Story My progress so far at 13 months HRT - MTF
I came out as a trans girl to my family and friends at the age of 18 and started hormones at 19, this is all I needed in my life, I can't imagine living without HRT, I know I'm lucky with my progress so far without ffs but I wanted to share that this is definitely possible, you don't know how much hormones can change you before you experience it 🩷This is very slow and tedious, we're speaking about little changes months by months, but in the grand scheme of things when | look back to where I started from, I get scared that the botched teenage boy with no sense of style or fashion still lives in me and that people can still see him.
I'm just so thankful to live at a time where HRT is possible and safe, and viable. I'm also thankful that | live in a country where I don't have to pay a euro for HRT, surgeries, or beard laser. I look back to all the people that fought and died for trans rights, that fought for me to have the right to be myself today and I just can't thank them enough.
There needs to be museums dedicated to the trans activists that made all this people, so that they are never forgotten. 🥹🥹
