This receipt crochet blanket only contains products that I already crocheted as bags or pillows, I thought it would be a funny detail. I would have loved to include them all but the receipt is already long enough lol.

This was my first big crochet project, and it took me about six weeks to complete. When I started, each diamond took me around 45 minutes. By the end, I’d gotten it down to about 20 minutes each, which was really satisfying to see.

I originally started crocheting because I wanted something to do besides endlessly scrolling on my phone, and it ended up becoming one of the most relaxing hobbies I’ve picked up.

I’m pretty proud of how it turned out, especially for a first attempt!

Worked on it on and off for a little over a year. The wedding is in october, so now I will only maybe rearrange it a bit until I'm completely satisfied :)

I keep coming back to this vintage pattern. I made this previously, but ended up gifting it. I decided I needed one on hand for myself. Hopefully one day I will discover an aran crochet pattern I like as much.

Subbed the worsted weight this go around for bulky. This let the work build fairly quickly. I started this 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and completed it tonight. Now on to a tunisian colorwork project. Wish me luck 😭.

I posted this busted skein a few days ago and while we all had some great laughs about it, a lot of you told me to contact Lion Brand for a refund or replacement. At first I was hesitant because I was able to unwind the skein relatively easily and didn't think they would do anything, but they are sending me a new skein free of charge! Thank you all for the advice!!

I’ve been crocheting for YEARS (self-taught, not well 😌🤪) and until recently I thought that whenever a pattern says ‘Foundation Double Crochet’ it was just telling me to make my first row hahahah

anyway, I levelled up today 🙂‍↔️

I had plans for a much more simple baby blanket pattern for an expecting friend. But then someone had to go and post their finished version of this pattern and I was smitten. For the second time actually, since I had already saved the pattern to my favourites. So I just had to switch plans... the baby will probably be 6 month old when they finally receive their birth present - but it's so worth it.

The yarn is Tencel Bamboo double by Go Homemade in the colours petrol and off-white, and I used a 3mm hook. It's rather finicky to work with, but incredibly soft and cozy.

The pattern is "Under the Sea" by ComfortPatterns on Etsy.

I made it reversible by looking up some tutorials on YouTube.

I also linked the double crochets on the front side to get a denser fabric, but I'm not sure I'll do that again on future mosaic projects. It distorted the edges at the colour chages quite a bit.

Second ever sweater I’ve ever made, took me a long time and my first raglan as well. Pattern is freehanded, I just watched some YouTube tutorials on how a raglan should be measured and created before I started crocheting.

I just want to share my progress as a beginner crocheter because none of my real life friends crochet 😂

I've been practicing my magic circle and decided to make some flowers. On the left is my first attempt, the middle is the second attempt and on the right is my third attempt.

I'm super happy that it looks decent even though there are still mistakes like the sudden extra flower petal and the hole in the middle of the flower because my yarn tension was too tight 😅

When I first started, balancing a new hobby and my bachelor's thesis was a struggle. I even forgot to practice my crochet for a while until I forgot everything and have to relearn all the stitches and basics again.

But seeing this progress in just a month makes me happy so happy 🥹 it took a lot of practice and I almost given up but seeing the progress, it's definitely worth it ☺️

She is having her second baby and his nursery is star wars themed! I free-handed the R2D2 using silver, white, and blue yarn from the caron simply soft line and a 3mm hook. the blue pieces were all done using tapestry crochet, and i embroidered the front panels and buttons on. The “eye” is a button not a safety eye

the baby yoda lovey was less free-handed as I used multiple patterns for inspiration, namely the chupacabra pattern by rikki gustafson (for the head and ears) and the fox minilovey pattern (for the blanket portion) by one&two company. I freehanded the arms and sleeves. yarn used was loops and threads in sage for head/arms, mushroom for blanket, and dark brown red heart soft yarn. hook size was 4mm for head/arms and sleeves, and 6mm for blanket.

i’m really happy with how they turned out!

Last summer, a big spider hung out at my friend's work. He'd update me on her antics every time they crossed paths, and she became a part of our daily conversation. Eventually, she laid her eggs, and earned the name 'spider-momma'. She disappeared not long after, but I made this version of her so we could finally give her a good cuddle 😂

I was experimenting with this yarn since I have used it before and loved it. I wanted to try new stuff, so this is my first moss stitch blanket with a picot stitch border. I love it!! Easy and fun!!
