I had some bad experience looking for platonic male connections on here. One nothing sexual happened strictky platonic and he said very misogynistic things about women hiding behind makeup and hair and being ugly but degrading men underneath that. He was in a 17 yo relationship and was very bitter. He said he’s looking for female friends which should’ve been a red flag.

He also said women ruin things form the bible. He was around 37

Another one I met is around that same age and was even worse I met a few months ago. He basically compared me to his ex and picked me apart saying she wore her hair natural , looked good in house clothes , and would be great sexual. Also said he will never feel the same way about a woman like her or marry another woman. He agreed to a fwb that I wanted after I decided I wanted something sexual. But I said no strings attached. He’d constantly bring up other women he was speaking to on Snapchat ask me relationship questions while degrading me and critiquing my shoes, hair and outfits. He even critiqued my room when he visited.

I honestly want to know if anyone has this experience with sexism and misogyny when seeking male friends. I’m just a bit scorned and bitter . Not to mention the verbal abuse I had from the second person. I had to block him on everything which was traumatic. I was gaslighted and said I was too sensitive about the comments.

Wondering anyone’s experience with men in this sub. Seems like single men are pretty scorned and may want people to audition. Didn’t know this was a thing.
