Hey everyone,
Were on a family roadtrip and since you have one of the best Imaxs at your aquarium, we thought we'd give it a try. I havent done unassigned seating in a long time so I wanted to know, is it orderly for showings (Oddessy) or is it like a free for all with people trying to get good seats? Sounds like you line up and then they just kind of let the line in?
Thanks in advance

I am genuinely scared about lay offs since Erlanger announced a 'partnership' with Prisma Health. I looked into them and found 2 mergers they did in the past 5 years. One hospital laid off 700 employees and the most recent laid off 70. I have several family members in various roles at Erlanger and it makes me nervous for them.
If you work there or are in management have you heard anything?

What’s the vibes at bad apple and what’s up with the themed nights? Should I dress in theme?

I was looking at the Lake Winnie wikipedia page today while bored at work and discovered that in 2003 there was reportedly a riot there of 500-700 local kids. Was anyone on here around for that and got any stories from it?

I got a job offer! Now I just have to pass the drug test. I keep reading that BCBST tests for Cotinine during the drug panel. Is this true?
Also, I’m confused because my recruiter mentioned something about “if you don’t smoke nicotine then you get benefits on insurance” when I asked about employee health benefits. So do they or do they not?
I’m on a diuretic and flushing out my system as we speak. I just stopped cold turkey yesterday.
UPDATE:
I just emailed my recruiter and she said they DO NOT test for nicotine anymore.

Now that QuickSurg is closed, is there a similar dermatologist business around where you can just make an appointment, show what you want removed, pay a ballparked fee, and leave?

Hi! Does anyone know how to apply for a job at Amazon. I check the website every once in a while but there are never any openings. Does anyone know if there is another way or if you go in person, sorry if this is a bad question. Thanks

Anyone have a favorite female dentist and/or orthodontist in the city?!

After pregnancy my teeth were destroyed (candy cravings and not brushing enough, normal pregnancy wear, etc). Last year I had some of the needed dental work done and identified a bunch of other spots that desperately need work.
However our dental insurance doesn’t cover very much work in the span of a year and we’re not rich enough to spend 5k+ on dental work- so I’m looking for somewhere that isn’t insanely expensive once insurance stops covering. I paid 1800 per crown without insurance at the practice I was at and I’m struggling to believe that was the cheapest option😅
Open to north GA area reccs as well.
TIA!

Hey all! I know similar questions have been asked but never really touch on Soddy Daisy.
I have a daughter who will be starting kindergarten this fall at CCS because our zoned school is terrible. We want to move so we don’t have to send her and eventually her younger sister to a private school all 12/13 years of school.
On paper Soddy Daisy schools look good, but I’ve heard some weird things about them so I’d love to get more insight.
As far as north GA, we were thinking Ringgold or Chickamauga? Any other districts I’m missing that are good?
My oldest is autistic so I’d love a school that is great about IEPs and won’t let her get left behind, but also won’t pass her just to pass her.

Hey!
Looking for some help with some tools I don’t have and honestly don’t want to buy for single use. I just purchased two 12ft butcher block tabletops with round edges & I want to cut 1/4 off each, rough sand, add biscuits and glue and clamp together.
I need help with or ability to borrow a long track saw. If you or anyone you know has a 100in or longer track saw please reach out to me directly.
Thank you.

Does Marsh Blackburn know she doesn't have the power to deport people or is she just counting on low IQ voters to believe her ads?

Heyo!
I'm considering on moving to TN from the East & on "paper" it sounds like Chattanooga might be perfect. I know, it's getting crowded there & transplants are taking up the land. However, I'm 1 lil person, I wfh & I plan on apartment living (no pets).
My intent is to visit a few times for a couple weeks & months before relocating to make sure.
I really don't wanna spend a crap ton of money for hotels & airbnb's, & the extended stays have bad reviews. So if there's anyone out there who would like a temporary roommate or house sitter please lets chat. I'm flexible in timing.
I'm quiet, low maintenance, tidy, non-smoker, prefer a space w/o kids, & am in my 40's.

Edley's BBQ is really good BBQ.
For context, I know about BBQ. All parts. I was on a whole hog professional BBQ team in Memphis for over 15 years. We smoked a lot of pork. We competed in all categories. I have cooked and consumed enough BBQ for a couple of lifetimes. So much so that I RARELY eat BBQ anymore. I moved to Chattanooga eight months ago and have had Edley's several times now. Always consistent and always good. Great service. It's brought me back to loving BBQ again.
Thank you Edley's

Hi!! I’m looking for a good place to find two outdoor rocking chairs and maybe a small table with it. Are there any local places I could check out? I’m shooting for something that looks cute but still is affordable. Let me know if y’all have any suggestions!
