Short Dream My mom once dreamt of Jesus during a surgery and was actually healed

Before I start, I want to first clarify that I’m not really a religious person and I don’t have any religious agendas in sharing this story, I’m just simply fascinated by it.
back before I was born, my mom suffered from a liver disease, that her sister also had and died from, that I unfortunately don’t know the name of it in english even after researching it for a while. anyway, when the disease progressed and it came time for surgery and she was put under anesthesia, she says she had a vivid dream where she was on a rocky, mountainous area surrounded by a crowd of people pointing at a man in a black dress and they told my mom that that man is Jesus. she says she never saw him up close to see what he actually looked like but only seeing him from a far was enough to give her a deep feeling of comfort and peace. And when she finally woke up, the surgery was a success and after a while she was fully healed and thankfully she’s still alive and healthy.
the thing that is really fascinating to me is that she is not a Christian, and she has never read the gospels and doesn’t know anything about Jesus besides some very basic details, but yet, the location of the dream seems very strange to me, was she seeing Jesus during the sermon on the mount? I don’t know.
And you might say if that dream had any significance why didn’t Jesus also save my aunt? again, I don’t know. Like I stated in the beginning, my aim is not religious at all, and I’m not trying to convince anyone to believe anything and I myself am very skeptical about religion, but this dream has always fascinated me and I just wanted to share it.

Question Should I be worried? Is this real?

Yesterday morning, I woke up, looked up at my wall, and saw a large sea urchin looking bug climbing up it. I immediately freaked out and ran across the house to another room to get heI came back with a friend less than a minute later, and the bug was gone. This isn't a bug that could hide very easily. I've pulled all the furniture out and apart, searched all my blankets, and looked in every possible location. I have been horrified to go back to sleep until I know it's gone. I haven't slept since. It's getting to the point where I really need to sleep. I started thinking, could this possibly be a type of hallucination?I haven't been this paranoid in a long time, never like this. Please let me know if anybody knows anything about this. Thanks.

Included photo is the closest thing I could find that looks very similar, But the apparent Max size for these guys is only .4 inches, and I'm sure what I saw was Larger.

Nightmare Distrusting sexual dreams

Throwaway account. trigger warning for incest, heavy sexual themes, sexual trauma

I’ve been heavily abused as young as my memory goes. I have cptsd and osdd due to the trauma I’ve gone thru. I often have very disturbing dreams, which can be other than sexual, like apocalypses, tornadoes, catastrophe events, military, being in war, and then sexual ones. I went thru sexual abuse by my father, many child on child sexual abuse instances as well. All my life, my existence has inherently been sexual. I’ve come to realize recently once starting therapy that my sexual dreams happen more often than I thought. I’d like to say tho that my sexual dreams nvr scare me, I’m not disturbed by them. They don’t affect me. I’m heavily dissociated and have the inability to rly conceptualize that wat ive gone thru and the affects negatively affect me. I only consider something a nightmare if it genuinely scares me in my sleep or I am startled awake. Anything else no matter how insane it is is just a dream. And I carry on with my day like it’s nothing. My therapist told me that that’s kinda a high standard to interpret my dreams as. And that a disturbing dream of the nature I describe is a nightmare even if it doesn’t affect me. Imma post the one I had last night here and see wat others think.

AGAIN this is very gross stuff so beware. I personally find it hilarious, how I wrote it in my notes app to remember to write it in my journal was pretty funny personally. But yeah

