Hi everyone, Raphaël here, the developer of Everyday Looper :) !

I originally released Everyday Looper during the early App Store days, back in 2009. Over the years, messages from singers, beatboxers, and loop artists who still used it convinced me to get back to work. So I've rebuilt it from the ground up for today's iPhones and iPads, and the beta is now open :D !

What's in this version:

• 8 tracks you touch directly to mix, mute, merge, overdub, and more
• Pretty decent echo cancellation, so you can actually loop through the speaker without headphones
• Synced video capture of the take, straight from the app
• Per track 10-level undo/redo, speed/reverse, and adaptive track lengths

The demo is by Ty Suite, a long-time Everyday Looper user. It was performed, recorded, and filmed entirely inside the beta on an iPhone, through the speaker, with no headphones.

I'd especially love feedback from people who sing a cappella, since this isn't my area of expertise: would the app be useful as it is, or would it need specific features to properly help a cappella singers?

I can say, unequivocally, without a shadow of a doubt, that this music video is better than the live action Disney Moana film. haha!

Homegirls shot on location; had a fresh new arrangement; zero CGI or green screen; and even matched Disney's focus on Polynesian representation.

Pretty much what the title says. I direct a high school advanced vocal jazz ensemble and I’m looking for SSAATB pieces for our winter concert as we’re very treble heavy this coming school year (8 sops, 8 altos, two tenors, two basses) It’s a performing arts school so the kids are very talented and can handle hard stuff. We're struggling with a money issue (cannot afford original arrangements) but also no creativty. can i buy scores?

I'm trying to do acapella arrangement. Please ignore the garbage engraving and how some of the parts are not easily singable, I'm still working on it need to collect and workshop with the group, and I keep everything broken into eighth notes so I can go back and keep working on it later (bc I suck at Musescore). It's also incomplete so just ignore the last few pages.

My main issue right now is with creativity. I feel like I'm not being creative enough, and I'm just transcribing from the original instead of really adding a lot of my own flourishes to it. I'm stuck in this rut and I'm trying to get inspired from things on YouTube but this just feels like very generic, basic music. I'm not a composer whatsoever, I'm just taking the role on because we don't have an arranger. I'm in high school with 0 formal music training, though I've been trying to teach myself. I do choir and that's my wheelhouse, singing the arrangements, not making them lol. please help...

I’ll be honest, I’m not much of a singer but I do love listening to acappella music, something about the way that different human voices can come together to create something so beautiful intrigues me. Are there any discord servers specifically around discussion of acappella arrangements, compositions and suggestions.

I’m in the process of planning a retreat for a college a cappella group, and I’m trying to build a schedule that feels intentional, balanced, and not just “rehearsal all day until everyone is completely drained.”

This is my first time organizing something like this, so I’d really love to hear what other groups typically include in their retreat schedules, especially things that actually help with both musical growth and group bonding.

Right now I’m thinking: - Full group rehearsals (music + blocking/visuals) - Sectionals / voice part work - Section bonding time - Some kind of team-building activity or game night - Goal-setting / vision session for the semester or year - Downtime so people don’t burn out

But, I feel like I’m missing that “glue” that makes retreats feel meaningful instead of just a long rehearsal day in a different location.

If your group has done retreats before: - What did your schedule look like? - What actually worked well vs. what didn’t? - Any traditions or activities that made it memorable? - How do you balance productivity with rest and fun?

Would really appreciate any sample schedules or ideas. I want people to leave feeling energized and connected, not just tired.

I can't believe this was already five years ago.

I heard that OZMSR will be releasing a new song soon. I heard they started working on the release during an Instagram live broadcast. Whether these songs will come out in the rhythm of 2021 or not, I hope these songs will be officially released as well.

We hope to see you THIS SATURDAY NIGHT at our 2026 Spring Concert!  Our group has grown to 20 people strong and we are doing an extensive repertoire covering rock, pop, jazz, country, Broadway, even some K-pop!  Something for everyone!
