General Watered down 10mm loads is what's holding back the caliber from being more popular and more guns being made for it.

Most 10mm ammo sold is loaded to old fbi spec that is basically 40s&w that cost alot more. Alot of people really do think that 10mm dosnt do much more damage than 9mm,40 and 45 acp because of this. Most of 10mm including hollow points I've found at bass pro and most other gun stores is claiming to sling a 180 grain round at only about 1000 to about 1100 fps. When properly loaded ammo should be 1200 -1300 fps +.

Ive seen many big gun youtubers ignorant to this also. Ive seen penetration test videos where 9mm FMJ has out penetrated 10mm FMJ Or the 9mm hollowpoint almost does almost as much damage as a 10mm hollow point because it was watered down. Alot of young people getting into guns see these videos and think why would they want something that cost more and dosnt perform much better.

10mm ammo should be loaded near 357 mag levels or it kind of defeats the purpose all together IMO.

SLR Rifleworks Flared Magwell for G20 Gen 4 not good

I bought the SLR Rifleworks flared magwell for my G20.4, and ended up returning it. The stock baseplates cause the mags not to fully seat, and the front of the magwell doesn't have a strong lockup/fit on the front of the grip. The look is amazing, but functionally, its a no-go. SLR did say on their website that they recommend their baseplates because some stock magazines won't seat with the stock baseplate. I find this to be super strange. Why make a magwell that doesn't work with OEM baseplates??? I have six G20 mags, and I would have to spent another $180 just to replace all the baseplates in order to get the magwell to work? Very strange design choice

I got hit in the stomach with a 180 grain 10mm rated 1300 fps If I remember correctly.
It stopped inside my body they had to cut it out.

For everybody worried about over penetration. Now my experience may vary from others. That is all.
