Everybody hates vibe coded projects and AI art, but everybody loves free CC0 shaders... so I vibe coded a free CC0 ai shader art platform for everyone to feel conflicted about!
glslop is an intentionally janky looking project built on good bones and my many years of shader, software, and web work. The core offer is that everything is CC0 and the API is open, so glslop is friendly to build on and remix for commercial use, instead of everyone trying to work around Shadertoy's API restrictions and pretending the shaders there aren't mostly CC BY-NC-SA or MIT. Now, do I think LLMs appropriately respect IP with their training and output? Not really! But as long as they're being used to generate shaders I kind of think most or all of that output belongs in the public domain. So imo go ahead and use those heavily subsidized LLMs to dig through their stolen weights for cool shader knowledge and share it on glslop for everyone else to use!
Every shader on glslop can be forked remixed and used commercially, imported to ISF compatible software like Synesthesia, VDMX, DiPiVJ, and more. There's also a video export system that can randomize the controls for you and has a randomize button which means you can play VJ clip gachapon with your favorite shader slop.
I'm also viewing this as a public dataset we can build and then explore for info like what functions are most used and what styles do people prefer etc.
Sign ups are open and again everything is free I'm really not selling shit here, if anything I'm just signing myself up for a server bill lol but thankfully I know how to build and host things very efficiently. New accounts submissions land in the moderation queue which mostly exists to make sure people don't copy paste Shadertoys into glslop. There's a lot more I could say but it's probably on the website so just go check it out or just ask.
TLDR for the extremely lazy vibe coders: just tell your ai agent to read glslop.com/llms.txt and make cool shaders (and then sign up and make an api key so your llm can publish them)

Is there anyone who can help me source good oversized Sun and Moon (separate Clips) to add to a set

Update: Just added a new loop to the bundle. Still updating monthly, so anyone who's already grabbed it gets the new drops included at no extra cost. If you're on the fence, this is a good time to check it out since the pack keeps growing.

I'd like to share a tool I developed that allows AAF import and export from and to Ableton Live. I started this project because I do a lot of composition work and often wanted to hand over from or to Resolve or Premiere. It’s called AAF Bridge and converts aaf to als and back.
It's sample-accurate, transports markers fades and crossfades, volume and pan automation. MXF-audio is automatically transcoded to wav. It also has a crossfade correction option for NLEs / DAWs that map crossfades symetrically on the joint to stay acoustically correct, which I’m quite prod of. Also works with XML and FCPXML.
If you have suggestions or issues, please let me know. Any feedback is appreciated!

Hey everyone!
Im a long time music producer and DJ, and im dipping my toes to my make own 3d/hyper-realistic, real-time rendered visual/light shows for when I DJ.
I've been using MXR Pro for a week or so, and although it works well enough, I find it a bit janky, compared to native UE5 (let alone 5.8). I was able to get some satisfactory results with some really cool scenes out of it so far. But... I would love to do the same, or better, within UE5.8.
Im interested in any tips or plugins for routing the line input going into my external audio card from my mixer to be a modulation source for parameters within native UE5.
Im also a UE5 noob and I could not for the life of me figure out how to implement the built-in "audio capture" tool into the scene!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Bonus proof of concept video included (MXR). Not my music. Track Name: Already Dead (Original Mix), by Nexus.

New track, new video. Made in Ableton with Videosync. Once again, I make heavy use of ableton’s crossfader mapped to a fader on my Faderfox UC4 to control two different sets of video “instruments” I created with Videosync. Super fun to perform. All video sourced from public domain sources.

Hi everyone!
I’d like to share my latest project – "Visions", a one‑hour audiovisual piece that combines atmospheric electronic music (produced in Ableton Live) with custom visuals built from a mix of generative graphics, GIF images, and video footage.
The whole work is structured as a journey – 11 tracks guide you through a flow of associations, where what you see and hear intertwine. It starts with a meditative, deep atmosphere to ease you in, then builds tension, and finally leads to a release. My goal with this project is to create a space where your own mind generates interpretations – everyone will feel something different, and that’s perfectly fine.
Between tracks I kept deliberate silent pauses – a chance for your visual perception to rest and reset before the next chapter.
For the sound, I used Ableton for sound design and arranging. For the visuals, I combined footage with real‑time generated layers (Resolume – I’m still experimenting with the workflow).
I’d really appreciate any feedback on:
Thanks for watching – hope you enjoy the ride!

I’m sick of my APC40. Recently I found this super random Reddit post with like 3 upvotes talking about a handheld gaming controller built specifically for flight simulator enthusiasts. I saw the thumbnail and couldn’t help but feel like this would make an excellent controller for running visuals. I bought it immediately. I got a script running that converts the controller data into midi channels and so far it’s working pretty damn well in resolume. The actual controls/fx on display in this video are fairly limited at the moment but for now I have the following mapped:
Right Trigger - strobe
Left Trigger - Find Edges
Red slider - Strobe opacity
Blue slider - master opacity
Y button - layer bump
X button - previous column
B button - next column
Left rudder slider*** - increase clip speed
Right rudder slider*** - master blackout
Trim wheel - scroll through project file
***not visible, located on the back of controller grips
Eventually I’ll post a link to the conversion script for anyone to use, modify, and tailor to their visual operating needs but for now I’m kinda just experimenting and workshopping things.
The goal is to have this fully programmed to my show file by the next tour date, wish me luck lmao

Did a virtual stream for a charity called KeepingTheDreamAlive. Each set I do is all original content with a theme for each one. To get better at these, I give myself limits and rules to keep it simple
1.Only allowed to use content that I've recorded recently and for each theme (this was all bubbles)
Only allowed to use 1 color for all the type (lyrics and commentary from myself) no crazy effects
Only effect outside of color grade is blending modes and mirrors.
Cut it using davinci to get better at cutting these with consistency vs random clip to clip.
Music is by Wax Future