Dream:
As far as I remember it started with my grandfather fucking me doggy style. I was into it in the dream ofc. I mean rly in these dreams I think it’s a sexual part (alters in osdd system) like Maria or someone I’m not aware of. I’ve nvr as far as I’ve remembered had a sexual dream of pawpaw (my grandfathers nickname, he died when I was in 2nd grade, I’m 20 now). His dick was long and huge, lots of snapshots of “admiring” it, he was 6’ 6” after all. Maybe it’s tied to the fact of when he was sick in the hospital I was in 2nd grade and he was in a hospital gown lying on the bed and I curiously peaked in between his dress and he snapped at me and yelled not to look there but I saw his balls and his flaccid dick but not a lot of details it was quick (this is a real memory, not part of the dream). Anyways I was riding him, grinding on him, just having a bunch of sex. He would say things to me, seemed like a gentle lover. Tho I don’t think a 67 yr old man could rly be any other way (generalization). He admired me, I was a slut for him. As I usually am in these kinda dreams. Then some stereotypical porn star Asian girl was there, she was a virgin, was all flustered, very petite. My irl gf was there, it was our job to prepare the girl to get fucked by my grandpa. My gf would touch her breasts she’d protest in that typical pornstar hentai way, there was a view of my gf climbing on top of the girl and my gf was naked, her ass up and arched, she looked beautiful. then I think I switched and I was masculine (Nick?) I had my same body but I was a man, and I wanted to eat the girl out, so I climbed on top the girl and yanked her shorts down, it showed a view of her vagina, typical porn vagina, small button clit, symmetrical folds, innie not an outie. I nvr got to start cuz then I think the dream ended or my gf irl was shifting around in bed and it woke me up. There was a scene of my parents room back at the old townhouse and pawpaw was laying on my moms side, back to the door, and when I came in he looked over his shoulder at me. And then I was in their bathroom but I don’t remember the context of it.

The end.

For context my grandfather nvr sexually abused me, there was nvr any connotations of sexual behavior from him. He just had a bad temper, so u had to be careful around him. Other than that I loved my grandpa. So yeah, like I said very weird shit, my mind has always been like this tho so i dont know how this might be interpreted by others

Nightmare Has someone went though this?

Hi, I recently moved to my husbands house and since I lived here I’ve had a thing with the closet, usually I’m alone during the day so the first nights I wasn’t scared, until I started to get scared. One night I remember dreaming about the closet door opening slowly and me trying to close it until two creatures, body human, cat head were smiling at me, then I woke up
Last night I remember dreaming about a group of people and me telling them how scared I was of the closet and they telling me that effectively there was something going on and that they could help me, after that I remember fighting with a walking goat, was scared
And I am still scared

Nightmare A terrifying old man chased me down the street

So I had this nightmare a few months ago but I still think about it. Whats funny is the rest of the dream was completely non scary. Only the next part is what made it into a nightmare.

I got off a bus and I was in a weird kinda sunburn looking neighborhood. I had no idea where i was so I started looking for a way out of there. As I was looking the sky slowly got darker and more cloudy. I started getting a feeling that something bad is about to happen. I decided to keep looking for a way out and I picked up this big rock from a lawn I walked by. By this point I was getting extremely uneasy and knew that I have to get out right now. I started walking faster and I looked behind me. There was nothing. Just a sec later I did that again and I saw this weird old man in a sweater standing close to me (around an arm length away) he was smiling at me in a uncanny way, an evil smile. I panicked so I tried to throw the rock at him but I somehow missed. I started running and I looked back and he was running extremely fast. A speed no human especially elder should be reaching. He almost caught me then I woke up. I generated an image of how he looked like

Bdw im writing this rn in bed about to go to sleep so I really hope this fucker wont be paying me another visit

Atlantis Dream

Has anyone else ever had the dream of being a general on the island of Atlantis on the day of its destruction?

I keep having the most vivid dream. I can smell sulfur in the air as the oceans turn to acid and swallow the whole island. I run to the top of a lighthouse. When I get there, I look out over the island to see my people drowning in the acidic ocean. I hear a loud noise from behind me, and I am attacked by some kind of huge man-beast, and this is what thrusts me awake.

anyone else ever had this dream?

Or even better... anyone have an idea of what it means, and why I keep having it over and over?

Has Anyone Experienced This Shift in Lucid Dreaming?

