This happened when I was young and stupid. I got charged for a weed pipe, didn’t do any of the things I needed to do to get it dismissed, and now it’s on my record as a conviction. It’s a Class C Misdemeanor. I have my interview for an OMR job coming up next week and I’m unsure if I should bring this up or not. Should I even be concerned? Do yall think this will be an issue and potential disqualifying factor?

Ok been on light duty since April. Went to my orthopedic in May with MRI results to go over had two choices conservative treatment or surgery. The doctor agreed with the radiologist for MRI results. After two months with PT swelling and pain are at a minimum now but still have some pain. Orthopedic sent me to a specialist sports orthopedic. Saw him today and he said I could go back to work full duty for a month and will see me again for a recheck and if it still bothers me then surgery. So is this normal? Both doctors disagree with the MRI results.

Hello, I am currently a stower. I scanned a product at 1:48 am and scanned my second product at 2:18 AM. However, my PA called me to the desk and said I was inactive from 1:25-2:18 AM, because that what the TOT system says. I literally told her I scanned something at 1:48 to start my break. (She even clicked the “Activity Details” and she saw her self that I scanned that product around that time I said.)

I also scanned something at 1:37 AM before I went on my break too.

So I am confused.

So, I was going to apply to an entry level role and the screen took me to an ID upload and selfie, then to an online assessment that requires audio to record your voice???!! What the fuck? It's fucking amazon.....anyone else agree or?

Sick of these mf shipdock chasers on their radios telling me what to close and stage when they don't even have a pallet jack. They do the bare minimum beyond relaying "hey we need x" then get pissy when you say no or that you're busy with something else. At the very least they should be wrapping and closing the fkin pallets they're bugging you about.

I thought a chaser's job was exclusively to y'know, chase after pallets with CPTs. Not parrot orders from the shipclerks. Mfs get their hands on a radio and let it get to their head. Process guides don't even have their heads that high up their asses 😂

So i'm going on vacation from Thursday to Sunday which is also coincidentally my schedule, It was sprung onto me out of nowhere so I didn't have time to properly shift swap or post cover. I have 20 hours of UPT and 10 hours of PTO, covering me for the first 3 days, but i'm shit out of luck for Sunday. I don't know what to do and I really don't wanna cancel plans just for a single day that I can't go to work.

Edit: So i just went to my job when i wasn't scheduled and asked a manager, and dude took off my entire schedule. If there's a God out there, it's that guy

TL;DR i tried to request a week off before the schedules were made, schedule gave me the week i asked for off without withdrawing from my PTO balance. manager opened ticket and allegedly they told him “i just wasnt added to the schedule yet but thats subject to change” but ive never heard of that before.

a few months ago i was invited to go on vacation with my boyfriend and his family, and when i went to request the days off, there was no schedule even available for august yet. if i recall correctly i was clicking on the days and still trying to put in a PTO request but since there was no schedule put out yet i couldnt complete the request (for context i am full time blue badge and on a consistent schedule). i figured i would just wait a month or so for them to update the schedule so i could request the days. anyway, last week i decided to try and put the PTO request in but when i looked at the schedule i just so happened to not be scheduled for the days i tried to request off. which then made me run into the same issue i had before of not being able to make a request on a day that im not scheduled. i checked my vacation time balance and they didnt take any time away either. i was afraid of this being a glitch because last year my scheduled glitched during prime and removed all my MET, and when i checked with HR they said i was in fact scheduled and if i didnt show up i wouldve lost UPT even though it was a system glitch. unfortunately we no longer have onsite HR for me to ask about this, so i asked my manager to open a ticket for me to look into the issue to see if im actually scheduled or not. i let him know that i did try to request these days off but it wouldnt let me actually submit a request, if that would have affected anything. i told him that if possible i would LOVE to not be added back onto the schedule if possible but i know thats a stretch, because that would just mean i can go on the vacation without losing any of my PTO. so allegedly, my manager went through with the ticket and they said that i “am just not scheduled for that week, but there is a chance they will add me back onto the schedule as the week gets closer”. to me that makes no sense, i have never heard of them just not scheduling people, but then again why would my manager lie to me? i asked him in like 5 different ways to confirm that if its still saying im not scheduled to work when those days come that if i dont come in i wont be penalized and he was basically just confirming it and he told me to screenshot and document everything now so that if the time comes and they do take my time ill have proof. this whole situation just doesnt seem right to me, but if i reach out to online HR chances are they will just add me back to the schedule and ill have to use my vacation time. so im just kinda stuck between hoping my manager isnt lying to me and potentially getting out of using 40 standard PTO hours, or going through online HR and having them most likely add me back to the schedule and then id have to use my vacation time. I KNOW IM BEING GREEDY ABOUT THE VACATION TIME TRUST I AM AWARE. but seriously if this could work out in my favor itd be a blessing LOL. anyway does this seem normal to any of you? is it normal for them to just not schedule all of their employees? is this most likely a glitch and my manager is lying to me? thank you for reading if you made it this far and please let me know your thoughts on if i should trust my manager or bite the bullet and open an online HR case about it.

Me and my sister were wondering if my sister could ever get her job back at Amazon. So basically my sister had already gotten hired on and everything but missed the first day and never went for days after because she assumed she had already lost her job for not going in (I know). That was back in like November. Do you think if she were to apply again during peak, if she would be considered again or would she be banned for not showing up? She wants to work there now since she sees how much money I’m making but scared they wouldn’t let her. Has anyone been through this? And how did it work out for u?

as of 7/21 ive have finally been freed from the shackles of my 90 day written and I have to say it was the most stressful time of my life to never know if you have a job the next day I’m glad I was able to get through it some of those write ups was definitely my fault boneheaded moves and other yea let’s just say they on bs either way lesson earned and I can finally put that mess behind me it took at a lot less talking than i wanted and putting my head down more and it was hard because I’m definitely who just likes to yap a lot. But in some causes it was easier my building recently started doing same day a few months back so they put me on it damn near day I work which I don’t complain because management involvement is very little so they aren’t breathing on my back 24/7 so I spend the first half of the day in a little circle until it time to go back and blend in with others anyway I’m glad those 90 days are over 😂😂
