine spy agency made up of former agents known as "Fulcrum," here in its early years.
General Beckman's character, though younger, would have the job of training these agents.
Chuck (Reboot)
I saved this one for last.
Not that Chuck needs a reboot, but I kept thinking that in a world so full of AI these days, that was a concept already present somehow in the "Intersect."
How would these dynamics play out today if the series were teleported into our present? It's something interesting to think about.
PT-BR:
Jenny and Jack
Buy More
"When you buy more, you save more. And when you save more, you can buy more. And when you buy more, you save more. It all starts when you BUY MORE."
Jeffster

Big Trouble in Little China. Complete box office flop and cult classic was released. Big influence on the series
John Carpenter refused to work with another Hollywood studio and went back to a working on only Independent films because this movie did so badly

the main one that comes to mind for me is the recurring classic “don’t freak out” but i’m interested if there’s any catchphrases, scenes or cliches that are representative of the identity of the show for you? anything that brings back all your favourite memories of Chuck or maybe a tagline from your favourite character.

Okay, he's definitely not a pleasant person, but somehow it felt so over the top that Chuck, Sarah and her friend often referred to him as if he were ugly or repulsive and no woman could possibly be attracted to him.
