Went to go pick up my phone charger from my truck, someone left a beer and a pin, that says thank you for choosing the imperial empire along with 50.00 cash. I'm parked at Manchester hayatt, you literally paid for my parking for the day. Thank you.

Hey guy, just landed in LA X from Melbourne and am heading to San Diego. Debating going straight to the convention centre to grab tickets and passes and then dropping them back to my accom, or going there first to shower drop off luggage.
Just wondering how many hours it will take to grab the tickets?

What time would everyone suggest getting into the line today for entry? I have my pass and there a few con exclusives I’m looking to pick up.
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're looking for cheap food, the app Too Good To Go has some options. The deals have specific pick up times and pick up locations arent always conveniently located, but you can get a couple slices of pizza or a sandwich meal for $6-$7

SD local here.
I won a Friday exclusive with a wristband pickup before 9am. My Comicon badge was mailed to me and i have it. The badge is valid for Friday and Sunday. I have a kid and need to register her for both of those days. So i don't have to deal with the anxiety of two enormous lines Friday morning (reg and wristband), I'm thinking about registering my kid tonight (Wed)? Is that possible?
Don't want to make a trip downtown tonight if it's all for naught. Thanks in advance.

It’s my first SDCC and I’ve been seeing that you need to be early for pretty much everything. I’m wanting to go to the Gundam panel at 10:30 tomorrow in room 6BCF. What time should I try to get there by to make sure I can get into the panel? Thanks!

First timer in san diego. Yesterday we went to the zoo, definitely was enjoyable. Monday we walked ALOT after our flight into here. We're trying to save our legs for the con days and not be too beat. Contemplated e bikes to explore the town but not too sure of what exactly to do or explore other than the offsites happening today, which we wouldn't really need an ebike for. Any thoughts? Not worth it? Or absolutely get it and go see something? If so, what are the somethings? TIA

I was supposed to fly out at 5 PM EST today but my flight was cancelled & pretty much every flight out of the NY/NJ airports are cancelled until at least Thursday morning. The earliest non-standby flight I could book gets in at 12:41 PM so by the time my friend picks me & I drop my stuff off I’ll already have missed half the day. And I only have badges for Thursday & Sunday. I doubt SDCC will do anything to help make it up for those who are going to be missing time from the convention because of the tornadoes & storms. Just incredibly frustrating.
Update: I was able to rebook my flight so that I get into John Wayne at 5 PM today. Fingers crossed there’s no more delays or cancellations. I’ll just ride with my friend & her GF to SD once she’s done with work. Just have to stop by the SD airport to pick up my bag since it was able to get there at 3 AM this morning.
I bring cash to set myself a spending limit but everybody’s going cashless these days. Anybody know? Is it a mix at least or just no point to bring cash?

I unapologetically love breakfast buffet options. Outside of hotels, we don't really have any inexpensive ones in sd.
I plan to get downtown very early each day. I don't mind paying to eat at a hotel. This question never really gets many answers in our local subreddit because locals don't really stay in the hotels to know.
So who better to ask than comicon guests staying in hotels? Please let me know!
Thank you!

Hey guys, just had a question especially for any locals. I got Hilton bayfront parking this year and the consensus is that coming from the south might not be an option considering road closures in Barrio Logan/harbor?
I have an experienced contact telling me that if we show traffic control we have Hilton parking we can cross harbor from the north.
Is there a better/easier way to get to the garage? I can navigate to come from either north or south
