“Gone are the days when you can vote Democrat”
As a former attendee of Calvary (through 2019), who watched them platform K1rk (apparently you can’t mention his name here?) during Covid, this is just crazy. Not even giving a chance to people without an R next to their name on the ballot. Wild. Take a look. Link is around 25 minutes.

Hi all, our indoor cat Phoebe hasn’t been seen in a couple of days. We’ve turned the house upside down trying to find her but we’re convinced she isn’t in the house now. With the possibility she got outside, could anyone in the Red Bank/Dayton Blvd area please keep an eye out? She’s extremely sweet but very skittish. We would love to get this baby back home.

Found this little guy running down East Brainerd Road headed away from Morris Hill road, headed towards Westview Elementary. He is black and white, very sweet, and seems to be well taken care of. He came right to me when I stopped my car and sat in my lap on the way home. He was in danger if being hit, so I have him with me. He didn’t seem too thirsty, and he is safe and being well taken care of! Please let me know of this is your little guy! He has very cute and crooked bottom teeth!

Scene: Great Clips’ Northshore (next to Publix) waiting area packed nuts to butts
You: eyes of brown like limpid pools
Me: eyes of red like didn’t sleep last night
Situation: You’re watching video without headphones and making everyone else hear something you think is interesting. I’m sitting right next to you, left eyelid twitching violently as I am forced to listen to some content creator’s attempt at a hype train.
Interaction: I asked politely if you had headphones, and you realized you were being a total ass and muted your audio.
Fallout: Faith in humanity restored, mostly.
Result: I didn’t murder you and leave your corpse for rodents to eat.
Takeaway: If you take speakerphone calls or watch video in public without headphones, you deserve to be fed alive to organisms with dull teeth

Looks like middle of next month they’re gone. Sounds like landlord dispute as the cause.

So normally I’m on here sprouting propaganda for Cinema One, but just looking through this subreddit seems a lot of chattanoogans on both sides of the isle despise wamp. But I was wondering how you guys keep up on the what both candidates believe, I looked at both their pages and seems that they both have to very broad and basic goals, making the school system better, upkeeping roads, developing Chattanooga. Only thing I really see a difference between the two is Herndon is against AI data centers, big thumbs up. I guess my question is, how do you guys keep up with what each candidate believes and wants for Chattanooga and be informed to make the right decision for our community. I have a hard time because a lot of the news about them is paywalled behind CTFS and doesn’t seem to be much more info out there besides Reddit lol.

I'm not as up-to-date with local politics as I should be, but I've noticed this subreddit seems to really dislike Weston Wamp. It's harder to find a lot of information about exactly why he might be a poor candidate online, simply because this is a local election. If any of you who are passionate and knowledgeable about this election and these candidates has a list of (verifiable) reasons why they prefer Mark Herndon to Wamp, I'd definitely be willing to spread the word and encourage my friends to vote. I'm not trying to offload my civic duty of staying informed to y'all; I just assume some of you have reasons that might be harder for me to find on my own.
And of course, if there are those of you who think Wamp is a better candidate than Herndon, I'd be interested in those reasons as well!

Anyone know what the land is being cleared and prepped for on Signal Mountain Rd/Russell Ave. across from the Chattanooga Quick Lube?
Looks fairly sizable, but praying it’s not another fast food restaurant or tire/oil change place.

Hello neighbors! This is Nick over at Cassette. This Saturday (3-9 ) and Sunday (12-6)
we are having a skateboarding yard sale at the shop (3935 St.Elmo Ave). If you or your kids are interested in beginning skating but you’d prefer to forgo the MSRP (typically $200) this is the perfect opportunity. We will have used complete setups starting at $40. We will also have plenty of other items: parts, shoes, shirts, pants, hats etc. hope to see ya!

Hi!! I’m looking for a good place to find two outdoor rocking chairs and maybe a small table with it. Are there any local places I could check out? I’m shooting for something that looks cute but still is affordable. Let me know if y’all have any suggestions!

I went to the Greenway dog park yesterday and met a chick there but I totally blanked on asking for a name or anything as more people and pups showed up! Your black lab's name was Brooks and he got along well with Eurydice (Cece, my shepherd/husky) and it'd be cool to meet you guys again sometime! So if by some crazy chance you stumble upon this and wanna, feel free to DM me!

My husband and I were craving Indian food & wanted to order from sitar, but Google and Apple Maps say permanently closed? I know they were having issues with health code. Is that why they closed? I saw someone previously post it was temporary for renovations. We have tried spice trail and it was lovely, but it was more of a nice date night spot.

Any business owners out there that have a recommendation for a repair company? Specifically cooler and freezer repair and maintenance.

Hi!
Has anyone been referred or seen by Dr.Adair at McCallie Chiropractic? My OB has referred me to him for low back pain in the third trimester of pregnancy. I already have a long and complicated history with low back pain and reoccurring issues. I have big feelings on chiropractors, but I’m willing to give it a shot if it helps me get through these last few weeks. Thanks!

This may be a long shot but since my fb account was shut after being hacked I’ve no where else to search. I’m looking for some fertilized chicken eggs for my broody hen to sit on and hatch. Does anyone have any or know anyone with a rooster willing to part with some eggs? I’m happy to pay or trade for a basket of home grown garden veggies 🥒🍅
My broody girl and I thank you in advance 🐣