We've worked with a lot of people who initially come to lucid dreaming for the experience of it, and somewhere along the way it becomes something much more introspective. The dream stops being a playground and starts being a mirror. Has that shift happened for you?

Had knee arthroscopy today under general anesthesia. When I woke up, the first thing I said was, “Where am I?” I genuinely had no idea what had happened for a couple of minutes. Then I asked the nurse Why did you wake me up? I was having such a good dream

Long Dream I orgasmed twice in my dream

I dreamt I was getting touched & touching my close female friend (I'm female) and I orgasmed twice and it was quite sexual lol hut I've never had it before! I'm wondering if it means anything because I have always been straight and want to keep it like that. I also woke up actually wet so I think the orgasms in the dream were real!

is it normal that I sometimes dream about an ex (my first love)?

Sometimes I have dreams (not that often), nothing really happens in them, they just kinda remind me of the existence of that person from my past. Their face just kinda appears and that’s it. It’s been 3 years and I’ve moved on. Happens to anyone else? I always feel confused after, we have been in no contact for like 2 years and he’s with someone new.

My ex had a dream an archangel was at the foot of my bed staring at me right before our painful breakup

He said it was a very tall being of light, too big to be a human and the dream felt real in that the room wasn't distorted. It was Christmas and we were in a hotel room which had two double beds -- I was in one and he in the other. Apparently the angel appeared at the foot of my bed and was looking at me. My ex is Muslim so I thought it was interesting he mentioned this. I should also mention he suffered from sleep paralysis but those episodes involved scary imagery. I couldn't get any other information from him after what he initially said.

What do you think this could mean for him and me?

Dream

Hi, this might sound strange, but the other night I dreamt about a vampire. I don't remember exactly where we met; I just know he was very handsome and gave me a code I could use to find him. I woke up immediately after he gave me the code and wanted to Google it, but I don't remember the whole thing—just the letter O and the numbers 010. Has anyone had similar experiences, or do I just sound crazy?

I saw the edge of the universe.

Last night, I saw one of the most detailed dreams I've ever seen.

It was a pretty thorough dream but I can't articulate it fully in words, so I'm writing the important elements.

I was in a mountainous range (felt like the himalayas), I said goodbyes to my mother and I just took off wearing an armored suit.

I was flying at an extremely fast pace, it was so incomprehensibly speedy that it was nearly like teleportation, it felt like it was millions of times faster than the speed of light (literally).

And then, I was able to see the end of our universe, within 2 seconds I traveled millions of lightyears and I was pushed out of the universe in a blink, I was thrown into a never-ending abyss, peacefully floating at a distance and observing our entire universe after getting snapped out from it, the universe looked like a greyish ball (rough uneven shape).

While observing the universe I also saw it throwing more stuff or people like me at unbelievable speeds in the same manner out from itself.

It was an incredible dream, the experience was so peaceful and grounding. The scale of things I saw cannot be comprehended in words.

I was able to see our entire universe which was floating in the abyss, unbelievable.

This dream left me sitting quite for 20 minutes after waking up. It was incredible.

Dream Art I had a dream where I died and got reincarnated into a dating simulator and these were the characters (+ extra things)

I'm not that good at anatomy or grammar.

I was walking with my friends after school when I suddenly saw a flower bush that looked really pretty,so I decided to pick one of the flowers and, for whatever reason, decided to eat it.

Turns out that flower was actually poisonous, and I just collapsed while I was talking to my friends. I turned into a ghost right after, and I looked horrifying.

Suddenly, I was brought into a dating sim set inside an academy with 4 characters in front of me. Apparently, I was a new student there, and the 4 were there to greet me. I was able to choose who to go with

Unfortunately, I woke up before I even got to talk to the characters. I would've chosen book girl 1 or Soulvester.

