Came back to the game after 2 years and I'm lost on the pinnacle power grind. Online it says that only mission with the little blue symbol will give pinnacle gear but I did one of the random missions with the green bonus loot on it and got gear that was above 450.

Could someone clarify this please? Also can the blue symbol mission be repeated on a character or are they per week like they used to be?

Yes i know, the live service just ended. But i got about a 1100 hours in Warframe and that is easily one of the most enjoyable games i've ever played and am looking for something similar. Always knew about D2 but never picked it up. Would it be worth to try and get some hours in to see if its for me?
Also, im gonna keep it fully F2P rn.

So I've had this prismatic warlock build for a while where I very easily have both woven mail and frost armor x5 up most of the time as well as having the smoke jumper set bonus. I'm wondering how all those DR percentages stack together and if it's even worth trying to add more DR on top of it (like 100+ class stat and the SE set bonus).

Legendary difficulty didn’t feel nearly as hard as it should’ve been. I was expecting something on par with Witch Queen’s legendary difficulty on its release. A lot of the script felt like AI too. The only new character I actually liked was Blue, and even then some of her lines felt like AI. The last couple gripes I have are that the campaign itself felt like it dropped in quality as it went on, and that it was just kinda… short.

In my opinion this DLC might be down there with Lightfall. Am I alone on this?

Hello I am wondering how does tiered gear work I really want the prophecy gear to spam ability and exodus down for survivable. And I don’t have a raid team so I’m locked out of some stuff, but I know I can get tier 5 gear from featured actives but prophecy isn’t featured rn is there still a way to get tier 5 gear and what’s a fast way to get high power level in high 400s rn

Just purchased it from the lectern of enchantment, however, it still says its called divine fragmentation, step 4 of 4. Is it done? On the guides its called the key to divinity.

I'm using Festival Flight with envious, found verdict with aggregate and gearshift and Parasite with catalyst.

Parasite activates no problem, but 50% of the time festival flight doesn't get reloaded, which means Parasite doesn't get reloaded either.

Am I missing something?

I got the catalyst for truth recently and used it for some boss dps. this is the best and easiest dps i have used so far. if you set up reapers tithe x4 and the truth exotic trait before dps, use prismatic for a weakening grenade and some unravel you can easily clear 60k dps in a 30 second phase. I almost one phased the ogre boss from grasp! this is also just using song of flame for the super for damage resist so I'm sure there is more room with a nova bomb or MataDoxia strand super. anyone else using truth for dps and have some more recommendations for more damage? i would love to finally one phase that ogre boss!

Hello!!! Im a returning player that left when final shape first released due to studies! I have so much to say so please bear with me here.

I was always a big fan of destiny especially since the destiny 1 demo. Me and my brothers at the first day of the taken king assigned a class in the game we would always choose till the end of time and we still have them today! We would take turns playing then and it was just a blast. Im just so so happy i got to have these moments and i wouldnt change them for the world! Im going off track sorry!

I left when final shape first released as i was saying but i had mastered every raid before that, my memory and brain helped me a lot with this! And when i returned a month ago and realized the games end. I bought every dlc and had a blast. I soloed every dungeon. Went back to the old raids and i got every renegades weapon because i love star wars +the weapons are so good. Im genuinely just hungry for so much more from this beautiful game my god. I liked when i learned an encounter and the reward i got for trying my best. Moving on, im genuinely so happy i got to be part of destiny 2 and as i will be moving on with my life i will remember it.

Getting prismatic and experimenting with it was genuinely just mind blowing, even more so when i learned of khvostov and still hunt. What beasts of weapons actually! I still love my broken red war ghostie though so that never changed. Its just wonderful and i appreciate it.

Point is, everyone who wants to play destiny 2? Try it now with the dlcs if possible! Its absolutely a blast and if you wanna be like me and do mostly everything that is possible by yourself? Go for it! Thank you destiny 2 and im quite happy its one of the games i got to experience.

With all that being said. Im curious if anyone disagrees or agrees with my statement? If so, why? Id quite love to hear all opinions(im quite a sucker for new dlc ideas too especially if they have to do with the dark timeline!)!

I like how it looks and really want it. It says complete Insight Terminus nightfall, but I don’t even know how to play the nightfall anymore with this new UI. I can choose insight terminus as a “mission” but there’s no matchmaking and it doesn’t really say whether or not it can drop from that. Is this weapon even obtainable anymore?

I am REALLY enjoying my melee glaive titan build rn. Wormgod + vexcalibur oh boy we hitting for damage. However I have noticed I have a significant damage drop off for flying or out of reach bosses. Anyone find a solution to this while rocking a full melee stat Titan build? Thanks guys!

I only played a couple of weeks during Edge of Fate when the whole gear tier thing started. I remember reading that the gear tier you get depends on both your light level and guardian rank.

Are there certain thresholds where you start getting mostly tier 5s from then on? I've noticed vendor gear has gotten up as my rank and level increased, but where else does this apply? Base world drops? Public events? Bonus portal drops?

I know is a lot but if someone has an article or a video that explains this, I would appreciate if you share it. I've been trying to find this information on my own but I have found conflicting answers.

I was wondering which aspect you people have been running/would run on a prismatic titan build taking advantage of the double wave combo mentioned in the title. I’m currently using knockout + thunderclap at the moment to take advantage of facet of courage but I’m also considering consecration since it no longer benefits from any sort of melee damage bonuses and could work independently of knockout (although it seems to get 0 boosts from facet of courage)

I just switch from sanguine.

Can someone help explain to me the difference. Or more specifically how exactly boots work.

Whats the dmg boost? Does it stack with things such as well? Does it give dps boost in healing rift like sanguine?

Have not seen such a "jump around" moments in D2 lost sectors. Currently doing Europa lost sector and Barrier just jumps away - shields up, cant get to it - reappears, do damage - he jumps away, get shields and health back and then comes back. . Servitors are so crazy ... you cant kill adds because they are shielded by servitors, so need to kill servitor.

Is it only me experiences cat and mouse game with champs or others have same problems ? Or you dont think its a problem ?

Hello! Just had a simple question that has been answered, albeit vaguely. I can't seem to get this weapon on the Terminal Overload at LH (Liminal Harbor?) I farmed a lot of this activity when it was rotated to this location but I kept getting the Void Shotgun. Really looking to make sure I am not wasting time grinding them out on rotation or if someone has gotten from any other source on neomuna. I like Terminal Overload as much as the next guy but at somepoint doing over 30 at LH and only seeing other weapons or armor is rough.

PS. I have used the terminal keys as well.

I’ve been confused on how power works in Destiny 2. I’m new and all the e gear I find is around 300 power and I don’t know how to get gear higher than that.

So I downloaded Destiny again after not playing for almost 5 years. I’m having tons of fun again and maybe want to buy some DLC. What DLC is worth buying and which is best not to buy?

Basically title. I started a fresh account a few weeks ago so I have no titles anymore but I play almost exclusively solo. What titles would you say are doable solo? I have a pretty good build at the moment and have solod the first three dungeons so far so I can keep up in harder content by myself.
