Would you send traffic directly to wa.me / api.whatsapp.com, or first to a simple landing page (Google Sites, basic HTML, or even a blog) with business info and a prominent WhatsApp button?

From your real experience:

• Does Google consider a direct WhatsApp link a poor landing page?
• Does it hurt Landing Page Experience, Quality Score or Ad Rank?
• Have you seen lower CPC or better results after switching from a direct WhatsApp link to a landing page?

Hi everyone,

I’m troubleshooting a Google Ads account for a coaching / counseling practice in Germany.

The issue is that multiple Search campaigns have received 0 impressions, 0 clicks and 0 cost for weeks, even though they appear active in the Google Ads interface.

We originally thought it might be an account-level issue because there was an advertiser verification / account suspension related screen. However:

• All advertiser / account verifications have now been completed.
• Billing shows no open balance or failed payments.
• Google Support checked the account and said they could not find any account-level issue.
• Campaigns and ad groups appear active.
• Ads appear approved / eligible.
• Daily budget is active, around €20–30/day.
• Bidding is set to Maximize Clicks.
• Search partners are disabled.
• Display Network is disabled.
• No audiences, no remarketing, no custom segments are used.
• AI Max, automatically created assets and final URL expansion are disabled.
• Policy-limited sitelinks/assets were paused.
• Some health-related keywords triggered “Health in personalized advertising”, so we removed them for the initial clean test.

To rule out low local search volume, we temporarily expanded location targeting from a local radius around Dreieich to all of Germany.

Even with Germany-wide targeting and broader phrase-match keywords such as:

• "coaching"
• "hypnose"
• "systemischer coach"
• "systemisches coaching"
• "coaching dreieich"
• "hypnose dreieich"

the account still receives 0 impressions.

At this point, I’m trying to understand what could still block delivery when Google Support says there is no account-level issue.

What else should we check?

Specific questions:

1. Can campaigns show as active/eligible but still be internally restricted after verification?
2. Could “Health in personalized advertising” still suppress delivery even if the affected keywords/assets were removed or paused?
3. Could Maximize Clicks fail to enter auctions completely with these keywords, even with Germany-wide targeting?
4. Are there hidden account settings, negative keyword lists, policy states, or billing/profile issues that are easy to miss?
5. What exact diagnostic screens should we check next?

Any advice from people who have seen a Search campaign stuck at 0 impressions despite active status, completed verification, and Google Support saying no issue would be very appreciated.

I running home remodeling google ads last 8 months, my daily budget is 35$/day, I get impressions and less clicks but not conversations.

I loss lot of money but not getting lead.

So last 3 months I've started in my career in the google ads and I've particular client in healthcare industry where the location he is situated is tier 3 area and he wants good lead and personally he is expected lot of things from the google ads in aspect of leads. now it has been 1 months started lead gen campaign fresh account and results are not I expected can any one suggest what I'm missing??

Is anyone actually building a conversion setup that filters bot traffic and only sends qualified conversions back to Google Ads? If yes, how are you doing it? Offline conversions API with a scoring layer? CRM sync? Something else?

How do you feel about the August 17th Google ads update to how CPA & tROAS will work?

I keep seeing posts in here asking "why did my CPA spike in late June?" and people are tearing apart their ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies.

Stop. It’s not your ads.

On June 15, Google killed the Signals fallback for Google Ads. If your cookie banner sends an incomplete ad_storage signal, your conversion data stops feeding Google Ads. But GA4 uses modeled data to fill the gaps, so your GA4 dashboards still look green.

You think you're optimizing right now? You aren't. You’re feeding Smart Bidding a fraction of the data it had last month. The algorithm doesn't know the data is missing. It just assumes your ads suddenly suck, and it adjusts bids accordingly.

And it's not even your fault. You installed a CMP to comply with GDPR. But Google changed the rules mid-game. If your banner loads half a second after the GA4 tag fires, or you lack the v2 parameters, Google Ads goes blind.

Do a 30-second check right now:

1. Open your site incognito -> F12 -> Network tab -> filter "collect"
2. Click "Accept" on your cookie banner.
3. Look at the request. If you don't see gcs=G111 In there, your data pipe to Google Ads is broken.

I want to know how many of you are actually running campaigns on blind data right now and didn't know it. And if you did fix it, how? Because the default server-side GTM doesn't fix the ad blocker problem.

Is Smart Bidding worth a conversion-killing popup and blind data? Or is it smarter to maintain a perfect UX and optimize manually from the outside?

I have 700+ products fully approved also checked all the settings are perfectly aligned. Can any one tell me-why i am not getting even a single impression organically? Also Ads are running good. My website is Ozswords and we sell swords.