Dream Art I had a really scary dream last night and I recreated what I saw

It was a really scary dream but it wasn’t a nightmare. I remember sitting on a bench on a city sidewalk next to a beach, the city and beach was like Honolulu Hawaii which is where I’m from. The scary part was looking up at the sky, which wasn’t a normal night sky, instead it was really scary. I recreated what the sky looked like in this image.

Returned to a Dream 10 Years Later... and Someone Had Been Waiting for Me

I've never known how to explain this without sounding crazy, but it's happened to me for as long as I can remember.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've had incredibly vivid lucid dreams. What's strange is that they're not always random. I'll dream about the same places and the same people—people who don't exist in real life—and then, years later, I'll dream of them again as if no time has passed... or sometimes as if all the time has passed.

When I was a kid, I dreamed about a small town with an old arcade. I met a boy there, and we spent the entire dream playing games together. As I started waking up, I realized the dream was ending. I remember telling him, "I'll be back. Wait for me."

Then I woke up.

About a few weeks ago, I had another dream.

I was back in the exact same town—but it was abandoned and falling apart. Buildings were crumbling, the streets were empty, and everything felt eerily quiet. I walked toward the old arcade and saw a grown man standing outside. When I got closer, I asked him what had happened to the town. Instead of answering, he stared at me in disbelief and asked, "You don't remember me?"

It suddenly clicked.

He was the little boy from the arcade. He told me, "I know you had this dream a long time ago... but I waited for you to come back... or more like got stuck waiting” That sentence gave me one of the strangest feelings I've ever experienced in a dream.

He went on to explain that he waited for me, then that he'd eventually realized he wasn't real—that he was just a person inside a dream. According to him, everyone else had "left," but he stayed because I had promised I'd come back someday, he sort of got stuck in that dream land waiting, even when he wanted to leave.

I apologized and told him I had no idea. To me, it had just been a dream I'd had as a child. We ended up talking for what felt like hours. He asked me about my life, what had happened over the years, and we just... talked.

When I felt myself starting to wake up again, I told him, "You don't have to wait for me anymore. You can go." He thanked me, told me he was ready to go.

A few days later, I dreamed about that town one last time. The arcade was still there. But he was gone.

I've had a lot of recurring dreams throughout my life, and even dreams that continue years later, but this one has always stayed with me. It felt different from any other dream I've ever had.

Has anyone else experienced dreams that seem to continue years later, or dream characters that remember you even when you don't remember them?

lucid dreamed for the first time and told my friends i was dreaming

So i went to sleep at two am and my cat woke me up at around five. I fed him and i went back to bed and i had no intentions to try it, just crossed my mind. I usually dont sleep on my back because i never found it comfortable but i did this time.

I was sitting on the sidewalk with two of my college friends who live in different cities. There was this beautiful sunset and one of them was talking about nostalgia and a tiktok she saw. But i felt out of place randomly in the dream and i cut her off and said “im sorry i just gained consciousness i dont know what we’re doing here i might be dreaming” and the third friend was missing so i also ask about her and then slowly close my eyes in the dream and thats where my vision gets first person. I open my eyes and it is clear but still a bit blurry. You know how they depict people’s vision when they get possessed? It was just like that. I could only think of flying so i started floating around, looking at their faces and saying “im dreaming! Im dreaming!” in a distorted voice. Of course they were confused as hell but what confuses me also is the distorted voice.

Afterwards i notice that my heart is beating REALLY fast, almost like a sleep paralysis so i slowly close my eyes and try to calm myself down but after i hear a sound coming from my home i get distracted and wake up eventually.

Honestly it was a unique experience though it lasted really short! But i cant say i understand how it works now. It just felt like the perfect dream to randomly gain consciousness in! I wish i hadn’t fucked it up like that though

Long Dream Avalanche dream about ex-partner ends with a happy summer by myself

First time posting here. I wanted to share what I feel was a profound dream I just woke up from.

from what I can remember, the dream started with my partner and I in a car driving up a mountain. in real life, I recently broke up with them about 5 months ago - ending a six year relationship.

