I like video games but this is incredibly reductive. So much television and film is enriching.

I think the argument here might be that incredibly popular TV is often not enriching.

More so, the argument that I would make similar to this, is that people who disparage videogaming as a waste of time are generally people with underveloped personalities and/or empathy. I would argue these same people are the target audience for brainrot material across every media platform.

How I Met Your Mother isn't a masterpiece of art, but I did like the writing for anyone not named Ted or Robin. I learned some sitcom joke techniques.
