Hey y’all, I was taking off the hurricane of an old Harimoto to reboost and the following damage occurred. How cooked is this? Is it worth putting a new rubber on? There’s a bit of damage from a time i lent it to someone and they bashed it, but the top veneer damage happened rn…

For some reason I’m just getting around to my first penhold setup(I’ll take suggestions on blades and rubbers). For the gape between the handle and rubber where your fingers touch the wood how big is the gap and do I put it on bh side too?

That is the reason why players feel so good during training and struggle in tournaments. A lot of beginners never learn how to deal with these weird balls

I have realized lately that when I loop on FH, I can generate way more spin, precision and power in my loops when I hold the racket vertical to the ball on contact instead of horizontal, which has resulted in me actually getting substantially better and skyrocketed my rating because I can now bring way more loops on the table and all of them come in with extreme quality.
But it feels a bit "wrong" so to speak. Is this a normal queue or am I doing some weird shit

Hi! I was wondering what kind of things I can do with rubbers I no longer use?
Since I won't be using them for official competitions, I want to know if there are any things I can do with them even after they've been used.
I don't know, I've only heard vaguely that sometimes people boil or microwave their rubbers, or "revive" them with Coke, But does anyone know all the processes? How are they done? Do they work? Are they worth it?
Or do you recommend I just leave them as they are?

Purely based on looks, to me, i absolutely dislike pure wood handles, for example, the nittaku shake or the butterfly diode V, i really dislike them and I would just put overgrip on them, but i really like vibrant colors like the purple on the joola zhou qihao blade or any mizutani jun, butterfly has some of the best with some like the timo boll blades or the fan zhendong, to you, which are the best looking blades?

I was watching a video of Zhang Kai coaching someone, and he mentioned how on his forehand he waits for the ball with Rhythm then accelerates through it. Where as most don’t and lose control mess up timings for different shots etc. How that is a high level skill that’s great he has. So what are some other things like that, high level skills that 2300 players have that would be helpful to learn. Any habits ways of doing or thinking that is different that 1400 rated jim

Im currently using rakza z which is around 50 ish, i like how it feels like its soft and not too hard, although it may not be fast it is really well balanced, that being said its expensive in my country, not like 09c expensive but still, i see that hybrid mk is also a tacky topsheet that feels soft i was just wonderin about its durability cause my rakza z is going 4 months with 4 times a week 4 to 5 hrs play time and its still tacky as ever like the ball can be lifted from the table, i was womderin if hybrid mk is as durable

Hey guys, the next blade I will get is the Fang Bo B2 which is alc inner with limba outer; I'm currently considering which type of rubber to get on the backhand amongst the Helix Platinum series. I currently use Tibhar Quantum X for my bh (on Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition), but I want something moderately faster. I'm thinking Helix Platinum XH or 55, please help me out.

So I got curious why Sung Yingsha lost to Chen Meng in 2024 Paris Olympics. Went to check videos on YouTube but I couldn't find any 10 or more minutes of highlights of their match.
If you know or found one, can you copy and paste the link. I see other tournaments like World Championships but not Olympics.

Hi, has anyone experienced any upper back pain, maybe more towards the left side and side of ribs ( or maybe intercostal muscle) from table tennis, when doing fh, especially, or maybe from bh loops when you are trying to rotate and twist, etc., or heard anyone having this issue in the past? I was just wondering cause I have this issue going on right now, on and off, for like 1-2 weeks, where one day after a match against a player, I experienced pain around my sides of ribs. Still, it's been difficult to play games or train properly since yesterday, so I've just been blocking or pushing to recover and not strain any further lol. Just wondering if y'all have heard of this happening to anyone or if y'all have experienced it before?

I wanted to get Mercury 2 as I really liked them on my Pro-05. They weren't available in my country so I asked someone that was going to China to bring them for me. And this is what he brought back. These are blue and don't even have the protective sheet on them that came before with the black and red rubbers. Is this a new release? He isn't a table tennis guy so doesn't know about equipment and stuff.

I was looking for a rubber as linear as h3 to improve technique, and a lot of people recommended Mercury 2?, but I'm just not sure whether to get soft or medium

While my kids where playing tennis i needed to keep track of the scores, i could not find the best scoring tracker app so I created one: https://tt.woz.lt/
I can add it to home screen on my iphone and it has simple way to decrease the score just by swiping down. I could not find any other scoring app that does "undo" that easy.
I am using for myself, decided to share - maybe other will also find it useful.

Im looking for a fh rubber for a friend. So he wants it to be really slow but still spinny. I did show him a friendship battle 2 40 hardness and he said that it is extreamly bouncy. I dont know any slower rubbers. What should I recommend him?