In the dream, they were still my partner and they were driving the car. As we went up the mountain, the road became more covered in snow and eventually it was higher than our wheels. the car lost traction and drove off the road, deep into the snow and we both but seperately got completely covered in the snow or what seemed to be an avalanche.

i had to dig my way out of the deep snow before I suffocated and it took a while, something I noted in the dream by later telling the third character in my dream it took 3 to 5 minutes to escape. when i finally managed to get free, i saw my partner was still trapped under the snow. i put my hands in and lifted them out.

we then tried to wave down a passing vehicle for help. one or two cars passed us by, but a woman driving a semi-truck stopped to help us (this is the third character). in the dream, she was someone who my partner and I knew spiritually from an Indigenous ceremony community.

She remembered us, I remembered her, but my partner didn't seem to remember right away.

she happily offered her help and we drove to get supplies to get the car out of the snow. We snuck into someones house to get the supplies and quickly left once we were about to get caught.

All of this to say that for some reason I ended up walking back up the hill by myself. cars were passing me and the winter became summer. i saw homes along the mountain and people enjoying the summer weather. I remeber feeling happy.

there wasnt much room to walk on the highway, so i went through a school yard and building on the side of the road, where I transformed into a jester or clown. people who saw me were really scared, though I told them there was nothing to fear.

i ended up taking some items made of lead from the school to then melt down and make into chains to get the car out of the snow, but it was summer so that wasn't as necessary anymore.

i woke up from the dream as I was making the chains near the car, all by myself and feeling content.

Dream Help Trying to contact something again?

The picture alone probably suggests this is a bad idea but hear me out.

About 4 months ago I saw something in a dream that I've come to call "not-moose". I dreamt I was concealed with a shotgun in a blind in the snow- odd, considering I've never even been hunting- and this thing started approaching. It wasn't black like a shadow, it was as if the event horizon of a black hole had taken form. Void given shape, with just those two curious eyes and massive antlers to suggest a head. It approached me slowly and calmly. I unloaded 3 shots into it, and remember yelling: "that's not a moose. That's not a fucking moose!" Before it looked into my eyes. Its face approached mine, and it just stared, there was a loud hum, and it took up my entire field of vision. At that point my alarm woke me up.

I keep thinking about it, because while I was initially scared, it seemed much more curious than malevolent. It feels almost goofy or aloof looking back, so big but with such inquisitive neutral eyes. I've researched a lot about what it could be. From a pure psychoanalysis perspective, it's probably some fear or part of myself I don't want to confront. Spiritually, I can only really see it aligning with deities like Cernunnos, which is odd, considering that I have no strong connection to european paganism and live in New Mexico, United States.

Ultimately, if anyone has met not-moose, please tell me how I could maybe get in touch with it again. I'm not spiritual and have always considered myself a rational agnostic, but I feel very drawn to the being. It's something powerful, and I might learn something from it, or just find comfort in its presence.

I was in the sky, right on the edge of space, in some kind of futuristic jet/shuttle

When I looked out the window, above the clouds and in the midst of the bright white sky, there was this massive wing underneath me, attached to a weird UFO

On this UFO, were these strange metal fixtures? And each one looked unique, all painted with bright colors but with visible weathering and maybe even rusted. They all resembled fire hydrants/chess pieces, adorned with nubs and antennas, spikes and spheres. They were like if Daleks had miscarriages, weird little retro-futuristic knoblings

But rather than being outright alive, they appeared to be welded to the UFO. Stationary, but living. Almost like plants, or urchins

How did I know? Because they chirped at me, like robotic crickets. Something inside them seemed intelligent. They seemed friendly, even. I felt no hostility or ill will coming from them despite their strangeness

Each one of them chirped, they chirped together. All in harmony with one another, not in a particular rhythm but clearly in accordance

