We recently rolled out a new system at work and it reminded me of something.

People don't resist software.

They resist changing routines they've used for years.

The software itself was fine. The hardest part was helping people feel comfortable enough to stop doing things the old way. Communication ended up being just as important as the technology.

While researching rollout strategies, I came across platforms like iTacit that companies use to share updates and training during transitions.

What's been your experience? What helped people embrace a new system instead of immediately looking for ways around it?

I'm struggling with Corona's design (slides 1-3). It's frustrating, since Aria (slide 5), her counterpart and lover, was so easy in comparison...

Any crit and help would be greatly appreciated! Slide 1 is her current design, and I most likely intend to keep her face covered with a cartoony star. I just can't seem to nail this "divine galaxy mother" feeling... My favorite piece I've ever done with her is from 2023 (last slide) - she's not the figure, but rather the yellow eye silhouette and everything else.

But onto some details!

Corona is the mother of the World. She may seem docile, but she's quite posessive and usually gets away with her intrusions on her child's privacy by claiming she's helping. She can morph into a nebula to disguise herself.

She's meant to be a capricorn/amaltea inspired divine creature, one that nurtures but isn't quite in touch with anything. She holds great power, but doesn't listen. Her ultimate sins are apathy and enabling. Her eyes are either closed or covered, because she gave them away to her children (referencing how you can lose your vision during pregnancy). Once you learn how much she sacrificed for her loved ones it's hard to feel bad for her, but when she continuously refuses to listen to her children and their actual needs, well... she becomes an immovable object.

I want her to be a towering, divine presence - seeming kind and gentle-seeming, but also removed, distant.

I included a general moodboard on slide 6. I rarely make ones this big, so it only goes to show how frustrated I get with Corona...

I am visiting family out of town, and went to a used bookstore today. It’s one of those stores where there are so many books it’s overwhelming, and they’re all used. Three floors of it.

The Stephen King section seemed limited to hardcovers, and the older editions of The Shining, IT and Carrie were too worn or damaged for my liking. I did, however, find a (Book Club exclusive?) copy of Secret Windows in hardcover. It was in good shape, and I was going to buy it for my collection, but I didn’t have my phone to check its value.

The owner wanted $40 Canadian for it. I considered it, but put it back.

Now that I’m back home, I see that it’s $80 on Amazon and around $65 plus shipping on eBay.ca. I guess I should have bought it.

Hab ne neue Growlampe gekauft, angekommen ist in dem Packet eine offensichtlich schon aufgerissene und wiederverpackte Lampe, welche sogar schon eventuell zum 2. Mal wiederverpackt wurde keine Ahnung.

Mir passiert so etwas leider nicht zum ersten und auch nicht nur zum 3. Mal (natürlich nicht nur bei dem selben händler) und mich macht es einfach nur noch Wütend. Es ist total unprofessionell und ich habe für so was einfach keine Toleranz mehr.

Ich habe den Händler Angeschrieben, dass ich eig. Neuware erwartet habe und ich hoffe dass, möglichst jetzt eine Lösung gefunden werden müsste.

Fühle mich schon etwas verarscht mittlerweile.

Übertreibe ich und ich hab einfach immer nur Pech mit meinen Bestellungen, oder macht ihr auch immer wieder die Erfahrung B Ware für den Vollpreis zu bekommen ?

I am unsure what generation of E-Bike I have here, but I would like to repair and use this bike. I am being offered $250 for this bike. The problems are as follows: cracked screen and failing brakes. I would like to work on this bike and get it up and running. I mainly would like to know how I could replace the brakes and screen. Is there an outlet that sells standard parts for the brakes? Hi everyone,

I'm posting here because my girlfriend has been targeted by someone on Steam, and we're looking for advice on whether there's anything else we should do.

Out of nowhere, this person started claiming that he has nude photos of my girlfriend and began making disgusting sexual comments about her. We know for a fact that these claims are completely false.

What's even more confusing is that we have absolutely no connection to this person. We have zero mutual friends, he's not an ex or someone either of us has ever known, and as far as we can tell, the only thing we have in common is that we're from the same country. We have no idea why he targeted her.

We immediately reported the account to Steam Support. Steam has acknowledged the report, and we're currently waiting for the outcome.

I have:

• Screenshots of the harassment.
• The harasser's Steam profile ID.
• A screenshot of Steam Support confirming they received the report.

I'm not posting those publicly right now to avoid violating subreddit rules or exposing personal information, but I can provide them to the moderators if needed.

My main questions are:

• Is there anything else we should do besides reporting the account?
• Has anyone dealt with a similar situation on Steam?
• If Steam issues a community ban, does that usually prevent someone from continuing this kind of harassment?

Thankfully, no money has been demanded, and this doesn't appear to be a typical financial sextortion scam. Instead, it seems to be a case of targeted sexual harassment involving false claims and intimidation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm a 29-year-old woman, and I've never really been in a healthy romantic relationship.

The only experience I had ended up being traumatic. I was sexually assaulted, my feelings were manipulated, and I was ultimately betrayed. It took me a long time to heal from that, and since then, I haven't been in a relationship.

Right now, I'm a medical student. I spend most of my time studying, and because I started university later than most people, my classmates are noticeably younger than I am. Between my schedule and my circumstances, I honestly don't know where or how to meet someone who's looking for a serious, long-term relationship and whose lifestyle is compatible with mine.

I'm not interested in casual dating. I'm hoping to build a genuine relationship with someone who wants a future together.

For those of you who found your partner later in life, where did you meet them? What would you recommend to someone in my situation?

Lately, the loneliness has been really hard, and I'd truly appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

Basically what the title says. The WireView Pro 2 has been nothing but a headache since i got it. First month, the fan makes horrible grinding and rattling noises, contacted thermal grizzly four times, no response. Said whatever, turned the fan off. Now, it wont detect 2 of the pins, constantly throws off “Load imbalance” warnings on 7 different cables, in which before they reported perfect pin balance. No clue what the issue is, but I am on the verge of just throwing this thing out.
