Quit putting plastic parts in the valley of the engine and running coolant through them.
2016 Cayenne diesel. With the 3.0L CNRB
My 2012 Passat has been my driver for over a decade now, almost 160k miles by me, 250k total. The ONLY issue with the car is the rust. So I was casually looking and this one popped up. Couldn't resist. Should be good for another 10 years now.
This one is a 2014, 100k miles on the nose, Rawtek and stage 2 with DSG tune, headlights, wheels, etc. Couple of minor things I need to clean up but it's absolutely fantastic.

Hi all!
Recently my 2.0 PD TDI engine (BMM) went through an overhaul. The engine received a new camshaft, rockers, the intake was cleaned, new timing belt set etc. After the repair the dashboard reported l/100kms went up by 2l/100kms.
The full tank method shows that the mileage isn't that bad, but it's still higher than before the repair (closer to 7l/100km) and also the car doesn't feel as snappy as before. VCDS parameters check out, nothing out of spec.
What are we missing? Has anyone encountered any similar issues? Thanks!

It has a bit of vibration but has been sat for a yr i will be doing a full service on it soon but it has a bit of vibration when clutch is being pressed down not sure thats normal and if the engine is vibrating wether its the engine or the mounts
What are some good aesthetic body mods for the 2013 Passat?
My front bumper got cracked recently, so I want a nicer looking replacement for that at least. Also interested in adding fog lights, among others.

2015 vw golf manual tdi 123,000 miles new timing belt water pump etc. oil changes done regularly filters new.
Was driving normal not beating it, took it out of gear to shift and engine shot up to 5000rpm briefly blew some smoke out the exhaust. Went back to normal drove a bit more briefly happened again, shut the car off as it was happening. Started right back up no issue and drove cautiously without issue for ten minutes until home parked and now working through diagnosing. (Wasn’t in a safe place to stop and wait for a tow no pull overs, a lot of blind curves and was relatively close to home. But yes I acknowledge driving it wasn’t the best option)
Going to re check codes this weekend but here’s what was previous.
Have a code for an intake manifold flap motor, wheel speed sensor both a week old and have the parts to deal with but giving all the details.
Had a dpf light on the dash went through the cleaning it out attemp to atleast get a temporary solution.. I say had because after the rpm shot up and smoke briefly rolled out.. the light went away and hasn’t come back on, but again I have to run codes again..
Thanks in advance I’d really appreciate any incite or advice as the cars been solid and issue free since this random occurrence.

I have a 2011 Audi A3 8P and I’m in need of a rear subframe. Since mine has rotted out. Does anyone know if the Jetta’s and the A3’s have the same rear subframe?

I have a 2012 Golf TDI and it hit a "pothole" about 30K miles ago. I have a boost gauge I installed using my Mecevo race pipe that comes pre tapped and ready to go for that. I want to get an EGT gauge as well. Any good kits out there that you're aware of?

Looking to do a diesel purge on my 2014 Passat, but the fuel hose design on the CR170 looks a bit different than the CR140 guides I've seen online. Can anyone tell me which lines are the return and supply lines?
Also, follow up question. I've heard some people just change the filter and prime the filter housing with diesel purge instead of running it straight from the can. I thought of doing that, but wouldn't that just dilute the Diesel Purge since the return lines returns stuff to the fuel tank?
Sorry for my voice in the video, I've got a bit of a cold at the moment.

Hi everyone,
I own a 2010 Fiat Punto 1.3 Multijet Diesel with around 2.6 lakh km on the odometer.
I've been facing a persistent cooling system issue that multiple garages haven't been able to diagnose properly.
So far, the following parts have already been replaced:
Radiator
Oil cooler
Multiple coolant hoses
Thermostat
The car runs well, and I recently drove 120 km without overheating with ac off. However, the coolant sometimes overflows from the expansion tank (mainly when the AC is on), while the temperature gauge usually stays normal.
One garage suspects a head gasket issue and has quoted ₹35–40k for the repair. Before opening the engine, I'd like to get a second opinion from someone who has good experience with Fiat 1.3 Multijet Diesel engines.
Can anyone recommend a trusted Fiat service centre or independent Fiat specialist in Pune/PCMC who is good at diagnosing complex issues rather than replacing parts by trial and error?
If you've had a good personal experience with any garage, I'd really appreciate your recommendation.
Thanks in advance!

I have a slow coolant leak that was pressure tested but they couldn’t find source of the leak. Said most likely an ECG? Leak and would have to take a lot out and $4500?? Independent German auto shop. Next I’ll take to dealer for leak inspection too. Any others go through this and recommendations? I just keep topping off the coolant.
