20 yrs ago! I attended my first SDCC with my aunt and uncle (who attended the early 70's SDCC; so I was in good hands as an early 20yr old who had never been to one. (I just went onto the website the day the passes released and just ordered the three day pass, too easy) I remember arriving a bit late and just walking right in and went to a Superman panel that talked about Superman Returns and Superman II the Donnor cut. I got to see Jim Lee in a small room panel with Grant Morrison and Gail Simone and Adam Brody. Jim passed out donuts to the front rows. I remember seeing Liefeld just talking at a table about bad ass Cable and seeing Todd McFarlane just walking around the floor. Good memories. (wish I had bought a few Invincible #1's and Original Art back then. :-)

Hi! I won a Friday exclusive with a wristband pickup before 9am.  My Comicon badge was mailed to me and i have it. The badge is valid for Friday and Sunday. I have a kid and need to register her for both of those days. So i don't have to deal with the anxiety of two enormous lines Friday morning (reg and wristband), I'm thinking about registering my kid tonight (Wed)? Is that possible?  

Don't want to make a trip downtown tonight if it's all for naught.  Thanks in advance. 

So my friend forgot his badge and hes 6 hours away already driving. Where can he pick up a replacement badge? All I see online is on site but thats very vague. Please help.

What time would everyone suggest getting into the line today for entry? I have my pass and there a few con exclusives I’m looking to pick up.

It’s my first SDCC and I’ve been seeing that you need to be early for pretty much everything. I’m wanting to go to the Gundam panel at 10:30 tomorrow in room 6BCF. What time should I try to get there by to make sure I can get into the panel? Thanks!

If you're looking for cheap food, the app Too Good To Go has some options. The deals have specific pick up times and pick up locations arent always conveniently located, but you can get a couple slices of pizza or a sandwich meal for $6-$7

It will be my first attempt in attending a panel and I hear getting in line 3-4 hours early will help your chances, but will it really? What should I do if I want an in for this?

Where/when will they be giving out wristbands? I remember seeing that it’s 10 am on Thursday but where? My plane lands a bit after 9, I want to attempt to get it before going to my hotel to drop off the bags

I bring cash to set myself a spending limit but everybody’s going cashless these days. Anybody know? Is it a mix at least or just no point to bring cash?

Does anyone know if they let you pick up someone else bag and lanyard if you have their badge? There’s a bunch of flight delays so wanted to just take care of it for my group so we don’t miss getting them today and have to sacrifice time tomorrow.

Hey guy, just landed in LA X from Melbourne and am heading to San Diego. Debating going straight to the convention centre to grab tickets and passes and then dropping them back to my accom, or going there first to shower drop off luggage.

Just wondering how many hours it will take to grab the tickets?

Hey all, first time at SDCC. I downloaded the app and have found it's not only tough to navigate, but also some of the panels they've listed are wrong? Hall H on Saturday at 5:30 says it'll be Demon Slayer instead of saying that it's Marvel - as every other website has reported. Also, my friend is doing a panel that's supposed to be Friday night at 7pm but the app has it listed as Saturday the 26th at 5:30 (the 26th is a Sunday lol). Just wanted to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong here?

I searched and only found events from last year. Anything going on this year? I will be in cosplay and don’t plan to change afterwards so just wondering what’s going on this weekend afterwards 🤘

Hey guys, just had a question especially for any locals. I got Hilton bayfront parking this year and the consensus is that coming from the south might not be an option considering road closures in Barrio Logan/harbor?

I have an experienced contact telling me that if we show traffic control we have Hilton parking we can cross harbor from the north.

Is there a better/easier way to get to the garage? I can navigate to come from either north or south

I've always just got into the Everything Else line which enters the hall around Artist's Alley and then hot footed to the booths I needed to get to. I know the line over by the Sails Pavilion lets you in around the middle but is that line let in at the same time? The Everything Else line tends to start letting people in early.
