Hello guys, can someone here please help me identify this bug? It’s been crawling around my ceiling and walls for the past few days… I’m pretty sure it can fly as well. It’s roughly 1.5cm in length (+/- 0.2cm) and I live in East Asia.

i’m currently in new york (just got home from a flight from atlanta) and also my roommate has a cat. the cat was sitting right near where i found the bug, not sure if it came off of him or what. it doesn’t look like a tick or flea to me but i’m a little worried so any identification would be appreciated! it’s tiny with a clear and red/black body. also didn’t see any others.

What in the name of all that is holy is this thing?

I crushed it hard between my fingers when I picked it up, and although it’s dead, it didn’t smoosh. Guessing it’s a tick?

Found in northern Illinois. It's a little over an inch long. I'm a big enough fan of Egyptian mythology to recognize a scarab, but didn't know that they could be found in the states.

They attach to the stem right under a flower bud and suck the life out of it until wilted. They emit a foul odor when grabbed. I’ve also found them on calendula and tomatoes, but cosmos seem to be their favorite in my garden. Location: New Mexico, USA.

First picture is the best I could get before killing the thing. I’m freaked out and need to know what I’m dealing with!

These decimated my milkweeds overnight in Minnesota. I know they are caterpillars, probably the kind birds avoid. What species are they? I never saw any eggs.

Moving into a new place (Sydney Australia) that’s furnished with a bed and found some bugs. First two photos I have no idea but worried about bed bugs obviously, it wasn’t alive from what I can tell. I found at least four more that looked like the last two photos, which from googling I think might be carpet beetle larvae? One of them was alive.
