I found this cute little creature on a hike and was wondering if anyone knew what it was called? It looks more like it would be in the moth family to me but I can't be sure.

Some are attached and they are surprising fast. I thought tick larva but I’m still finding some unengorged after a week which doesn’t seem right. They so small as to be barely visible.

ID Request can someone tell me what kind of a worm is this? i found it near my cat and i’m worried it did something to her, it was moving just like a worm before and then proceeded to turn into a coil like thing

ID Request Set up a shot of two beetles on a reed, ended up with four — and I can’t identify the fourth [OC]

I set this up for two — a red ladybird near the top of the reed and a flea beetle further down, both working along the same stem. Then a damselfly flew straight through the background at the exact moment I pressed the shutter, which made three.

When I got home and pulled the files up on screen I saw the fourth: something small and pale sitting right on the ladybird's rear end.

I genuinely don't know what it is. iNaturalist has suggested everything from Hesperomyces harmoniae, a parasitic fungus that grows on ladybird elytra, to Hexapoda, which basically means "something with six legs". My own guess is a larva, or possibly a very small beetle. Would welcome any input.

I live in Denmark btw! If that helps.

Denmark in the south-west area of the country. From a video i got it’s a bit bigger than the size of the nail on my thumb? So i’d guess 1,5cm-2cm in length. from head to wing-tip.

Please help me. Over the last month I've found at least 3 of them in my flat. I'm scared I'll have to deep clean everything and throw away all of my food.

I dont mind bugs, i took him outside, but I'm worried there will be a lot of them in my flat.

I'm in Austria, Europe if that helps!

I'm from Goiás, Brazil, and found it in the middle of the industry where I work. There are trucks loaded with grains everywhere, but I found it under a mango tree.

What kind of bug is this?

Saw a brown caterpiller using this leaf cocoon almost like a snail shell. About two inches in length. I see these things hanging on the walls all the time, I didn't know they had worms in them. What is this little guy?

Northern IL. Just noticed these today. Any idea what they are? I'm leaving the plant outside until I get a positive ID. I can't figure out how to add another video of the larvae. Thanks.

i’m currently in new york (just got home from a flight from atlanta) and also my roommate has a cat. the cat was sitting right near where i found the bug, not sure if it came off of him or what. it doesn’t look like a tick or flea to me but i’m a little worried so any identification would be appreciated! it’s tiny with a clear and red/black body. also didn’t see any others.
