Media $3 thrift find
Had a lucky find at a thrift event, unfortunately the glue/tape stained the book but for how pristine everything was no biggie

Ich suche vergeblich in Europa nach diesen Sachen, ich bin mir bewusst das ich wohl in den Staaten danach suchen muss. Hat jemand eine Ahnung auf welchen Seiten sowas verkauft wird?

I don't know how to explain it, but the sound effects are so good. Picking up weapons, money and armor trigger awesome sound effects that go well with the game's atmosphere.
The opening soundtrack of the game is a masterpiece but honestly wouldn't expect less from Rockstar's 3D era music. Listening to it makes want to play the game more.
The feeling of driving around liberty city hits the hardest. The map included three different islands and there's so much exploration to do.
There are certain events in the story that happened which left me feeling grim.
a. JD O'Toole, a character you bond with (quite a funny, well written character) and do multiple jobs with at the beggining of the game is assassinated ALL of a sudden. Then you'd have to dump the car in the river while driving his dead body. The saddest part if you enter the 1st person view, you would litteraly see him dead next to you after so many jokes and laughs you shared with him

b. Cannnibalism. There's LITTERALY characters from vice city that get eaten off screen, and a scene where a corpse is being eaten

Honestly ... it is ... a masterpiece of a story element.
Billionaire Donald Love is supposed to represent the highest richest social class there is in society and how corrupt they are. They feel powerful when engaging in acts of Cannibalism and having 'morgue parties'.
What does this remind me of ....

I just appreciate Rockstar for not being shy in representing real world elements in this game, and it still feels dark and gritty.
Also Avery Carrington gets eaten in Liberty City was pretty dark

c. Betrayal
Members of the same family you work for, the Leonies, want to betray you and have you killed.
I'm talking about Vincenzo specifically

Throughout the story at some point, you litteraly get setup by your former boss to be killed on a boat in the most horrific way, by hundreds of psychopathic men running after you with chainsaws

Critics of the game argue the only purpose of the protagonist Tony is to rise up in the ranks of the family, which is a pretty linear storytelling.
I agree, but couldn't help but notice how TOP notch the voice acting of the characters are ...
Hearing Maria, Donald Love, Even Salvatore Leone and many (if not all) other characters was like watching a movie.
GTA LCS reminded me a lot of the Godfather 1 (Game) because of the Mafia story.
It is a experimental game launched on the PS2 to fund GTA IV, but man did it create so many memories. Have no doubt will revisit it in the future.

I point this stuff out to my friends and they don’t even care. No one seems to care. Like is everyone just fine with this? A decade ago if you spent $100 on a game you got a statue, a red carpet, and maybe even a blowjob from the head of HR. Now this is the cost people pay just to have the appropriate amount of content in a digital game.

What if in GTA VI Online, your first mission is to assassinate your GTA V Online's character so that your GTA VI character can move on and start anew path.
or
Continue as your GTA V Online's character which would be an unfair advantage.

I mean, they have enough money and teams to be able to develop more than one game at a time. We easily could've gotten another LA Noire, Bully, or even Max Payne, but instead they chose to make GTA 5, then RDR2...then nothing for 8 years until GTA 6.
I know Rockstar isn't the only company like this (Bethesda is the same, although they still release bits and pieces between their main IPs), but it's just a confusing choice considering how huge and beloved a company like Rockstar is; why not take advantage and get some new games out instead of having these large gaps?
I can't help but wonder how long we'll have to wait for something new after GTA 6.

I put together a 25-stop road trip around San Andreas. It includes beaches, mountain roads, vineyards, landmarks, hidden spots and a few city locations.
Each stop has a screenshot, coordinates, a map showing where to go and a checkbox so you can keep track of which places you’ve visited.
It works on mobile and you can save it like an app. There are no ads or anything on the link, it’s just a fan-made project I made for fun.

The Warriors really needs a proper remaster. The game is still amazing, but imagine it with modern graphics and other things

What if we get same map in gta 6 and rdr online which will looks like whole USA. Every maybe half year we will get map expansions so after 3-4 we will have whole USA in modern days and in 1880s-1890s. Same map but different feelings (modern suburbans in gta online are small cities in rdo). What do u think?

Do you think Rockstar might reuse the music from the preorder trailer in the actual game, like for the menu theme or the booting up theme ?
