I love stumbling upon these beauties.

While on my morning walk, found this beautiful one who had passed away. Felt wrong to leave it on the sidewalk so I moved it under a tree in the grass. Would love to know if it was male or female, and how to tell 😊

Is this what I think it is? In Georgia, USA, it’s in my backyard garden and while I was watering some droplets got its webs and it shot out fast asf to attack. It’s actually really big. Should I kill it because I do have young kids.

This is a nice, not cheap brand of home products and I do not understand why they did not put dragonflies or butterflies instead of them...

Is it a female? I read that females can have an orange/yellowish coloring instead of the green. Or is the ID off?

If I would have to pick a favorite, I think it would be a tie between the southern hawker, the hummingbird Hawk-moth and the european hornet (queen?)

I put a umbrella up to shield my cucumbers from my in-wall air conditioning unit, and this little guy spooked me when he suddenly moved when I was checking my plants on top of the AC

I know he's some sort of darner fly, I'm just not sure which kind. I'm in central Iowa.

I would prefer if it was a real book but websites or whatever works too

Professor Google told me it was a brown prionid, which would seem to track with my finding them this morning in SE Michigan when I was moving an old pile of oak, cherry, black locust, and assorted brush (my neighbors find insect habitat unsightly).

hello. so a couple days ago i noticed a jumping spider smaller than a crumb in my kitchen. i said hello little guy and moved on with my day. then yesterday i noticed at least a dozen, and today over 20 of them. they are mostly attracted to my kitchen window. they dont bother me but im worried about them having enough to eat. will they eat each other? should i move them outside or will they be ok to stay inside? i dont wish to kill them or harm them, i just want them to be able to live and be healthy. i dont really want them as a pet necessarily, but i want to make sure they are cared for. thanks for any advice.

I just want to know what kind is this~ it's beautiful and I never seen one before. I'm in Quebec, Canada.
