Genuinely wanna know it it’s possible to beat half cash WITHOUT Monkey knowledge, powers, or losing lives. All the other modes seem totally doable with those restrictions and some skill but I’ve tried half cash on a few different maps and it seems genuinely impossible. Is it possible to beat Half cash without using any out of game bonuses?

For the sake of argument let’s say you’re playing on monkey meadows.

I am playing on casual mode playing technically by myself because there is only me and one person who does nothing. I have read many strategies to win conquested territories like collect relics and banners.

Because of the maps geometry, getting the same placement on the towers every time is easy. but, due to rng, Silas ice column placements change and xx4 ice fracture luck have made me lose so many runs. Once I get past round 50 I have not lost a run, but the amount of times that I have lost on rounds 31, 36, 38, 39, and 49 is unbelievable just to the 2 points of RNG I described.

Honestly, of all the achievements, this one was becoming the most tedious—until I found this video: "Fully Automated BTD6 Sapper Achievement Guide (18 hours) ." My English isn't great, but I still managed to pull it off on my third attempt. To automate it, I used an auto-clicker from *Cookie Clicker*.

As soon as I hit upgrade we instantly lost to DDTs. The upgrade ate too much of our camo detection and there was no way I was going to be able to place a village fast enough. I know this has been said a million times, but if I’m absorbing a legend of the night then I should absorb the camo detection too. Let true sungod not have camo sure, but vtsg should have it built in

Hey! Remember me? The guy who ranted about the console (mainly PS5) version of BTD6? Yeah well I'm back, and I'm here to talk about the Nintendo Switch version. And don't worry about me going off as hard as last time cause I got a phone upgrade so I'm a little bit carefree about it. Remember, this isn't to make fun of anyone. I just want to express my opinions. But anyways, here we go.

First, let's talk about the positives.

One of them being that the switch version is actually pretty much up to date with the new bosses, towers, and maps like I complained about last time. I also like how since it's now on a handheld/console, you can bring it anywhere like a road trip or a friend's house and play it there. It's almost like if you were playing on mobile, but you and someone else can play with each other on the same console if you bring an extra controller. No extra phone or console necessary, which makes co-op more enjoyable honestly. You can't do single joycons but I understand why so no hustle.

Now for the negatives, and... Oh boy...

First, let's talk about how they announced it. Um... So... They didn't. Or more specifically, they didn't OTHER than Twitter. Now idk if they also did on reddit, since I'm one of those people who don't use it that much, but usually when they drop something big like this, they would announce it everywhere like YouTube and Discord. I didn't find out until a week later and that honestly concerns me. I feel like NK needs to promote their games more in general tbh but that's besides the point. Now onto the game itself where... The quality is somehow worse than on PS4/Xbox? You can see that the game is more pixelated, the loading times are slower, and the game even chugs/lags/freezes a bit in places where it shouldn't normally like the achievements screen or rounds even below 200 which isn't great since my upgraded phone doesn't lag until 250+. I've even decided to do some research to see if other people were having the same issue, and yep of course they were. I believe I know the reason why and I think that reason can be fixed by one simple thing. BTD6 is run on the previous hardware of consoles. So like on PlayStation, it's on the PS4 version and has no PS5 upgrade. The same is said with Nintendo where it's only the switch 1 version but no switch 2 upgrade. The PS5/Xbox Series X has been out for almost 6 years now, with the switch 2 being only a year old, and I think it would be easy to just upgrade each version in order to better utilize the more modern hardware for free. I don't imagine it to be too hard, right? Alright, I got some nitpicks, starting with the fact that there's no touch controls for switch. I get not having mouse mode since it's the switch 1 version, but no touch controls? The one thing that the switch is known for? I feel like it would make navigating and placing towers easier if I could be precise with it. Ok, that one was minor, but a major nitpick I have is the fact that they STILL haven't updated the other console ports. Yep, it's still stuck on 32. You cannot imagine the disappointment I had when I decided to check on my PS5, and it still being stuck on 32, while the switch is on a way later version. I swear, I try to give NK the benefit of the doubt, but when I learn that, it really makes me feel like they choose to neglect the other versions which breaks my heart, cause imagine how awesome it would be to be in a party with your friends on console and messing around with bosses or maybe even custom maps you make with each other.

My final thoughts.

My opinions lean mixed, but still on the negative side tbh. I know BTD6 has so much potential going for it on console, but with it kind of being neglected and not play tested enough, it made me realize that maybe I got to let it go, and just play the PC/Mobile versions until they decide to finally make it worth it. But for now, thank you for hearing me rant a second time, and I'll see y'all later if there's an update. Later 🤟.

I noticed that with the perks last season and with the new ones, they just make the game more fun for me.

Example: I've never cared much about this map or Arora but now with this Monkey Star perk, it makes me want to play with her here. Perks were a GREAT idea NK. Keep it up.
