Working on some designs for an air nomad video

This is a sort of au / redesign taking place after the tlok show later in korras life, this would be one of the air nomads descended from the new wave if air benders.

Im currently running with the name silka, a mix of an inuit wind spirit and the water tribe naming conventions.

Im mostly messing with how water tribe culture could influence tge new air nomads that came from their.

I'd love to see airbending choreographed like this. (Kyoshi already has some similar fan techniques in the Avatar Legends fighting game. 🪭)

I honestly think this would be the perfect evolution of airbending combat. The Legend of Korra did an amazing job evolving metalbending, and I still think Kuvira represents the peak of metalbending combat choreography. Her fighting style is just so clean, efficient, and satisfying to watch. And Minghua probably my best waterbender in terms of combats (maybe just bcuz she's different than any waterbender that we know) but she's deserve recognize i really like her fighting style.

Ngl we need firebender with unique style. Azula was cool but her & zuko was similar in terms of movements except azula was stronger than him.

I personally prefer choreography combat which why Avatar one of the best representative of that.

Now I want to see that same level of creativity applied to airbending. Imagine an airbender using war fans as an extension of their bending—combining speed, agility, and precision into one fluid fighting style.

I need a dedicated fan user in the Avatar universe. 😭

Raava doesn't seem to force the Avatar to be moral or follow their duty to the world. Instead she gives power and the past-life link. Other Avatars can only provide advice for the mandate of balance. So what actually stops an Avatar from abusing their power/forcibly imposing their will? And if that happens, how would balance be restored if they go too far? Kuruk's example shows there's not really a correction mechanism when an Avatar doesn't show up much in the physical world (he was duking it out with spirits). What's the answer if one truly turns "evil"?

I know its not exactly the same as ATLA or LOK but i genuinely love this art style. The character designs still feel like Avatar but has a different vibe. I think this art style is very charming. I think its beautiful. I like the design for Pavi alot, Jae will have to get used to but i feel like i could like it when i see more of him.

So far I am LOVING it. Only two episodes in though. I really like how much of a stark contrast she is to previous avatars. So aggressive, and impulsive. Just absolutely abrasive. I wonder how her approach to bending will be. Specifically now since she's having a hard time with air. Maybe chaos is her power rather than being calm and collected.🤣

Both are elderly individuals who are masters of the art of appearances and have no qualms about exploiting the weaknesses of others to corrupt them for their own purposes.