Anyway, I didn't get to see much after that. I never found out what they were, but I just really wanted to make a model of one

Apparently my mom has seen them too, even though I've NEVER heard about them prior, and let's be real this is way too specific for two people who live in the same house to just originally come up with. So if I am to believe dreams can be paranormal in any way, then I am going to make the daring guess that perhaps these things are real, and in some capacity, maybe I got to briefly communicate with them (even if it was short and involved no actual exchange of thought)

Nightmare Woke up scared and almost in tears

Heya all! First time poster here...Pretty new to reddit, I hope I'm doing this right-

Well 1st of all- this nightmare was on a whole other level of scary. It felt so real- like SO REAL. I remember all of it like a movie. I woke up panting and it took me a few minutes to realise that I was in my bed and not in danger. It's been a couple of days but it's still haunting me- so I thought I'd share it with you guys- jus so I could hear what y'all have to say...

Also just FYI, we used to rent this one house almost 6 years back... I never liked its vibe tbh... Had this weird spooky vibe to it. It was also very spacious but it always felt dim and cramped. Moved out because of that feeling and a few events and occurrences (I'll post about it later sometime)

Finally, dream time!

So in my dream, my family was still living in that house- but it was us at our present ages... Like we never moved out of there.

When the dream started, my friend, his girlfriend, some guy and some girl around our age (don't know those 2 people irl) were all in some kind of a classroom with motivation posters on the walls- then we went to some coaching institute of some sort and we were all preparing for this one extremely competitive exam (yes, even in my dream 😭). There was a flea market near the coaching institute and the guys wanted to buy fireworks from there and us three girls were asking them not to and this caused a HUGE argument among us... And there was punching- but it was so chaotic I don't even remember who punched whom- but then I was panicking a lot and physically FELT my lungs clenching and I was struggling to breathe. So everyone stopped fighting because of me and decided to drop me home.

There, my mom was cleaning the ceiling using a broom (like this 🧹) I had never seen before. I just assumed it was new and went to get some water. Just then, she asked me to come back and started bombarding me with questions like "why are you not asking about this broom?" "Why are you not bothered with this broom in our house?" Like really stupid questions which were all basically the same question being re-worded differently. It was a very blurry overlay of voices like in films- I got so annoyed and shut my ears with my hands and almost screamed at her to stop bc I was getting over stimulated (there were almost tears in my eyes at this point and I was having a small panic attack)

She then proceeded to pull out a vial of red liquid from a hidden shelf in the corner. She put it really close to my face and asked me if I had ever seen it before... I nodded a no and looked confused. She then proceeded to tell me that I was cursed at birth and that the vial of red liquid was actually blood from a cursed animal and if it ever touched me, I'd die a really painful death and that the pain would be more than any pain any human ever had to endure. I was extremely scared and trembling at this point. I asked her why she had it and she then explained how it was a magical vial and always remained in close proximity to me and that I had just been really lucky all along that the liquid never touched me. She handed it to my dad and then walked out of that place- my dad was then going to explain why I was cursed and all... He asked me to hold the vial as he washed his hands- I was scared and asked him if that would not hurt me... He assured me that as long as the blood did not touch me, I'd be fine. So I agreed hesitantly. Somehow there was a small hole that burned through the lid and a singular drop fell on my left palm. Then all my skin on my palm started coming close to that drop and a small needle sized hole burned through my hand- with a magical looking green light. Then another hole started but it was much worse and the hole started getting bigger and my palm fell off. Like literally broke apart and FELL OFF from my arm. My dad caught it and showed me how it looked on the inside. My arm then started to heal itself and just closed up the gap like nothing ever happened. I was just missing my palm. My dad took away the vial and held it in his other hand. He then looked back at the palm and just started explaining how there was no blood and how it all looked like a brownie that was mashed. The way it looked, it just reminded me of the monkey's paw. Ew. I'll make a drawing and attach it later if I can. I don't remember it paining at all then... I then started telling him how I wanted to end my life- and how living was not worth it coz I lost my arm!? (very irrational but yea wtv) He agreed pretty quickly and did not even TRY to convince me otherwise. And he said that he'd get me some pills that would just kill me easily and quickly. And he started to walk out- i stopped him and he turned around pretty slowly and scarily. I said, "get me anything to kill me, just NOT that blood from the vial" and then he gave me a very scary smirk...like the SCARIEST smirk EVER. I mean- that's something I've never seen... he looked at me as if he had already planned on how to kill me and his expression implied that he's gonna use the blood to kill me. And I just jolted awake from that... Sweating and tryna catch my breath. AND my wrist was paining really bad when I got up. I tried to massage it and had to use a spray to get rid of it. It pained the entire day that day.

