Before lunch I approached him and asked to talk. He obliged and I told him that i didn't appreciate how he dealt with me earlier. He didn't know what I was talking about. I reminded him, he apologized and said I don't deserve that and that he was acting out of line. He said I'm a great associate and he doesn't want me to think of him as someone who would yell at me consciously.
I said thanks we did a fist bump and it's over now 😅

I’ve been at Amazon for almost 3 years now, I don’t cause trouble I follow the rules. Today I left early and went through security and saw NO security guards standing around. I went through and then randomly a security guard popped up while I was already scanned out of the door and told me I can’t walk through there like that with nobody around and that I need to come back through and walk through, I will be honest I told the man I had a rough day and I’m not doing all of that but I have my phone sticker he said let me see I showed him the sticker and he said next time you shouldn’t do that I understood but his tone was really rude so I told him not to approach people like that cause it’s not necessary. Now, I know I could possibly for not turning around, but i genuinely wanna know if something like this has ever happened and yall were fine. Nothing really escalated but I felt picked on because normally I always just walk through most of the time…I see no guards. He also wasn’t around like at all I saw nobody.

I was what everyone thinks i always hear TomTeam is one of the hardest L3 positions to get to on at Amazon I don’t how hard it is to with the other L3 positions

as of 7/21 ive have finally been freed from the shackles of my 90 day written and I have to say it was the most stressful time of my life to never know if you have a job the next day I’m glad I was able to get through it some of those write ups was definitely my fault boneheaded moves and other yea let’s just say they on bs either way lesson earned and I can finally put that mess behind me it took at a lot less talking than i wanted and putting my head down more and it was hard because I’m definitely who just likes to yap a lot. But in some causes it was easier my building recently started doing same day a few months back so they put me on it damn near day I work which I don’t complain because management involvement is very little so they aren’t breathing on my back 24/7 so I spend the first half of the day in a little circle until it time to go back and blend in with others anyway I’m glad those 90 days are over 😂😂

If you talk down to people like they are dogs or complete idiots and say condescending things to them at start-up, the shift talks about you and considers you an asshole.

This is not a military base. This is a workplace and people (everyone!!) deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, not just personally, but also on a group level.

Go hug a dog or something before you clock in. Do some mindfulness exercises. Rip a cig. Do whatever you need to not be an absolute dick to people who you are depending on to push volume through your warehouse and end your miserable day.

We are all here for the same damn reason so you might as well play nice. THANK YOU.

Me and my sister were wondering if my sister could ever get her job back at Amazon. So basically my sister had already gotten hired on and everything but missed the first day and never went for days after because she assumed she had already lost her job for not going in (I know). That was back in like November. Do you think if she were to apply again during peak, if she would be considered again or would she be banned for not showing up? She wants to work there now since she sees how much money I’m making but scared they wouldn’t let her. Has anyone been through this? And how did it work out for u?

Unfortunately I’m back to ask the people questions that HR folks aren’t seeming to be answering properly (or making things confusing for me.)

So, I guess for the record it seems like people who already had/have a bachelor’s degree (prior to working here) cannot apply to get an Associate’s or getting credit-bearing certifications. It seems like the only options are just career pathways in Career Choice.

I’m having trouble seeing and understanding what Non-Credit Bearing pathways are available that I can utilize.
I’m coming into a problem where every time I use the “School Discovery Tool”, I’m being referred back to certificate bearing programs.
I don’t know if it’s just me not knowing how to properly use the page, but I’ve spent time talking and trying to hear back from someone in HR about this issue and have only been told to “just use the school discovery tool”.

Brother (or Sister), I’ve been trying but I clearly cannot apply to any of the ones recommended as they are “credit-bearing”. 🫩

Has anyone done any Non-credit pathways? How is one able to find them in the Career Choice tab? Any advice or suggestions will help. Specially with maneuvering through the “School Discovery Tool” properly (if there’s a way). I’m pretty sure I’m probably overlooking or maybe not understanding which is what, so any clarification on how to find those “non-credit pathways” will help.

Hello I've been at Amazon for 8 months now. The main issue I have is pain. I walk about 12 miles a day in the warehouse and my feet are killing me. I wear compression socks, shoe insoles, take over the counter pain meds, and use aspercreme (a pain reliever cream). Nothing is really helping. I constantly get blisters on my feet and my toes are killing me especially. My ankles used to hurt but I've gotten used to that. I'm really trying to find out how to lessen the pain on my toes and the bottom of my feet. Right now I take a 10 minute bathroom break every hour. I don't like doing that because I don't want to get TOT (time off task). Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I kinda like the flexibility of Amazon and I do want to stay for a little while.

Just wondering if any of the facilities bale and recycle the cardboard boxes? Every place i have worked we baled and recycled. My facility just throws them in the trash compactor. 🤔
