Just wondering what albums y'all use to get folks into hardcore?

Personally I recomend Wake The Dead-Comeback Kid if they're more on the normie side but if I know they like something on the heavier side I'm going with Crusade- Incendiary. Plz don't make fun of me for using albums after 2000

A friends baby is about to turn one and mum and dad are both heavily into hardcore / hardcore leaning metalcore so im thinking of my options for a themed present.

I don't know if there are niche options that i might not find on google, i kinda have it in my head for like an alphabet book with each letter being a band etc etc

I'm not super into alot of the bands in this scene but do the bigger bands like trapped under ice etc sell baby clothes?

Such an underreted band !

Let me preface this by saying crowd killing is a part of hardcore, it belongs in hardcore, I’m in no way against crowd killing. That said, every show I go to the bands are always begging people to move forward and fill in the front. Therefore, can we please normalize not crowd killing the people in the 3-4 first rows right in front of the stage. Bands want sing alongs, they want crowd diving, they don’t want the horseshoe. Somehow crowds at terror shows inherently follow this rule and every show is amazing with tons of crowd divers. I just saw 100 demons and everyone was scared shitless to come up front which is such a shame because they have tons of sing along parts in their songs. People on the sides and back of the pit can see it coming and can defend themselves. If you’re in the front row you can’t see someone, like say the lead singer of missing link, coming to punch you in the back of the head. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Disappointing to see from one of my favourite artists that got me into hardcore through TUI

I recently had a guy in my local scene come into my place of work. ( I work as a security guard I was raised in hardcore and hardcore values of acab and fighting for equality and human rights) mind u im a security guard but a lot of my work consists of making sure people are okay and providing resources. But they basically said i cant be hardcore and a security guard which i understand because I work with police when patrons are being aggressive or breaking rules and laws.

This is a hyper specific call for anyone in the South East of England (Kent / Sussex / London). There used to be a spazzy hardcore band around in probably 2005 - 2010ish called Midas Girls. They were Three One G / Gravity adjacent and I probably saw them ten times around Kent (they were great live!), but I can't find ANYTHING about them online. I even did an insanely awkward interview / took photos with them for my then zine. I can't remember if they officially released anything but they definitely had a MySpace and songs on there but their name seems to be un-googleable!

Anyone remember them or have any links to their stuff? Would love to hear them now!