What's so weird about this dream is the fact that I remember all of it (which is VERY RARE) and no one in my dream was acting like their true selves... My parents and I share a really good bond. They are the sanest people I know. My friends, both of them are really peaceful and always steer away from fights. I'm also sm who tries to keep their cool and I NEVER had a panic attack. I believe everything I experienced is what a true panic attack feels like- I'm talking about the internal reactions I was feeling during my dream... It just feels so out of place.

One of my friends keeps saying that this was never a dream but a parallel reality where that's all true... I woke up around 3:20 a.m. from this and she keeps saying it's the devil's hour and all of that. I don't believe it myself honestly...but again, idk man.

I've also been having a series of bad dreams. I'll probably write about them soon...

That's all I've got mates, please do share your views below. I'd love to read them!

Here's a cupcake for you for reading so far- 🧁

Lifelong insomniac having more regular, more frequent nightmares

Hey all. I've struggled with sleep my whole life, but I've been having an especially hard time lately. I'm used to six hours of interrupted sleep, but lately I'm lucky to get four hours any given night. I've been having more memorable nightmares than I used to, and tend to wake up every 30 minutes or so. This last week I've had three especially memorable nightmares which occurred one right after the other; is there any deeper meaning to these dreams? I'll describe them, but to me they're just expressions of my fear of heights and fear of overreacting... That being said, they're waking me up more often than before:

  1. I'd been hiking with someone, but near the top we got spooked and decided to run down-trail. Around a bend there was a stream running parallel to the cliff side. From that ledge climbed a skeletal, half-person half-animal humanoid staring right at me. I tried running, but the stream, the wet rocks, and the downward incline forced me to stop. I looked behind and saw it's yellow-hungry eyes and seven foot frame, and it was smiling. I tried to run again, but it laid its sharp claws into my shoulders and I woke up yelping at the pain.

  2. I dreamt I pushed someone down the stairs, and they broke their neck. Tried to pretend like nothing happened, and I rejoined my old rowing team. After a day on the water, my old coach, Conal Groom, singled me out for suspension. When I asked why, he said "cause you're a murderer" and smirked at me. Then I quit (again) and he tried to blackmail me [for context, that coach was a pedophile and I quit before all the allegations against him came out]

  3. I 'woke up' in the dream in a bed in the middle of a dank, dark alley. The bed was a loft three stories up with no room, no building. Tried looking for the ladder down, but looking toward an edge made the whole structure sway, like I'd crash to my death. No ladder to be found. I crawled to the middle of the bed and starfished my body to evenly distribute my weight. While lying there, I looked to the side to see two people slither out of their apartment onto the ledge outside, then fall to their deaths in a pile of bodies at the bottom of the alley. Saw the ladder after that, but couldn't move toward it.

Any thoughts are appreciated, sorry if it's a little disjointed, they're dreams and that's the best I can remember them. Thanks again, readers ❤️

Dream about library and animals

I had an insanely vivid, multi-layered dream recently that felt like a journey through different dimensions, and I wanted to share it here to see what you all think.

