I saw that Lincoln is leaving Burbank for Canoga Park, but won't say where yet. They mention a larger taproom, event space, and an outdoor beer garden in the new space. I'm wracking my brain where all this could be in CP.

I ended up being in Little Tokyo yesterday with about 90 minutes to kill, so I tried out Arts District Brewing Company. I’m a relatively recent transplant from Georgia and haven’t done too much exploring in this part of town. I saw the shell of Angel City Brewery, which I never got to try, but found Arts District Brewing Company to be really awesome.

I came in during the second half of France vs. Paraguay in the World Cup so the place was busy but not wall-to-wall. I enjoyed the fact that there were cocktails as well as beer, and there were plenty of spaces indoors and outdoors for watching the match and drinking.

I had the Las Perlas de Piña - a pineapple Kölsch- that was outstanding. The bartender mentioned that they don’t brew it often, but on a hot day like yesterday it was outstanding.

The second beer I tried was the Easy Breezy, a golden ale with enough tart lemon to be super refreshing and drinkable. Another standout for the heat.

Overall I thought the vibes and the beer selection were awesome. It seemed like a good mix of folks and I’m eager to try more of their beers the next time I’m back that way.

Went to one of their soft openings this week. Think they’re doing a ribbon cutting at 4pm Friday (5/22), and then will officially be open for drinking business.

The space in Union Station is super cool, their beer is excellent, and I believe they’ll be adding a full bar and kitchen soon.

Really hope this place sticks around.
