This is from a can of Departed Soles gluten free None Shall Path. These aren't hard chunks. Ive seen similar in hazy IPA's but this is not supposed to be. Is it good to drink?

I love this beer, and all the other brown ales out there don't really scratch the same itch. For example, Brooklyn Brown Ale tastes really like heavy, almost syruppy to me but, the Newcastle is kind of like light and refreshing while still being flavorful.

Are there any other brown ales that are more along the lines of Newcastle?

My grandma always drank PBR. I drink PBR because it tastes good, it’s cheap, and it reminds me of her. There truly is nothing like a cold PBR after work. I love my grandma and I love PBR.

I grabbed a 6 pack of the 16oz cans for old times sake and my god this is an excellent beer for 7 dollars for all 6. I’ve had it within the last year I feel like and it was still the same old lackluster cheap beers but this tastes different.

I was looking forward to trying this and finally saw it at my local store. I picked it up and saw that it was 8 x 8.4 oz cans at $12.99. I didn’t buy it. I got home and did some research. According to SN they put it in smaller cans so that it stays cold so we get full enjoyment and it mimics what the Europeans do. I say BS we’re getting less product for an already premium price. Classic shrinkflation. I’m sure I’ll pick some up someday as I like SN and the pilsner style, so they will eventually win, but I was disappointed to see such a blatant money grab from a brewery I respected.

I mean being from Milwaukee tells the tale. New Glarus is amazing but it's only in Wisconsin. Hamm's on the other hand is TRYING to expand. And it's actually been succeeding! If you're in a state that has it then definitely get it! It's as cheap as Miller High Life but waaay better in my opinion.

I was drinking a hazy ipa and notice a bunch of these things floating around in my beer? What are they? Is it ok to drink them or what? Just was weird to see a bunch of this floating all around when I poured the beer.

All the pale ales ive tasted always have a hint of liqourice at least. Not every single one but the one ive tasted.

This may be a bit of a silly question, but I don’t have the money or time to go out to bars and meet people that often. For me that’s a once a month splurge thing. Maybe that’s an excuse for being introverted, but I love getting a new beer, (all unique singles if at all possible) trying it at home and logging it on Untappd, and I love just talking about beer. Is there ways to make friends in the beer/homebrewing community without going out to bars?

Hi all; curious if anyone knows who the female brewer was at Saint Archer about ten years back? This was the Miramar Road location. Asking because for a brief time, she was making a Scotch ale that was hands down, to this day, the best beer I ever had. I would go in weekly and beg them to bottle it. Miss Saint Archer- awesome t-shirts, too.

I drank a beer from a buddies fridge that was from his hometown that he had been saving for years while i was housesitting and I feel terrible. I didn't realize that it was an old beer he was saving.

I'd love to find a way to replace it if there are any collectors out there or if anyone has any leads. He's not interested in the new branding and really looking to find somewhere to buy the nostalgic version that he liked.

Allagash’s Chocolate Orange Porter Beer Review! 🍫🍊

This one was an interesting one for me! I typically don’t go out of my way for porters as I am more of an IPA, Lager, Ale drinker but I saw this one and thought I had to see what it’s about! I know chocolate and orange together are that combo that people like but I didn’t know how it would mix in a beer. You do get your typical Porter notes with a sweeter coffee upfront, then a rich chocolately following up, then on the backend you get that citrus/orange note. Overall an interesting one and a good taste, but I personally couldn’t drink a lot of these! Worth the try for sure though, especially if this is your usual go to’s!

At 7% this one has a lot of flavor and overall an easy sipper with good cholocate and orange notes!

Hello. There is this brand, Lorelei Brewing, that i am looking for items of it. They were originally established in Corpus christi, but have went out of business. I was wondering if anyone knows where any merchandise from this company is sold, or if someone has some that they are willing to part with?

I am looking for this brand cuz it was one of the first craft beers that me and my mom first drank.

I only started to drink beer regularly last year and i'm not an avid Corona drinker, just every once in a while. But the first couple i tried tasted well, they had a nice 'corn-y' texture, but last 3 i have bought have tasted like shit, like any industrial light slop beer. The store i buy them at is at basement level, so as far as i am concerned sunlight didnt ruin them. 2 of them were brewed in Belgium, 1 imported from Mexico, but same disappointing taste regardless.

Hello everyone, I'm a very unrefined beer drinker. I don't know much about beer beyond the fact that it is the greatest gift given to us by the gods. Anyway, I wanted to know what the general consensus is around people who 'know' their beer about the beers I drink.

- Guinness: My favorite beer. I tend to only drink this when having a nice dinner.

- Stella Artois: This is my go-to beer that I drink most frequently.

- Richard's Red: This is what I'll get a bar if they don't have the above two.

- Labatt Blue: This is what I drink if just want something cheap to drink and I don't care.

Hello all, i recently picked up a pint of Big Bad Baptist Samurai at my local store and i must say. Wow.

I have an odd taste, and i love a very select few very good beers. I can put down any beer but it takes something mind blowing to have me finish it in an hour.

This is easily one of the best beers i have tried to date.

For 13% ABV you can barely tell. Its not annotated on the can and honestly i was extremely suprised to find out its ABV when i googled it.

Mouthfeel is thick but not in that hard to swallow way i sometimes get with very thick stouts.

I honestly 100% purchased this because an Imperial Stout aged in sake barrels was something i was yet to even hear of. Yet i am absolutely blown away by the flavor.

Sweet up front, salty in the middle, sake at the end. And the front and middle last longer than youd expect.

This is probably the only beer ive found here in the midwest that competes with The Lost Abbey beers i loved on the west coast. (Im always open to reccomendations)

What is better out of a Lager shandy and a Bitter shandy, been to 2 pubs recently and heard opposite things, each passionately advocating for the other!