It all started in a desolate, seemingly endless library with no rules or instructions. There were other people there, but everyone was totally fed up and had completely given up on trying to find a way out because nothing ever worked. While exploring, I came across a talking rabbit. The rabbit explained that he and others were born there, but mentioned an "office" or higher-up entity that checked on the library's needs. The library itself felt ancient, complete with those old-school elevators with the collapsible metal zigzag gates. Unlike the others, I decided to step up and act as a library guide when a new group of people dressed in business-casual attire arrived.

I guided the business-casual group into another section of the library. Oddly, as we walked, we entered an open-air area with sky above us, yet we were still somehow inside the library. This area led to an infinite sprawling complex of apartment-like buildings. The people were so grateful that I had guided them, and the rabbit and other inhabitants thanked me, believing I was an actual official from the library office. But I had my own secret objective: I was searching for my cousin’s place to deliver a package. I searched everywhere, walking endlessly, but couldn't find the right spot. Eventually, I encountered my cousin, who told me her actual house wasn't in that area, but that she lived on top of a specific tall building nearby.

I climbed a winding spiral staircase that led me straight into a lush forest populated by animals. The animals greeted me and revealed that by navigating the library and solving its hidden "puzzles," I had actually helped restore their world. However, to return to my original reality, I was forced to complete a final trial. I had to choose between two paths/quizzes:

The Quiz of the Wolf

The Quiz of the Hamster

Unsure of what to pick, I asked the rabbit for advice. The rabbit told me, "The wolf is no longer young or agile enough—if I were you, I’d choose the wolf." Trusting him, I chose the wolf path, though a nagging voice in my head warned me that the rabbit was manipulating me.

My suspicion proved right. When I arrived at the "Wolf Stand," I didn't see a wolf—just a group of human-like figures stuck in space suits who had also chosen this path. I soon realized the terrifying mechanic of this realm: whenever someone became mentally unstable from the stress of being stuck, they literally transformed into the Wolf. When a wolf manifested, everyone had to run and hide in places a wolf couldn't reach. But because the wolf was once one of us, it knew all our usual hiding spots, making the game of hide-and-seek increasingly terrifying.

To survive, I learned about the "Mice Dens." I was instructed that when the wolf's threat level became too high, I needed to seek shelter in a specific White Mouse Den. (An odd detail here: throughout the earlier parts of the dream, I was female, but in this specific survival phase, I distinctly felt like I was male). There were several mouse stands around, but I finally managed to locate the white one. As I entered the den, it began physically engulfing me. Instead of feeling trapped, I felt this strange, overpowering sensation of being suspended and stretched between two distinct dimensions at once. Shortly after that inter-dimensional shift, the dream abruptly ended.

Recurring Dream Does anyone else have recurring ‘dream locations’ that evolve over the years?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone else experiences something similar.

For years, I’ve had recurring dreams that take place at a beach where my family has a vacation home. In real life, I know the place like the back of my hand, but in my dreams it’s always slightly different. The streets are changed, there are new buildings, hidden areas, and little details that don’t exist in reality.

What’s strange is that, over time, I’ve started to recognize it while I’m dreaming. I’ll suddenly realize, “Oh, I’m at Beach Name… except this is the dream version of Beach Name.” The dream just continues normally after that. I’m not lucid dreaming. I can’t control anything that happens or change the story, but I have this weird awareness that I’m in that specific dream place.

This dream version of the beach has been the setting for some pretty intense nightmares (tsunamis, being followed, weird mafia situations, everyone abandoning me), but also for really fun dreams. I’ve seen whales there, gone to circuses, driven around, and explored places that don’t exist in real life.

My latest dream was about visiting a circus there with some friends. At one point, I realized where I was and thought, “Wait, this is dream Beach Name, and we’re near an area I’ve never seen before. Let’s go explore.” And somehow, I got to discover a new part of it.

Has anyone else experienced recurring “dream locations” like this... places that are based on real locations but have become their own separate worlds over the years?
