MOD POST Rule update: No Political Discussion 📢

Hello, lovely stamp friends! 💌

I know we are all passionate about our beliefs, whatever they may be. However, [r/StampEmUp](r/StampEmUp) isn't the place to discuss or debate them.

From time to time, stamps or mail may touch on historical or current political topics. Those items are absolutely welcome to be shared. We simply ask that discussions remain focused on the stamps themselves—their design, postal history, or other hobby-related aspects—rather than political opinions or debates.

This includes discussions about political parties, politicians, elections, government policies, and other politically charged topics, regardless of the viewpoint being expressed.

At [r/StampEmUp](r/StampEmUp), we respect that everybody has their own beliefs. This community is intended to be a neutral space. We're here to bond over our love of stamps and mail, regardless of our beliefs.

Political opinions or political debates shared in posts or comments will be removed. Repeated or deliberate violations of this rule may result in a ban.

Thank you for helping keep this community friendly, welcoming, and focused on the hobby.

If you have any questions or concerns, please message the mod team, via mod mail.

Happy stamping! 💌

Discussion Please keep stamps front & center

Hello stamp friends! 😊

We’re so glad you’re sharing your mail with the community.

Just a little reminder, While mail art is always nice to see, this subreddit is all about stamps, so they should be the star of every post.

If you’d like to include the back of an envelope or postcard, that’s totally fine—just please add it as the second slide so stamps remain the main focus of r/StampEmUp.

Thanks for helping keep this space organized, stamp-centered, and enjoyable for everyone! 📬✨

Really enjoying these balloon stamps - I love blue so the background of them speaks to me and I find them so fun! I have two full sheets from recent purchases so it’s nice to be able to feel like I can use them freely 😂

Outgoing Mail Beginning to appreciate stamps!

Recently began postcrossing and ordered a bag of vintage stamps off eBay. So fun to use them, especially for folks who appreciate them. Postage is quite expensive in Canada so it means the stamp math is complicated and lots of stamps are used!

i bought these pre-stamped vintage postcards from a local collector recently & they're blank on the other side, so i decided to decorate them with art!

i used a style that resembles some letterpress printed art i recently came across & love how it turned out

the 3 stamped sides you can see are (top) 6c, (middle) 8c, & (bottom) 6c - the first US postcard adapted to commemorate its 100th anniversary 1873-1973

I couldn't help buying this sheet, because it's one I hadn't seen before, and I've been interested in photography since I was 11.

Last for a while because my folders are overflowing with stamps and my bank account is underfunded.

I wish the explanations weren't on the back of each stamp to be hidden in obscurity with use.

OK, so some coming and going mail, purchases from the post office within the Postal Museum (on the bed), and a very random eBay auction of all partial sheets/books.
