Quit putting plastic parts in the valley of the engine and running coolant through them.

I bought the steering wheel off marketplace missing that part. Not sure what steering wheel it is someone helps plssss

Recently my 2.0 PD TDI engine (BMM) went through an overhaul. The engine received a new camshaft, rockers, the intake was cleaned, new timing belt set etc. After the repair the dashboard reported l/100kms went up by 2l/100kms.

The full tank method shows that the mileage isn't that bad, but it's still higher than before the repair (closer to 7l/100km) and also the car doesn't feel as snappy as before. VCDS parameters check out, nothing out of spec.

What are we missing? Has anyone encountered any similar issues? Thanks!

I own a 2010 Fiat Punto 1.3 Multijet Diesel with around 2.6 lakh km on the odometer.

I've been facing a persistent cooling system issue that multiple garages haven't been able to diagnose properly.

So far, the following parts have already been replaced:

Radiator

Oil cooler

Multiple coolant hoses

Thermostat

The car runs well, and I recently drove 120 km without overheating with ac off. However, the coolant sometimes overflows from the expansion tank (mainly when the AC is on), while the temperature gauge usually stays normal.

One garage suspects a head gasket issue and has quoted ₹35–40k for the repair. Before opening the engine, I'd like to get a second opinion from someone who has good experience with Fiat 1.3 Multijet Diesel engines.

Can anyone recommend a trusted Fiat service centre or independent Fiat specialist in Pune/PCMC who is good at diagnosing complex issues rather than replacing parts by trial and error?

If you've had a good personal experience with any garage, I'd really appreciate your recommendation.

I have a 2012 Golf TDI and it hit a "pothole" about 30K miles ago. I have a boost gauge I installed using my Mecevo race pipe that comes pre tapped and ready to go for that. I want to get an EGT gauge as well. Any good kits out there that you're aware of?

Got it at 180k one year ago, doing liquid moly oil changes through FCP Euro every 8k. All filters every 16k.

Only running about 70 miles a day but still ads up quick!

Picked up a 2013 Jetta tdi cjaa 2.0
Got it for 600 and it’s making dmf noise and kicking info drive and reverse at 150k since it’s an older car I got some stuff to refresh it, am I missing anything or can anyone give me some knowledge?
I’m also getting a tune and delete but I think I have a guy for that

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass mein Auto in letzter Zeit sehr häufig in die DPF regeneration geht. Ungefähr alle 200km. Was mich sehr wundert ist, obwohl ich in letzter Zeit 95 Prozent meiner Kilometer Autobahn sind und eigentlich dadurch er nicht in die Reinigung gehen sollte.

Zum Auto: das auto ist ein Superb 2.0 Tdi 220tsd km Baujahr 2017

Bin am überlegen, ob es nicht sinnvoll ist den dpf reinigen zu lassen oder gleich einen neuen einzubauen.

Vielleicht ist etwas anderes defekt?

I'll try to keep this as short as possible because it's going to be hard to explain I think.

I bought a 2014 Touareg TDI back in November and immediately noticed it needed several things which I will list below in order of when I fixed/replaced them:

-Fuel Filter

-ECU Tune

-EGR/DPF/DEF Delete followed by removal

-Turbo Replacement

-Intake Manifold Cleaning

-Fuel Pressure Sensor

After all of that, the car is running great except for one thing that I cannot for the life of me figure out.

When the car is started after sitting and going back to ambient temperature, a faint rattling/rustling noise can be heard from the engine bay. This noise is only present when the car is moving, and only under partial acceleration. The noise completely goes away when throttle is removed or full throttle is applied. I know it's not a loose piece of heat shielding because when the car is up to temp and restarted, the noise almost completely goes away. I can hear it maybe 10 percent of it's original volume. There are no engine codes and the car runs fine. The car has 155,500 miles on it.

I am slowly losing my mind over this. Please help me lol

I bought a 2015 tdi last month it has 143k on the clock. Only has phase one finished. I called to ask about the extended warranty the dealer told me it out the customer care told me it just lapsed this month so the warentee is over. But because it’s under 150k they would still take care of phase 2 but only until 150k after that I’m on my own.

The vwdiesl info page says my warrantee is still active because the original modification date was in 2017.

Can someone make this a little more clear for me.

Is there an actual limit time where vw no longer handles it?

Should I even bother?

If vw diesel info says the warrantee is active is that the final word how do I find out for sure because I keep getting different answers

Hi all, I ran into an issue while tuning a 2012 golf tdi. After a successful flash my car has a p0402 code and stalls when you give it power when it got into first it could barely go 5-10 mph. Turned it right off and am waiting to hear back from mrtuning. Any ideas? Did I need to specify an egr delete I thought their site said stage 2 required that so I didn’t bother to ask

Hey friends! For the record I’m a complete noob with mechanics.

I have a Passat B7 with engine code CFFB. I recently got the DMF and clutch replaced at 200k km. Now im looking to identify and prevent other common expensive repairs.

From googling i managed to gather that EGR and DPF clogging are two common issues. Im wondering,

1. Do you know of any other common issues with this engine code?
2. What can I do to prevent running into them or at least postponing the inevitable? (Other than just following the service book, which I of course do)

Keep in mind I’m a complete novice, but I’m willing to learn and perform simpler tasks with the help of the correct YouTube video.
