Dream Art My Adobe series, oil paintings

One watercolor. These are inspired by mysterious desert dreams I’ve had in the past. Adobe structures, similar to Santa Fe, were common, especially villages. The dreams were very archetypal and Jungian in nature, which led me to discovering the work of Jung in early college.

I saw the edge of the universe.

Last night, I saw one of the most detailed dreams I've ever seen.

It was a pretty thorough dream but I can't articulate it fully in words, so I'm writing the important elements.

I was in a mountainous range (felt like the himalayas), I said goodbyes to my mother and I just took off wearing an armored suit.

I was flying at an extremely fast pace, it was so incomprehensibly speedy that it was nearly like teleportation, it felt like it was millions of times faster than the speed of light (literally).

And then, I was able to see the end of our universe, within 2 seconds I traveled millions of lightyears and I was pushed out of the universe in a blink, I was thrown into a never-ending abyss, peacefully floating at a distance and observing our entire universe after getting snapped out from it, the universe looked like a greyish ball (rough uneven shape).

While observing the universe I also saw it throwing more stuff or people like me at unbelievable speeds in the same manner out from itself.

It was an incredible dream, the experience was so peaceful and grounding. The scale of things I saw cannot be comprehended in words.

I was able to see our entire universe which was floating in the abyss, unbelievable.

This dream left me sitting quite for 20 minutes after waking up. It was incredible.

Question any one had reoccurring dreams of an apocalypse?

I had these a while back nearly every night dreaming of a different apocalypse situation. some with viruses with strange symptoms and ways they spread. ( one was spread through the non infected feeling intense emotion to be infected, very strange). the imagery in all was haunting though.

Does anyone have an opinion of what this could mean or why it was reoccurring?

Hello, everyone,
I had a dream last night, and one image really stood out to me. I asked ChatGPT to recreate it, and here’s the result. Could someone tell me what an owl symbolizes in dreams? Thank you very much

Atlantis Dream

Has anyone else ever had the dream of being a general on the island of Atlantis on the day of its destruction?

I keep having the most vivid dream. I can smell sulfur in the air as the oceans turn to acid and swallow the whole island. I run to the top of a lighthouse. When I get there, I look out over the island to see my people drowning in the acidic ocean. I hear a loud noise from behind me, and I am attacked by some kind of huge man-beast, and this is what thrusts me awake.

anyone else ever had this dream?

Or even better... anyone have an idea of what it means, and why I keep having it over and over?

Dream implies that you are dreaming about a certain person but they look nothing like they do in real life

I always have these dreams about people where I know who I’m dreaming about but they just look like someone else probably some random person, but they can look similar sometimes to how they look in real life. sometimes the same person in a dream represents 2 people in my life as well. I rarely have dreams where people I know in my dream look like how they look in real life. Although I never see faces clearly or remember them clearly when I wake up , but I just know they didn’t look like they do in real life. Sometimes they’ll have a completely different personality too and almost represent a completely different person, does this happen to anyone else?

Short Dream My mom once dreamt of Jesus during a surgery and was actually healed

Before I start, I want to first clarify that I’m not really a religious person and I don’t have any religious agendas in sharing this story, I’m just simply fascinated by it.
back before I was born, my mom suffered from a liver disease, that her sister also had and died from, that I unfortunately don’t know the name of it in english even after researching it for a while. anyway, when the disease progressed and it came time for surgery and she was put under anesthesia, she says she had a vivid dream where she was on a rocky, mountainous area surrounded by a crowd of people pointing at a man in a black dress and they told my mom that that man is Jesus. she says she never saw him up close to see what he actually looked like but only seeing him from a far was enough to give her a deep feeling of comfort and peace. And when she finally woke up, the surgery was a success and after a while she was fully healed and thankfully she’s still alive and healthy.
the thing that is really fascinating to me is that she is not a Christian, and she has never read the gospels and doesn’t know anything about Jesus besides some very basic details, but yet, the location of the dream seems very strange to me, was she seeing Jesus during the sermon on the mount? I don’t know.
And you might say if that dream had any significance why didn’t Jesus also save my aunt? again, I don’t know. Like I stated in the beginning, my aim is not religious at all, and I’m not trying to convince anyone to believe anything and I myself am very skeptical about religion, but this dream has always fascinated me and I just wanted to share it.

Dream

Hi, this might sound strange, but the other night I dreamt about a vampire. I don't remember exactly where we met; I just know he was very handsome and gave me a code I could use to find him. I woke up immediately after he gave me the code and wanted to Google it, but I don't remember the whole thing—just the letter O and the numbers 010. Has anyone had similar experiences, or do I just sound crazy?

