I am a big postcrossing fan, but I always end up buying more cards then I can send. Please take them from me! I am low(ish) on stamps, so the first 30 (US) to sign up will receive a card from me. I can send 5 globally, so first 5 there as well. I have a wide variety of cards, so feel free to put a preference in the form. I have a lot of random things, so if you have a special interest not in my list add it in the form too. Here is a non-comprehensive list of things I can offer:

Hi there!! I discovered I accidentally brought 10 forever stamps with me on my trip to visit family in Georgia (stuffed in the pocket of one of my sweatshirts, in true stamp obsessed fashion haha). That means, while I will be slightly overpaying, I can send out some GA postcards 🤩. (For the non-US cards, I will send those out next week once I’m home and have access to more stamps!)

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I wish we could do Halloween year round! I would love it if anyone wanted to send me a Halloween card. I know, its not quite that time yet, but I plan on starting a Halloween All Year Long Junk Journal soon, so I'd love to start collecting some Halloween cards for it.

Bonus points if the card combines Halloween with another holiday or time of year. Like a ghost wearing a Santa hat or something.

A few days ago, I heard from a friend in central Delhi that Indian police were brutalizing both peaceful student protestors and civilians. I was aware of the NEET & examination irregularities for the past month, but not of the recent police escalation and violence. My friend has told me she is too scared to even walk on the streets of Delhi in fear of police brutality. Indian Police have also enacted Penal Code 153 and 163, and communications blackout across Central Delhi.

I completely understand the fear and rightful anger in Delhi and across India at the government.

Some of you will remember, last spring I helped to clear the belongings of a woman in our Unitarian Fellowship after she passed at 105 years of age. Among her things, there were hundreds of postcards from all sorts of places she visited. I saved them so they could be sent out in her memory.

Mae Woods Bell, age 105, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina left the earth on Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023. Mae was born in the UK, lived in Canada, New Mexico, and California before settling in Rocky Mount in 1951. Mae lived a full and consequential life. She was the founding and longtime Director of the Rocky Mount Children’s Museum, a founding member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Rocky Mount, a Twin County Hall of Fame inductee (2010), recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine (2017), and many more accolades. She was a poet, a reader, a maker, a teacher, an explorer, ever curious, and an unflagging servant to her community. Today TB was selling enchritos 5 for $5. So of course we got 10 of them. I have 7 in the fridge & we ate 3 at the restaurant.

Normally I get a Mexican Pizza combo with hard shell tacos. The enchrito was good. But since enchiladas are easy to make at home I probably won’t get it next time. I don’t go to Taco Bell often but I’m always happy when I do.

Hello all! My Daughters 14th Birthday is coming up on August 27th. I would like to surprise her with a stack of cards from all over the World to help her celebrate.

A little about her…….My little theater kid, that is a quite a social butterfly, that has never met a stranger. She is kind to everyone, always helpful, and she always seems to have a kind compliment for every random person she walks by.

She is the kind of kid who wants to learn EVERYTHING about our world, and wants to try something new all the time. This summer she chose to try to learn how to play the guitar. When she wants something her dedication is truly inspiring.
