Any ideas why people sit in the aisle seat? Why can’t you move over instead of everyone having to wait for you to get up so someone can sit in the window seat so you can remain in the aisle. Genuinely interested.

Was crossing the street and a blue Ford pickup truck was driving towards the pedestrian crossing. The driver, instead of stopping continued going and intentionally swerved towards me to scare and then kept going. I got the plate but don’t know if Hoboken PD will do anything about it. Be careful out there. Some crazy drivers.

Hoboken property taxes have been posted online for the current year. Property taxes have increased by 25%. The Hoboken Mayor and the entire City Council needs to be voted out. A real Mayor needs to go into City Hall and clean house and get rid of all the bloated staff. Emily is not that person. She loves to spend other people’s money. Remember, she pushed that ridiculous new high school on us.

These trees and overgrown bushes behind the fence in my backyard are harboring 100s of lantern flies and it’s getting out of control. I assume they’re tree of heaven that they’re feeding on. Anyone who know within the city I could contact about potential getting these taken care of? Not sure who’s responsible for them since they’re inbetween the fence lines…

I’ve been going to Project Sculpt and enjoy their strength exercises, but the studio always feels so cramped and I can’t get the weights suitable for me for some key exercises because they are taken. Good for them for having such good business, but the crowdedness makes me dread going! Does anyone have recommendations for similar strength focused classes in Hoboken at a studio that feels less crowded?

To parents: do any of you know of any child psychologists and/or psychiatrists who help with anxiety, OCD, and learning disabilities in the area? My 8 year old worked with a great team affiliated with Mount Sinai in NYC. But I can’t keep making the hike up there every week.

My gf lived in 100 Marshall for a year and had her car egged twice while parking in the same spot. We thought nothing of it until my buddy recently had his windshield broken from a bottle that looked to be thrown. A bit of a rant; what is it with young entitled people in this town. A young woman riding on the sidewalk came up behind me just as I was walking now, no warning no bell , hit me and my dog and continued on, without an apology. When I asked what exactly was wrong with her the answer was “you should pay attention when you’re walking”. I think we need to have serious conversation about bikes on the sidewalk in this town. There are enough bike lanes now. If you’re not a child you should be in the street. Has any politician here proposed this before?