Nightmare Dreamt of psychological torture

I believe this would be considered a nightmare. First time posting on here. I had a dream where a professor discussed about being scammed by Rothschild or someone, I have no idea. He then gets up and stands in front of his whiteboard to go over the topic of the day. I went through my bag to find my journal to take notes and he then mentions “Psychological torture”. Where he plays videos of people dying and being tortured to death. I saw one man convulsing naked on a forest floor or island after trying to survive total isolation. Next a man forced to kneel by being tied down, as one by one, an individual rips skin off one of his arm. A pirate ship or giant sailboat where men are tied to parts of the ship that when hitting the water they are submerged for a few seconds to a minute before being able to breathe. After a while of watching and witnessing each clip, almost as if I recorded them, I woke up.

Short Dream Only had one dream last night I can remember: I got a hug

And it was me being embraced for like 10 minutes by a person whose face I could not see. Right as I pulled back in the dream to get a look at him, he turned his head away with his face covered by his hair then I woke up. But he looked sad right before I woke up (at least his mouth did).

We were also, for some reason, floating above a beautiful coastal city at night in the dream. And the dream started with the feeling of me being yanked off my bed and dragged which was kind of thrilling I’m ngl (the dragging transitioned into a hug).

That was the whole dream. I don’t even think I need to interpret this one. I’n just lonely LMAO

Question An Early Morning Dream That Scared Me – Does Anyone Know What It Means?

Hello Readers,

Please read this completely and share your suggestions.

Yesterday early morning, while I was sleeping, I had a dream.

In the dream, I was hanging inside a dark tunnel or a well-like place. There were many snakes all around me. Along with the snakes, I saw something that seemed to be protected. There were several gold chains: some were on the snakes' heads or wrapped around their bodies, while others lay on the ground.

There were hundreds of snakes in that place, including large ones like pythons.

Suddenly, I became very frightened and woke up. The time was 5:09 AM on 21 July.

Can anyone please help me understand what this dream might mean or suggest what I should do?

Recurring Dream Alien Visitations? Hardly an Abduction. Probably dreams.

I'd love to hear your thoughts? I used to have these dreams where this lovely alien couple would hover their ship outside my bedroom window, above a crop of carnelian bushes. They would come to collect me, I feel like I always had a choice, and that the first few visits (dreams) I didn't actually go with them.

I couldn't say how many times they came to visit me, or how many times I went on their ship, but I never felt scared, sometimes a little weirded out, but even as a young kid, I called them dreams, even though I never quite felt like it wasn't real. Also, it took years for me to understand some of what I saw in the "dreams" as it was "adult" style content, not graphic, but these aliens would get very affectionate with each other around me. This is a weird bit, their fish, which is what I felt it was, would also get very embarrassed by their affections, and it's eyes would grow huge and it would turn it's back to the cuddling while blowing air bubbles. The fish, that lived in a tank of air, while the aliens and I floated in water, I guess. I recall thinking the reversal was weird, but I wasn't struggling to breathe, so it didn't bother me. I recall being friends with the fish. I recall being comfortable with the aliens, and I never felt like we left my yard. I would look forward to them visiting again. This is all really the extent of what I recall as it was 46 years ago.

I have experienced sleep paralysis episodes for as long as I can remember, and the figures who enter my room are not the same.

What do we think, dreams?

Recurring Theme In Dream

For the past week I have been having a reoccurring moment in my dreams where I walk in my bathroom and there is my body sitting there. I do not look dead but my body is motionless and I am just sitting there. I never thought about it until this morning where the dream last night was so vivid that I woke up and didn’t want to go in the bathroom because I didn’t want to see my, i’m guessing dead, body. I am always wearing the outfit I wore during the day and my eyes are open but just staring blankly. I don’t know what this means, but it is scaring me. Last night in my dream I had a conversation with my mom about wanting to move my dead body out of my bathroom. My dad asking if it was turning gray and black, and I said “It look like I died yesterday” My mom apparently took my to a doctor that killed me by just making me take something then I passed out? They were both suppressed that my body was so alive, but also lifeless almost like my soul is in a new body. Has anyone had similar experiences? I am a M-18 if that has any significance

is it normal that I sometimes dream about an ex (my first love)?

Sometimes I have dreams (not that often), nothing really happens in them, they just kinda remind me of the existence of that person from my past. Their face just kinda appears and that’s it. It’s been 3 years and I’ve moved on. Happens to anyone else? I always feel confused after, we have been in no contact for like 2 years and he’s with someone new.

I keep having a recurring dream about Cuba Gooding Jr staying on my roof.

So, yeah. And I look up and he is looking at me and I ask if I can get up there too and he goes, Neu. And I go, Aw, c'mon. Next I go over to these folks cleaning out this house of this nice elderly couple and then I get some sort of folks eating and removing wallpaper and some attractive Chinese woman is telling me I am being rude to her because my phone has this malware on it and I wanted her to help me with it but I was too brash and then I get on the roof and Cuba is gone. Man, I just don't know.

Most terrifying nightmare?

I rarely have nightmares that actually terrify me, but this one freaked me out. In my dream, I was walking home and I noticed the shed skin of giant spiders. There was maybe ten. I kicked one, and thousands of baby spiders came out of it and attacked me as the exoskeleton just limped away. After that, the other shed skins of the spiders exploded and once again the exoskeletons were their best to get away, which meant dragging itself across the ground as the babies crawled out of it's hollow body.

