Using Deskflow to share keyboard/mouse between my Linux desktop and Windows laptop. The tablet is mainly used for monitoring, YouTube, and extra screen space.

The only Windows apps I still use are Creality Slicer and FrostWire since they don't work properly on Arch. Everything else I need is done on Linux.

I also use USB/IP and Syncthing across both systems for sharing devices and keeping everything synced.

Still trying to figure out a proper way to use the tablet as a secondary display with keyboard/mouse input.

No MiniLEDs are available in my country, I have shortlisted these two monitors(both are the same price). Which one is the best for gaming, vibrant colors, watching movies? And any other suggestions?

I know this question has probably been asked multiple times here, but I just want to make sure.

My 24″ 1080p monitor completely broke down after less than 3 years of use and now I'll probably need a new one. I keep hearing that my RX 9060 XT 16GB is perfectly fine for 1440p, but my main issue is that I don't want to lose out on high fps. I've also heard that 1080p in 2026 is a bit of a waste of money but still.

I play mainly story games and I know that high fps isn't mandatory in them but I still enjoy the smoothness I get in 1080p.

My budget is tight but it seems like 1440p isn't too expensive so I guess that's not really a problem. I also don't know how fast I will get used to the bigger 27″ panel.

Ive been playing on a huge samsung 60hz 1080p tv for a while and its time to get a monitor.I play games like Cs2,Dayz,Gta 5,rdr,im worried about two thing the size if the 24 inch is too small or 27 might feel to streatched at 1080p as I heard from some and is it even worth getting these since I prob wont hit 200 fps to use the 200hz,im runing rx5600xt 6gb,ryzen 5 3600x so im asking for help

Hey guys, I bought this monitor a year before and while I was playing last of us I was seeing some of this light on the darker parts. I was seeing darker parts somewhat lighter in this area. Is this backlight bleeding or just ips glowing?

I've been staring at the same 27" 4K monitor for years, and lately I've been wondering if it's time to move up.

Most of my day is spent in Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere. I'd rather hear from people who've lived with a 6K monitor for a while than watch another sponsored review.

I'm looking for a reliable, budget friendly OLED monitor, mostly for gaming (mostly Xbox an PS5) but I would like to also watch a movie or work on it from time to time. I also watch a lot of YouTube.

Currently I'm using a 26 inch IPS monitor. I don't know much about monitors, but from what I understand OLEDs have best colors and are overall the best option for both visual quality and clarity.

I have couple models in mind:

Samsung Odyssey G8 LS27FG816SUXEN - for about 620 euros/710 dollars

AOC AGON PRO AG276UZD - for about 550 euros/630 dollars

GIGABYTE MO27U2 - for about 650 euros/740 dollars

Which one of these you think would be the best? Or maybe are there any better models?

I’m looking to upgrade to a 27" 1440p OLED monitor primarily for gaming and some work use, but I’m getting a bit overwhelmed by the options and panel generations.

I was initially looking at budget models like the MSI MAG 274QP X24, but I've heard its QD-OLED panel is heavily limited in brightness (200 nits SDR / 400 nits peak HDR) and struggles to deliver a proper HDR . I'd definitely prefer something that hits the standard 250 nits SDR and 1000 nits peak HDR.

Here is what I'm looking for:

• Size/Res: 27" and 1440p.
• Refresh Rate: Looking for high refresh rates (240Hz, 280Hz, or higher).
• Environment: My room gets a bit bright. I know about the QD-OLED "raised blacks" purple tint in ambient light, but I'm trying to weigh that against WOLED text clarity/fringing issues.
• 4-500 euros

(pc specs: 5070ti, i7-14700k)

Would love to hear your hands-on experiences. Is the text fringing on QD-OLED noticeably worse than the blurry text on WOLED panels? How do they actually hold up in a moderately lit room?

​Hey guys, I need some serious advice on how to deal with Flipkart. During the recent Goat Sale, I scored an absolute steal: a MarQ 24-inch 2K 100Hz monitor for just ₹4,400 (usually costs well over ₹12k).

​When it arrived on July 6, the display was defective—massive screen bleeding and 3 dead pixels. I immediately raised a replacement request on July 7, which Flipkart accepted. They promised a technician would visit in 2–3 days to approve the swap.

​Instead, I got hit with an endless 15-day delay. My return window closed on July 13 while customer care repeatedly gave me the scripted "the technician will visit today" response.

​Yesterday, the technician finally called me, but instead of inspecting the monitor, he demanded an OTP so he could cancel the request from his end! I refused, asked why he hadn't shown up for two weeks, and he just hung up on me.

​Today, I checked the Flipkart app and saw they unilaterally changed my replacement request to a refund, with a pickup scheduled for tomorrow.

​Here is the problem: I don’t want a refund. The product page has completely vanished from Flipkart, meaning the stock is likely gone. I cannot buy any other 2K monitor for ₹4,400 ever again.

​Should I refuse the pickup, keep this defective monitor, and try to fight for a partial discount/cashback? Or should I hand it over for the refund and just pray they don't scam me on the money? Has anyone dealt with this forced refund/OTP scam loop before?

Hi there! I'm planning on upgrading my monitor. I right now use an old Lenovo L24e-20, and my goal is to get one with huge color improvement, fast response time (I'm a composer and need frame-perfect synchronization) and the ability to pivot in vertical for reading scores. Furthermore, the panel for my laptop has a really good color, so it'd be ideal if they could match - the difference between screens right know is upsetting! (Below my computer specs). I don't really care about Hz since for film the standard is 24fps, so anything higher than 30Hz I don't really see the point hahahaha sorry gamers!

