Birthday Brigade Heroes are Back
Yes, they’re finally back! This year’s Birthday Llama will feature the three long-awaited Birthday Brigade Heroes - Birthday Brigade Ramirez, Birthday Brigade Jonesy and Birthday Brigade Penny.
Birthday Brigade Ramirez
More bullets, more birthday mayhem! This Legendary Soldier extends the duration of Goin’ Commando!!!, giving you more time to mow down waves of party-crashing Husks and Mist Monsters.
Standard Perk: Ain’t Done Yet!
Increases Goin’ Commando!!! Duration by 5 seconds.
Birthday Brigade Jonesy
The celebration isn’t over until Jonesy says so! This Legendary Soldier restores Health with eliminations, helping you stay in the fight as long as the Husks keep coming.
Standard Perk: Survivalist
Eliminations heal you for 39 base Health over 3 seconds. Additional eliminations refresh the duration.
Commander Perk: Survivalist+
Eliminations heal you for 117 base Health over 3 seconds. Additional eliminations refresh the duration.
Birthday Brigade Penny

Commander Perk: One Hot Minute+

Hey folks! Here’s a quick roundup of what’s returning in this update, alongside a round of bug fixes and improvements.
Prehistoric Izza
Unlike the Stegosaurus, she's not a herbivore. This Legendary Constructor from the Historic Heroes set stomps into the Event Items section, available for 2,800 Gold. Pair her with another Dino Hero to trigger the Blast From the Past Team Perk and trade all that Shield for a massive Health boost.
Standard Perk: Saurian Hide
When Shield is depleted, increases Armor by 33.
Commander Perk: Saurian Hide+
When Shield is depleted, increases Armor by 100.
Team Perk: Blast From the Past
Removes all Shield and increases Max Health by 200%. Requires 2 Dino Heroes (e.g. Fossil Southie, Paleo Luna, Rex Jonesy).
Ancient’s Launcher
Ancient technology, lost to the storm... and somehow changed by it. Grab this weapon from the Exchange tab under Event Items for 1,680 Gold if you haven’t already, and hurl an explosive orb of magic on enemies.
Weapon Perk: Ancient Curse
Mark up to eight enemies by aiming down sights (ADS) and hovering your crosshair over them to apply a mystical Glyph that lasts for five seconds. Then, release ADS and unleash single-target damage on all marked targets in the order they were marked.
The Ancient’s Launcher can hit hard, but fire too fast and it can overheat! Aim true, mark wisely, and watch your foes fall one by one.

You can now join a Deliver the Bomb Mission in progress from within Homebase
You can now build tracks in Deliver the Bomb while using Simple Build

See you in the new game update!
The Save the World Dev Team
accepting that this game will never be properly finished,
getting a twine storyline,
getting good, if not essential updates,
getting epic to care again,
and becoming dead and forgotten
the game is still good but dear god is it more dead than when it became f2p
(This is the only art I've managed to save ages ago.)
I was looking for a few of ToBinge's old Fortnite art since I remembered liking the short animations they did, and the memes and art from the older days. But almost everything they've posted got scrubbed. I couldn't find their Reddit account either, but I did recall one time, they were making Path of Exile art and traced over their old work, like Penny and Sarah laughing.
Does anyone know why they've done this, or if there's an archive anywhere?
The reason im asking is, because after evovling 1 hero and 3 weapons i am now left with only around 200 pure rain drops so only enough to evolve 3 times. What is the order of priority in things i should be evovling?
Overall i had quite a bit of fun playing stw since it went f2p, alltough i have to admit i did play it as founder a few years back so i knew i would be having fun.
Some points i wanna talk about:
The Story was decent, had some funny and emotional interactions and was just a nice motivation to keep playing. One gripe i do have with the story however is, that many quests seemed pretty random at times. Like something thrown in the middle of a bigger questline which is only used as filler. I also found it weird how near the end of the story they introduce Penny's sister and just not mention her any more at all. The storm king fight was also very anti-climatic.
The gameplay was honestly okay, i will admit that the story was my main motivation to keep playing rather than the gameplay since it was very repetive. It was kinda nice to see my defenses and trap builds just easily take care of husks on missions/ssd.
lastly the bugs i have experienced in the past months were pretty annoying, but sadly just something we have to deal with.
Lastly i want to just hear your thoughts on wether or not adding micro-transactions to stw in exchange for a twine peaks story line would be worth it and what kind of micro-transactions you guys would/wouldn't want to see.
I’ve been noticing when playing that I’m seeing very distinct lines in the terrain where different tiles are connected. I feel like it wasn’t this bad before. I jumped up in the air as ninja and it looks like a checkerboard pattern. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I play on pc, high graphics.
Ever since Stonewood got a graphics update, and even more so since the f2p update, I've been noticing these very weird shading glitches. Now I do have shadows turned off in the screenshots, however they do appear (and are much more visible) on my Switch 2, Series S, PS5, and anything with shadows enabled. I originally thought it was my graphics drivers until discovering that. It also happens in EVERY zone.
I was thinking that they messed up some cloud shading texture, since it's always in this grid-like pattern, and nobody ever brought it up.
I did enable shadows in the final image and went to a different area too, just to show how visible it becomes.
I know the Paleo Luna HP build is better, but I lack the heroes, and I just really like Harvester Sarah. I’ve put together the best build for her I can with who I have, but what to know what’s optimal to work towards Bb for the team or which perks for Neon Scythe. Here’s what I have.
Harvester Sarah
Team Perk: Dim Mak. setup: Paleo Luna, Assassin Sarah, Deadly Blade Crash, Intergalactic Ken, Corrupted Aura who will be replaced with Whiteout Fiona when I get her.
Neon Scythe.
energy dmg, crit rate, dmg%, atk speed, dmg to afflicted targets.
I curious to know if there is any hope for this game. Are there any leaks or hints that give you guys hope, or is the game back in maintenance mode? What is the communities consensus right now about where the game is headed? (if headed anywhere at all)
I'm curious myself because I'm not seeing much discussion on the games leaks and its future, even after the huge ftp update, and Epic finally genuinely acknowledging STW for the first time in a long time.
Basically im just looking for information on the games state, what we can expect in the coming updates, what players think, and if this game is headed in a good direction.
came back to this game after 2 years. did some ventures and unlocked PL23 zones at level 5 (it used to be 10). does anyone have a new PL chart for all the levels?
Game crashed after spending several minutes in a loading screen after queueing up for rescue the survivors fills to do my daily quest.
I somehow got 5/25 survivors after relaunching the game as if I successfully loaded into the mission, but was still stuck loading in forever.
In the nearly 10 years this game has existed, we have NEVER had to have a QUEUE TIME just to get to the menus, be it from the battle royale lobby, or the mission results screen. So tell me why, out of the blue we have a queue time for both?? and why the actual fuck am i being sent back to the BR lobby when i leave a mission?????
Welcome to Teacher Tuesday, a thread where anyone can ask any type of question without the fear of getting deathly glares by a passing Blaster! Questions can range from whats new in Fortnite, whats the current meta, or even where did the storm even come from? Questions can come from brand new players, players returning, or veteran players who never got a chance to ask the right question(s).
