Hey r/JEE,
A quick update on The Peer Project - the free, student-run peer mentoring initiative we shared here recently.
Batch 1 of our first cohort is up and running.
We have set up mentoring channels matching class 11, class 12, and dropper students with senior mentors who cleared the exam and are currently in college. The focus is purely on strategy, time management, clearing backlogs, and consistency - mentors won't solve homework, but they will help structure the daily stuff better.
Since we received a lot of applications, we're staggering the rollout into three batches (Batch 1 today, Batch 2 on July 22nd, and Batch 3 on August 1st) to ensure every match is hand-picked. If you applied, we will update you as soon as your match is ready.
For those curious, we made our cohort guidelines public:
We really appreciate the support and applications from this sub. Good luck to everyone with their prep today!

India is said to be the largest democracy in the world. It is fondly called the "Loktantra ka Mandir". Well, look at its pity state!!

Guys, let's make this video reach more people so that the authorities and lawyers handling the case can see it.
This man was brutally beaten and deserves justice. He's not getting enough attention on social media, so I'm requesting everyone to share this and help make his story more visible.
Please send this to Instagram pages that are covering the protests and raising awareness about the case. Every share can help bring more attention to what happened.
He deserves justice

So I was at a barber shop getting a haircut and there was a TV that was showing the News about the protest at jantar mantar and there were two people in their 40s waiting for their turn and the news was like "Protestors ne utpath machaya... Police ka lathi charge... (And all that)"
Then One of them was like "Aur lathi marni chahiye thi in bh-------- ko, are paper leak ho gaya to ho gaya, kya hua? Wapis ho to gaya paper, dedo firse"
And then i thought to myself " Yeh banda pagal vagal hai kya? Ise pata bhi hai paper leak kya hota hai..."
And i realised ki ye desh bohot buri tarah fas chuka hai, and people who are andhbhakts are really stupid. Hopefully people can get over this. And to all the people at the jantar mantar, All the best....

I scored 87.4%ile in JM26
I took drop on 16th July 2027 with Prayas 2.0. I had 1 month of backlog which is not much of a problem to cover but due to that i will lack question solving as i need to watch 4-5 lectures+Dpps daily.
Now i have 2 options,
Blue Pill: Continue watching lectures from Prayas 2.0 and do syllabus by end of december, Solve pyqs after the end of each chapter +give tests after syllabus completion and in between somehow without full syllabus coverage.
Red Pill: Start doing One Shots of chapters from Manzil/PW and then Solve 100+ Pyqs of every chapter and then focus on Full Mock tests from Nov(By mathongo) and give part tests regularly too. Only do weak topics through lectures from Prayas 2.0 2026.
Which Pill should i choose? Pls ex-droppers and current droppers give me suggestion. Im really confused🙏