I've come up with the ASUS PA279CRV, on a deal right now I can get it for 345€. Do you have any experience with that one? Maybe suggesting any better option? Thank you very much!

When "Automatically manage colour for apps" is disabled in Windows 11, I notice significant colour banding, particularly in dark mode, which is what I use most of the time.

I'm using a curved gaming monitor that I believe has a wide colour gamut. The display is currently running in 8-bit mode, but I've also tried enabling 10-bit output and the banding remained, so that doesn't appear to be the cause.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a way to fix it?

I don't really know how else to title this post. I am looking for dual monitors to connect to my thinkpad. I have seen a setup where you can connect your laptop to monitors via USB and get power at the same time. The cable was connected directly to the monitors, so you don't need any hub in between.

The problem is, I have no Idea what this is called. Every time I try to look it up on the internet I get recommendations for USB hubs. But what if buying dual monitors with included USB connection is cheaper than buying both seperately? I have no Idea since I am not a hardware guy.

Does anybody know what I am talking about? If so, what is it called? Is it cheaper than buying monitors and hub seperately?

Hi all, I recently upgraded my computer and I was looking at some of the latest oled monitors and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this model or the previous model.

I run a system with an Astral 5090 and Ryzen 7 9850X3D. I play Marvel Rivals and a lot of AAA story games like Crimson Desert, Death Stranding 2, etc. i’m really looking for the best of the best right now to go along with my PC which’ll hopefully last another 5 years at the minimum.

I don’t play multiplayer competitively enough to warrant the 1080p 480hz like some other models have. I’d love to have that feature but from what I read about QD-Oleds vs WOLEDS is that they have better color accuracy and generally look better? I think that’d be my choice for most of the games I play, not to mention I don’t really like the idea of losing sharpness using 1080p on a 32in panel.

I’m coming from a M32U by Gigabyte I got back in 2021. This’ll be my first Oled model from a none “budget” brand and could use some advice if this is a good choice or not after doing my research on the current market and panel types. I’m also curious if buying monitors at full price is usually a good idea, like is it possible this monitor will go on sale this holiday? I appreciate any advice or thoughts anyone has, cheers!

I literally just got this thing in the mail today. set it up did everything just to plug it in turn it on to find out it doesn’t even work. The LED power indicator in the middle is the only thing that turns on. I tried to troubleshoot everything. Am I cooked? So pissed off I don’t understand how this happens fresh out the box.

I've been going back and forth on 4K monitor upgrade options for a while now. I'm currently using an old 1440p Dell S2721DGF which is still working well for me (daily use: mostly productivity/coding for several hours, with occasional gaming for an hour or two every day or every other day). Budget: $300-600 (Canadian). Bare minimum needs: 4K with at least two HDMI 2.1 ports, 1ms or less response time. Doesn't have to have insane refresh rates, just needs to do 120Hz. Decent contrast and HDR performance would be ideal.

I've ruled out OLED (too expensive to buy just for gaming, home office is too bright to handle reflections, don't want to deal with text fringing or burn in, etc), so I've been looking at various 4K miniLED options. Unfortunately, though, it seems like opinions on the monitors in my budget are very divided...

I've been looking specifically at the AOC U27G4XM, MSI MAG 274UPDF E16M, and the KTC M27P6. These all seem to use the same dual mode panel with 1152 zones. I'm seeing plenty of positive reviews on Amazon and on this subreddit as well, along with plenty of worrisome reviews (dead pixel lottery, severe blooming, awful black crush, subpar local dimming, dying after a few months of use, etc.)

Is this panel just too risky of a buy? Would I better off waiting a year or two for affordable 4K miniLED monitors with better local dimming? Or should I just forget about getting good contrast with an IPS panel and focus instead on getting the best standard 4K IPS I can get within my budget?

Hello, I've bought an ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL5A. It's an IPS panel, and I'm not sure I'm happy with it.

I've spent a few days tweaking the colors to compare it to my second IPS monitor (Lenovo Full HD). I thought I would be impressed after switching from a 144Hz TN monitor, but I'm not. My eyes hurt, and the difference in colors is jarring. I know my old monitor had even worse color reproduction, but I simply got used to it over the last 6 years.

Let me know if I should stick with this ASUS, or if it's better to spend a bit more and get a Tandem OLED like the LG UltraGear 27GX700A-B or the Gigabyte MO27Q28G (unless you have a better recommendation).

I'm planning to upgrade my Samsung SyncMaster from 2007 and I'm stuck.

I mostly use my PC for work, studying, and watching videos on youtube.

I sometimes play games, but not too often, and even more rare for me to play FPS game. For FPS games I use my laptop's built-in 165 hz monitor(i have a dual monitor setup. A built-in one, and an external SyncMaster)

So what this comes down to:

I'm hesitant, because on the 32" monitor due to the size and resolution I lose a lot of pixel density, but get very smooth animation thanks to the 180hz.

On the other hand, on the 4k 27" i get a very nice pixel density, but 60 hz.

For 32" I'm considering 32" Samsung Odyssey G5 G50F.

I haven't chosen a 4k model yet.

So please, tell me what will be more pleasant to use for work in your opinion?
