Hi everyone, I just completed my first year of B.Tech from a tier 3 college, and I'm literally feeling like crying after seeing my result 😭. My YGPA is 8.22 (8.30 in Sem 1 and 8.13 in Sem 2). I know I didn't study much in Sem 1, but I definitely studied more in Sem 2, so I really thought my SGPA would improve. Instead, it dropped. Then I see people around me getting 8.8 or 9+ even though they don't seem to study that much. I know I shouldn't compare myself, but I can't stop overthinking. Is 8.22 actually okay, or did I mess up?

Chose mnit jaipur chemical over iiits like kota,pune,nagpur cs,ece and msrit cs. Didn't had any interest in particular. Since software pays most after btech ofc ill prep for them alongside. Just wanted to have actual life in these 4 years since i never really enjoyed my school life much. Chemical core itself provides decent opportunities.

If a person get 1 cr in india as a fresher then how much would be based salary

why do people go to college ?? and pay for lakhs of fees

like where is the fees and time is worth it ??

not mess ,not lecture , not skills

like people earn skills from yt , goes to lecture for the 75% percent attendance , not learning any skills ,ending up learning skills from yt for placements

like cant u learn these skills in 2-3 years from self study and 1 year max job hunting ??

and get a better job in this economy ,because i have heard that companies are giving more importance to skills

I'm trying to make a simple website for someone preparing for NEET. The idea is to upload a question paper PDF and take it in a CBT interface similar to the JEE Main/NTA portal, with a 180 minute timer, question palette, navigation, and a submit option.

I tried building it with AI, but I couldn't get it working properly. If anyone has experience with web development and is willing to help or guide me I'd really appreciate it.

Hello seniors . I am currently preparing for JEE because I don not have any specific interests as such and since engg is a versatile career I want to figure it out during my btech I have a few questions abt engg if u could kindly answer:

Since everyone is now blindly choosing CSE nowadays it has become supersaturated also the recent layoffs have me worried. I as a student never had any good interest towards computers and coding but electronics mechatronics civil etc interest me . So how is the scope for these branches in India? I want to work here instead of being SDE/ coder etc.

Also most engineers are settled in places like Bangalore, Gurugram etc. but I do not want to live in these Tier 1 cities, rather would live a quiet life in Tier 2/3. Is that possible?

How viable is it nowadays to get a J1/green card visa after doing Btech? is it only possible at FAANG? Also Im okay with having PR of other countries like canada, aus or germany etc so how it is possible through btech?

Also what is a actually lasting career within scope of engg like a stream whose value grows with age, allows u to work upto 50-60 age etc.and which have job security.....

I know in the comments most ppl would just tell me to study work hard but I need to know what I am working towards and gain clarity yk.......

My main priority is a really good camera, but I also want decent gaming performance. I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything, just want games to run smoothly without too much heating or lag.

So i got a text on the fiveer saying he had a job offer for me and for a fresher like me he offered $1200/month and i thought it was a scam and tired to find his linkedin which i did get and he was like that was him ,he even gave his ph number so called him his accent was not like. Scamer but i still felt the scammy vibes and when I asked for JD it has some bs and since it has no mention of the company I asked for the company in the call and he said he worked for some third party companies and was hiring for onsen and when I asked about technical skills he was "You need Go od communication skills" and i again asked "what about technical stuff?" He replied "u take care of the technical stuff it's easy but u must be good with English since we will be talking to us clients".
