I've been carrying a Kershaw Leek for a long time and I like it, no complaints
But I've got the itch and I want to get a new daily driver, so I've come for recommendations.
I'm looking for something an eye-catchy and interesting but classy (no mall ninja shit) folder (am receptive to OTF though) and not large for <$500 USD. I prefer spear points, tantos, and strange blade shapes but thats not a hard requirements.
As far as use case... dude, I'm a software engineer, I need to cut open amazon boxes and have a cool knife to show off, thats it. I'm not out here operating, you know.

Hello,
I have started collecting a lot of stuff now and still not done yet. Currently I have a Rickshaw Coozy that holds one of my mechanical pencils and a pen, one or two erasers, my phone, my keys and usb drives on a keyring, ipod, psp, a wallet, a mini rollup thing for cables, etc...
I'm wondering if it would be smarter to buy an alpaka admin pouch to shove most things that I don't need to quickly grab since I plan on buying a nitecore flashlight, a leatherman, power brick, etc and also looking at getting their zip pouches for my cables? I also am looking for a power bank that fits better in pockets without being too heavy...
The problem is I tend to carry most of this in my pockets and currently cargo pants but also carpenter pants with nice side pockets on one leg. Cargo pants are annoying due to the large pockets along the leg which makes it difficult to properly pack with my stuff without it looking too bulky or too weird.
I don't want to carry a sling and I don't always want to bring my backpack so not sure exactly how to organize everything in a way where things fit in my pockets without being too weird looking but also not digging into me.
EDIT: Before my setup worked just fine, but I am getting a lot more stuff and becoming difficult to properly organize everything.

As stated in the original post, I work in an office and am a dad so I gave up full size EDC a while ago. Nowadays I try and keep it simple with a Ruger LCR, 5 star speedloader, Sig Foxtrot EDC light, and a cheap amazon metal wallet.
I've been going to sea for about 8 years, and I jad enough of having to prowl the entire ship every time I needed a tool, especially in the smaller sizes, so I built out my tool kit again. I have been getting by with the Irwin water pump pliers, the 11/1 screwdriver, and a good adjustable for a long time but it was time for a revamp. This is all the stuff I reach for all the time, only to find it missing or broken or just scattered to hell and back. Love to hear your thoughts on it
Maxpedition Beefy case, Spyderco Native Salt, Milwaukee Inkzall, ballpoint pen, knipex plier wrench, work pro mini cobras, Irwin 8 inch water pump plier, fujiya 32mm adjustable wrench, Klein 27/1 precision screwdriver, Klein 11/1 screwdriver, mini bit driver, Railer bit rail with torx/hex/phillips/flatheads, Quinn 1/4" socket set standard and metric , Icon G2 6" fixed head ratchet with short/long extensions and wobble joint, mini 1/4 ratchet from larger icon meme tool kit, 2 small Crescent picks, and Pittsburgh short set of metric and standard allen keys (in a pocket behind the sockets).

I got this Helikon-Tex EDC wallet just to try out since it was like 6-7€. I'm getting a bit annoyed by my larger edc wallet/pouch combo, especially now in summer since I don't have a jacket pocket to put the pouch in.
I just have a couple cards + a tick removal card, a bit of cash and my emergency numbers+band-aid sleeve in the wallet. But I figured that I could potentially clip a small flashlight to the wallet and I could very comfortably slip a Victorinox Bantam into the wallet as well.
Is this completely stupid or a genius move?

Hi everyone. Looking at the Dango SK1 Slidekick and the Pun Cube. Both look very similar. Any recommendations one vs the other? Thanks.

Just got my ultra yesterday so let's see what this thing is all about. I'm a project manager for a major ambulance dealer on the east coast so a flashlight is a necessity for me. I'd usually be carrying a Streamlight Wedge but I thought I'd give this a go. Don't get me wrong I love my Wedge and haven't had a single issue with it but just wanted to try something different. ok fellow knife and edc dudes and dudettes, i was going to post these two pocket scalpels because i couldn't remember where i got one of them. then i looked at them. both are laser marked CAGE: 5VKB6. question answered. i don't even remember which one i thought i didn't know. anyhow, i broke the #60 blade a few months ago and couldn't find my replacements so i ordered some old timer replacements. i had to widen the slot to make them fit but i'm good now.
then, just the other day i broke the smaller one. i knew where i had some #11 blades, a whole pack of 100 minus a few. these were "left over" from a job i had. we used them for a couple of specific tasks instead of #11 hobby blades. the scalpel blades are just better. we only had a few left so i ordered a box. it's not like we went through that many, \*maybe\* a few a week, and like i said, they're better than x-acto blades, especially cheap ones. management thought they were too expensive and declared we were not to use them anymore. it didn't matter that you could go through 4 or 6 cheap #11 x-acto blades doing what used to take one #11 scalpel blade, they were cheaper! at least by the each, i don't think the scalpel blades cost more than 2× or 3× what the x-acto blades cost, so not cheaper overall, but management are high finance whizzards, they knoe 'zactly wut to du! that company doesn't exist anymore after 65 years thanks to the self-titled president, cob, coo, cfo... good! more for me!
i thought the #11 scalpel blades would fit. they don't. i looked harder and found my replacement #24 scalpel blades. i only have one left, so i'll have to buy more. that's not my question.
looking at these #11's, does anyone know of a pocket scalpel that takes #11's? that's what i want.
eta: both pocket scalpels are from countycomm, if that wasn't clear. i'm not even sure they still make or carry them.
