Surgery is scheduled months out. The implication of that would mean halting my life for months, which just isn’t realistic. And, again, this COULD turn into an emergency situation, but that doesn’t mean it absolutley WILL. But, every place I would possibly go would have a hospital with GI surgeons. And as one of the most commonly performed (but also very serious) procedures, there wouldn’t be a reason for temporary agoraphobia on account of this issue.

Because I was a (gasp!) TOURIST! 😅🤣

But for real! Reddit is a GREAT forum for us to have these discussions, but arbitrary and rude “bans” are just silly.

There’s doctor review sites. I’d look up the surgeons at the hospitals in Wilmington and google them and try to find some feedback.
