I’ve got a friend who swears by his Logitech G29, and he’s a much better driver than I am. I just upgraded from my G29 to a Simagic Sport, even though I’m still pretty new to sim racing.
I’m curious what the community thinks. Did I rush into upgrading, or is it one of those things where better hardware helps you grow into it over time? I know gear won’t magically make me faster, but I figured it was something I wouldn’t have to upgrade again for a long time.

Edit: I returned my g29 and only had to drop 240 for the sport as well, if this matters at all.

I just received today the 3D prints I sent out. They are just as flawed as was the waterjet cut steel, but for the test, it is just fine. Ergonomics are perfect, for me at least (diameter is 32.5cm).
For now, I will not waste my alcantara reserves for this piece, instead I start to look for better manufacturer...

I am posting this to help anyone that runs in the same problem and to validate Gemini's future responses.

I am assembling my diy rig and bought this 200kg load cell from AliExpress. Yesterday I connected everything, tried to read the signal from the amplifier and... Nothing, just noise.

I asked Gemini what it could be, and it said that the problem was probably the cable connection to the micro PCB in the cell's entrance. I doubted it very much, but I measured the resistance between the cables and only the red one showed an open circuit to the others, and the values were consistent with an intact wheatstone bridge.

Since the cell was already out of warranty, I went for it.

So I picked my knife, started to dig the white silicone as carefully as I could (not much), and voilà: the red cable was indeed disconnected and cemented under resin, and Gemini was right this time.

Now I'm gonna try to solder it back somehow.

I started playing ACE and AMS2 with Pico 4 VR-glasses. My Computer is not the newest - Radeon 6800xt and 32 GB RAM. But it runs without any lags, but you can See every Pixel in the Horizont. I was surprised, that it runs that good, After Reading a Lot from people with a 5080 etc.

The Settings i use are very high and ultra.

Is it possible, that the graphics become better, when i turn the Ingame Settings to Low? Or is my Computer an atomic super Machine, and so the old 6800xt blows all the new gpus to the moon?

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Just noticed in the weekly races at spa and Monza where LiCo was needed for a 2 stinter that my delta sometimes went negative even though I lifted for the entry for fuel saving. might have been me not having set a verry good lap yet or that I legit get faster with it. (Probably because I overtdrive the entry less with Lift and Coast)

When the race started i was so nervous. Can't remember that ever happend.

In terms of force feedback is it better or Moza r12, r9, Fanatec CSL DD 8nm , Logetich Rs 50, T818, simagic alpha mini. How is its force feedback compared to those
I could maybe get one used for like 545-580 dollars with the wheel or get Moza r9 base for 300-350 dollars and probably I’ll find a third party wheel for 100 dollars or find a Moza esx for like 150-200

Most reviews about it are older like few years old espically the one comparing it, so I am not sure if it’s worth the strech

Hi everyone! ive recently been getting into hypercars and need some advice on getting better. I watched track guides and am able to setup my car right but when im actually driving i feel like im very inconsistent. Maybe im just not focused enough (I have ADHD so sometimes i do just zone out lol) or im just treating the car wrong? Any advice would be great ive tried so hard to watch vids and get it more but im still a bit lost sometimes

Talked him down to $1500 for the entire setup with the r21 moza wheel base. He also mentioned a triple monitor setup he would add on. Should I jump on it? Receipts have been attached to all of the items included.

How accurate is it to real life? (If you don't tune your car to hell and maybe use a car from real life) Because y'all don't really seem to like it and act like simcades are just arcade racers. I don't really play with assists and am far from driving a real car (wheel + shifter) and assetto Corsa and RBR don't run well on my shitty laptop (I play GT7 on PS4 for context)

Hi guys, I'm new to sim racing, and my current setup is F-GT Lite with the R3. I just recently bought the Simagic P500 and am planning to upgrade it to R9. I would like to ask if anyone has any ideas on whether the cockpit will be able to handle the whole setup (R9 + P500). And If not please give me some suggestion, but it should be easy to move around as my room is not as big. Thank you, guys.

Looking for a way to secure pedals on the cheap for now. Does anyone have any experience with a solution like this? I do not have room for a separate rig set up and need a way to use my existing desk. Not even sure the Simagic P1000 pedals would even mount on this thing?

Anyone else have other ideas or practical solutions for a desk racer or Simagic compatible mounts like in this picture?

I'm new to simracing and regently started playing ACC with my Moza R5 / SRP-Lite Pedals. After watching a few videos I gave LMU a try and after setting everything up I feel like LMU is much more easy compared to ACC.

In ACC I have problems to complete a single clean lap if I try to push, in LMU it instantly felt more comfortable and easier to drive.

Do you feel the same or did I potentially mess something up during initial setup?

All the assistance settings are turned off in both games (as far as possible) and I tend to run TC around 3-5 and ABS around 3.

So I bought my first rig like 2 months ago (Moza R12), LMU is my first sim game and I've done 51h in it so far (I've only played some sim-cade games on controller before). I've driven on a simrig for maybe 3h overall, before getting my own. I think I'm doing pretty well for a beginner but wanted to hear your opinions. I usually get put in Splits 2-4 now for LMGT3 (haven't touched any other classes yet).

Im using content manager, set to openVR. Virtual desktop set to VDXR. It will run in steam vr but not from content manager.

With a link cable it worked every time without fail.

Pour que ce projet voie le jour, je recherche des bénévoles passionnés souhaitant participer à son organisation.
Je cherche notamment :
un réalisateur pour gérer les caméras en direct ;
une ou deux personnes pour la réalisation technique (OBS, overlays, streaming) ;
des commentateurs ;
des commissaires de course pour appliquer le règlement ;
un administrateur BeamMP / serveur ;
un graphiste pour l’identité visuelle ;
un community manager/modérateur ;
des pilotes motivés pour participer aux entraînements et à la course.
L’objectif n’est pas de gagner de l’argent, mais de créer un événement de qualité, immersif et sérieux, afin de montrer tout le potentiel de BeamNG en compétition.
Si le projet prend de l’ampleur, j’aimerais en faire un rendez-vous régulier avec une production toujours plus professionnelle.

LMU CEO Stephen Hood has stated that career mode will come to LMU when they decide to stop development of the game and land with rf3 so as to leave something for users and let them play in single player, but is something like this really acceptable?