Dream Help Have you ever dreamt of someone you have never know and then you met him in real life ?

When I was 14 years old , I had a dream that I was in a ship and I was tied with iron chains and there was a girl next to me in the same condition , and in front of me there was a man , he was hilarious . He was laughing and joking and I noticed that his trousers were folded on one side, and the other side of the trousers was unfolded , and suddenly came a dwarf pirate with a gun and shooting in the air , so this hilarious man and helped me and that girl next to me to run and then the dream has finished , I woke up feeling weird but I didn't think about it , after months I saw this man and I swear it's him , the same eyes and the way of joking and the same hilarious personality . Also I found out that he has the same habit as the guy I saw in my dream which is folding one leg of his trousers while the other leg is unfolded , can anyone explain what happened ? Or does anyone have the same experience?

My ex had a dream an archangel was at the foot of my bed staring at me right before our painful breakup

Upvotes

He said it was a very tall being of light, too big to be a human and the dream felt real in that the room wasn't distorted. It was Christmas and we were in a hotel room which had two double beds -- I was in one and he in the other. Apparently the angel appeared at the foot of my bed and was looking at me. My ex is Muslim so I thought it was interesting he mentioned this. I should also mention he suffered from sleep paralysis but those episodes involved scary imagery. I couldn't get any other information from him after what he initially said.

What do you think this could mean for him and me?

Has Anyone Experienced This Shift in Lucid Dreaming?

We've worked with a lot of people who initially come to lucid dreaming for the experience of it, and somewhere along the way it becomes something much more introspective. The dream stops being a playground and starts being a mirror. Has that shift happened for you?

hello i (15m)slept at 3 30 am yesterday after taking a bath in my sleep i experiened vivid memories of one whole year or even more i remeber that there was a girl with me i didnt really have a romantic relationship with her but rather a friendship but around like 5 am i woke up and all the memories of this dream went away i only was awake for 2 till 3 secounds i wondered in my mind that i just experienced a year worth of memories or even more since i dont remeber now the only thing i remember is me running down my apartment staircase with that mysterious girl looking at some animals but after i fell asleep after waking up that same girl appeared and this dream i remembered everything about even how she smelled her voice her hair everything in too much detail and it seemed like from my dream i knew her for a long time i was very comfortable with her which is extremly weird as i have never felt love for anyone in my entire life not women or men i would go as far as to say i maybe asexual but this dream is definetly making me doubt that the dream went as follows i was in my childhood home from when my family was struggling we didnt have much money so we couldnt afford air conditioning due to which sleeping at night was difficult and this detail is important as in my 2nd part of the dream the girl was at my house and we were having a sleepover it wasnt anything sexual she was talking to me in this dream and she was saying that its too hot and since i remember everything from this dream this whole conversation with her really hit me her voice was so calm her hair she was so sweet upon hearing her complaining i saw that she was wearing a blanket and i said to her if your hot then take off the blanket and i offered her the sheets i had over me which were very thin then she replied to me "do you wanna share i dont want you to sleep without the sheets" and at this point i realized i was dreaming i started lucid dreaming i immediatly told her no that i dont want to share the sheets (as i was very shy )but weird thing i had memories of her family and her relatives while lucid dreaming ! which i have never heard anyone say and back to the topic then she got up and laid on the floor and said again that its too hot she was laying on a wooden plank and she told me to also come and sleep on the floor while getting down i took the wooden plank out of her way and she rotated at the same time so my hand slipped and my face fell on her stomachs side and this is what really gets me i felt love?? which i have never felt i have always been a very emotionally dead person and love stories make me vomit so this was definettly very weird for me and the creepy thing i remeber her smell from that and even that she was warm ?? how is that even possible and if your still reading this thanks cuz this has gotten abit long lmao i got up to get water and something and my mother was their and she asked me why is she sleeping over here ? to which i in my lucid dream replied "idk her families rich she has ac in her home idk y she chooses to sleep here"and then i woke up the weird thing is both of my dreams were connected i actually completly forgot about the first dream but while eating and pondering about the secound one i remembered small parts of it which i mentioned like running down the staircase with her and now that i think of it i am realizing i legit lived with that girl for a whole year or even more in my first dream and in my second dream i fell in love with her ? honestly i kinda miss my dream world as i vivdly remeber liviling a years worth and i m pretty devastated it feels like i lost progress in life anyways if yall had any weird experiences like this make sure to tell

Question What is more common: to have dreamed at least once about murdering someone or to have never dreamed about it?

Hello, today I had this thought: I can't recall a single time where I killed someone in my dreams. Of course, it could have happened and I just can't remember it, but inside the group of dreams I remember the most, I have never killed a single person or animal... In some of them, someone kills me or someone (not me) kills another person. So I'm wondering if this is a normal or common thing or if it has a meaning.

I'm very pacifistic in real life, but I don't think that's the main reason.
