1. DART: I lost the phone at Downtown Carrolton Dart Station on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, while running to the last back-end door of the train.
1.1 The lost phone was not in any location I checked up to 30 minutes later.
1.2 No one answered the lost phone when called and the phone kept ringing until voicemail.
1.3 A fare officer recommended (1 hour after losing the phone) checking the DART Lost and Found (at Akard Station) on Thursday, July 16th, 2026.
1.4 The DART Lost and Found claims Security did not have a phone in their possession at 8 AM (when the office opens) on Thursday, July 16th, 2026.
1.5 A DART daily blog post indicates lost items are delivered to the office on Monday and Friday.
1.6 I called DART Lost and Found on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 9:53 AM who confirmed items aren't delivered until after 4 PM on Friday.
1.7.- I checked the DART Lost and Found on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM and at 4:50 PM.
1.7.a The employee claimed during the first check that there was a missing Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and to confirm the case color and lock-screen. Then, denied the existence of my phone and refused to view the pictures I had.
1.7.b The employee claimed during the second check there is not a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.
1.8 I checked the DART Lost and Found on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 4:50 PM. The employee claimed there was not any phones turned in since Monday, July 13, 2026.
1.9 I checked the DART Lost and Found on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10:25 AM. The employee claimed there were phones turned in since Wednesday, July 15, 2026, but none which matched the description I provided.
2. NETWORK: I have not been able to track the phone's location since 7 PM on Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 due to a carrier line transfer.
2.1.. Google Find Hub showed the device at 14% with the location off, which means I also enabled power saving prior to losing my phone.
2.1.1 Google Find Hub locked the phone and added a contact phone number to the lock screen (allegedly).
2.2.. Google Find Hub stopped working after my phone lost mobile data when
2.2.1 I attempted to log in to a Google Account requiring a verification code sent to my phone number.
2.2.2 My carrier does not let you access text messages from the dashboard.
2.2.3 I swapped my phone number to another phone in my possession.
2.2.4 These actions (in 2.2...) disabled the mobile data and phone number line on my lost phone.
2.2.5 My carrier cannot swap the service back to the lost phone due to how eSims work.
2.3.. Samsung SmartThings cannot find my device using Bluetooth pings.
2.3.1 My phone has Bluetooth enabled, but I do not remember enabling offline-tracking which uses Bluetooth to track the phone.
2.4.. My carrier cannot perform cell tower triangulation to locate the phone.
2.5.. DART police refuse to investigate a lost or stolen phone until time has passed.
2.5.1 Therefore, police refuse to perform cell tower triangulation to locate the phone.
2.5.2 Police recommended checking the DART office at Akard Station a few more days to find my phone on Thursday, July 16th, 2026.
3. EVIDENCE: I have requested security camera footage from DART.
4. ALTERNATIVE: I have reported lost phone claims with other people who may be in contact with the phone.
4.1 My carrier cannot report the IMEI of the lost phone.
4.2 I have reported the IMEI(s) of the lost phone to ecoATM in a phone call, and filled out the online form.
4.3 I have reported the IMEI(s) of the lost phone to the police.
