hi! i was front and center barricade at the show in tinley park on saturday, wearing wes’s red and grey sweater from 1997.

what im looking for is right after the show ended, wes threw some picks into the pit randomly, but came to me and crouched down to give me one specifically. he pointed at me and stayed to make sure i got it secure and then walked off. if anyone has a video of this, no matter the quality, i would be so so grateful. thank you <3

also after a couple songs, he pointed and nodded at me, and fred and i were yelling at each other before my generation. if anyone has footage of that please let me know! (photo for reference of where i was haha)

i was pinned against the front barricade for the denver show at empower field & right after the set fully ended while the sun was setting fred came down the steps right in front of us, held my chibi version, and me and my friend got to touch his arm

i don't know my exact spot on the floor, but i was on the north side right in front of the staircase there. i have a photo from the day of the show with the drawing while i was in line so you can see what it looked like. my friend right next to me was wearing a purple shirt and a red cap, with dark brown long hair(?) and i had dark brown frizzy-ish hair and was wearing basic khaki jorts and a black shirt and we both got to touch his arm. did anyone standing behind or by the rail catch this interaction on their phone? i'm dying to find the clip. thank you

I feel like this is probably the best place to ask because hopefully someone might recognise this. The photo is from ~20 years ago, and I’m pretty sure it came from a charity shop (thrift store) within a year or two before that, so it’s that old at a minimum. For personal and sentimental reasons I would really, really like to track one down.

If memory serves I don’t *think* it had anything on the back, but I’m definitely not positive on that. I’d really like to find either a medium or large, but even finding exactly what to search for to try and find one in the future would be a massive help. I haven’t been able to find it just googling, but I could have been searching the wrong things.

•The Stampede of the disco Elephants album from 2012-2013 was never realesed album. Fred Durst repeatedly said it was almost finished, but it was delayed over and over again.

•The title Stampede of the disco Elephants was confirmed by the band and was meant to represent Limp Bizkits chaotic wild energy.

•,,Ready to go” was realesed as the albums lead single in 2013. Despite the singles release, the full album never came out.

•Wes Borland later revealed that the band recorded huge amout of material, but Fred Durst was never completely satisfied with the vocals. They kept rewriting recording, and replacing tracks, which ultimately prevented the album from being released.

•Several songs were recycled years later. For example ,,Dad Vibes” was originally written during the Stampede recording sessions but was released on Still Sucks (2021)

•,,Out of Style” also has roots in the Stampede era. It evolved from am earlier demo know to fans as ,,Wasteoid”

•The complete album has never leaked. Although some demos, snippets, and live versions exists online.

•Very few studio photos or behind the scenes videos exists. Band kept the recording proces unusually private, which has added to the album’s mystery.

That’s pretty much all the point I wanted to make. Im sitting in my truck listening to his catalog for the first time, and I feel like they’d make something epic.

the whole stuff with her and wes has been bothering me, like all i know is that, correct me if im wrong, they were highschool sweethearts? her and wes were married for a couple years and then they divorced, ive heard its because she was using him for money or something but thats all ive heard about it so i wouldnt trust it honestly. theres not really anything about her out there, which i mean, fair enough its her life. im just curious as to why they divorced and what they were like!! if anyone has any info or videos that would be cool.......

Went to Summer of 99 Fest last night, great show! The stage set was a bunch of cassette tapes, fun backdrop. I'm trying to figure out which tape/album is next to RUN DMC. Is all black with a white top and bottom stripe. Any ideas?

That album felt like it was his. The underrated opening basslines on clunk just feels SO goddamn dark and heavy, especially leech, sour, and stink finger.

Don't forget fred. He was going absolute bat balls on leech and pollution.

Hi guys, can we talk about this album ?
Becouse this album is just existing without any bigger attention. The album is distinguished by Its lyrics, in which the power of church and politics are critized. There is only seven songs in the album and for me only The key and The channel are mid songs.
Other five songs are peak. But in 2005 the album was having zero propagation.
And Wes Borland said ,,it was self-sabotage”
Also band never started making part 2, maybe becouse of unpopularity of fist part.

(For context: I was thinking it would be a fun experience re-imagining Break Stuff as a happy song, since it originally is so violent and aggressive. And then I took it a step further and made some sort of hyper ironic LGBT anthem as a contrast to the MACHO vibe in this track. I do not mean to ‘diss’ homosexuality in any way — This whole joke started between me and my best friend who is fabulously gay, and he sorta gave me a pass on posting these lyrics, telling me that really it’s more of a diss towards homophobia and toxic macho-culture, which I am totally fine with lol. I hope this lands well with all the old-school Limp Bizkit fans in here, please understand that this is just for fun and laughs.)
