Other Nerves while speaking
Looking for advice regarding getting over nerves while speaking. Presumably the answer is to just speak more till it goes away, but if anyone has any suggestions for making the process quicker it would be much appreciated.
I'm unsure of my level in Russian, but my writing is leagues better than my speaking and whenever I do get the chance to speak I freeze up and get very self conscious. I don't want to make the conversation difficult for those I'm speaking to as i search for a word that I know I've learned, so I find myself switching to english even though I'd really rather not.
I know this is a common issue, but I'm curious to see what has worked for you all if you've run into this in the past
